Fear of Loss

Sebastian POV.

"Dad, stop! The celebration!" I scream. I stop feeling the belt hit my skin. Then it continues.
"You better not remove your shirt." He growls. He slaps my back, over and over again.

After what feels like in eternity, he stops and walks upstairs like nothing happened. Like is son isn't on the ground in too much pain to move. I groan whenever I move. I slowly make my way upstairs to clean up. He hit me until my skin had peeled off and was just raw skin.

"Ah!" I scream. I shoot up into a sitting position. "CAITLIN!" I try to move but I can't.

"Sebastian!" Barry says. "You're alive! Thank god!"

"CAITLIN?" I shout.
"Ummmm..... Sebastian..."

"No... Noo... This can't- this- no."

"I'm so-so sorry." He puts a hand on my shoulder but I shrug it off.

"I thought you were fast, but apparently I was wrong."

"Sebastian..."

"Leave, please." I turn away from him. I hear footsteps then the door closes. I grab my phone from the table. I text Caitlin.

Sebastian: Are you okay?

I regret sending that as soon as I did. Of course not.

Sebastian: I'll be there soon, hang on, please.

I let out a loud sigh and put the phone down. Everything hurts, really bad.

"Sebastian?" I hear a voice say while coming in. "Go away." I shout.

"Sebastian..." I turn around. "Meister, now is not the time."

"Meister? Uh no, it's Blaine." I looks at him.

"Blaine, as in Glee club Blaine?"
"Yes?"
"Did Barry?"

"It was really confusing..."

"God." I cover my eyes with my hands.

"Are you always in a hospital bed?" He smiles.

"Apparently." I give him a small smile.

"So, Barry told me some things... She's- Ya know?"

"Yeah."

"Hey you remember that day? So many years ago?"

"When we met?"

"When your sister knocked on my door and cried her eyes out in front of me."

"You remember that?"

"Never forgot it, thought you did. I don't know I never brought it up and I didn't want to open up old wounds. So I played along when you introduced yourself at Dalton."
"Wow... And you never told anyone?"

"Nope. I remember that day vividly. Sam ran to my house and knocked on the door, loud. So I thought it was serious, your dad. She started crying right on the doorsteps. I brought her in. I wasn't sure what happened so I let her calm down and tell me, she said "Seb's in trouble." So I called the police on the spot. I should've called them sooner, maybe Susan wouldn't have- I'm sorry. I just remember hearing sirens, so I ran to your house. I waited until the police brought you out. I was so scared. I thought... They brought out Susan first and I- I panicked. Then I saw them about to bring you to the hospital, I saw all that blood. I saw your dad in a bag. I- That was really horrible, and I can only imagine how bad it must've been."

"I mean, I've been thinking about that recently. When my mom found out... She freaked. She became overprotective. Then I was bullied and sent to Dalton. I swore to never tell anyone what happened." I frown.Tears falling.

"Hey, it's okay." Blaine gives me a hug, a bit to tight.

"Ow- I'm pain." I wince.

"Sorry." He chuckles.

"Hey you remember the rock slushie?"
"Oh god, I'm sorry." I whisper.
"Hey it's good. I heard about Santana's rant and how you sang... Sound interesting. Too bad I missed it."

"I have to admit, I was definitely better."
