The next morning, Jungkook showered, got dressed, and made his way to the kitchen to prepare his breakfast. To his surprise, he found Master Kim already sitting there. As Master Kim sensed Jungkook's presence, he turned his head. Before he could speak, Jungkook greeted him, "Good morning, Master Kim."

"Good morning, Jungkook. Please, sit down. I have something to discuss. Or would you like to have breakfast first?" Master Kim asked. Jungkook shook his head, indicating he wasn't very hungry. Master Kim nodded and said, "My cousin is coming tomorrow to stay for the night before he leaves for America to continue his studies. I'll be in a meeting for the entire day, but I'll return in the evening. Can you please take care of him in my absence?" Jungkook agreed with a nod, and Master Kim thanked him. That was all he wanted to discuss, so he left for his meeting. Jungkook spent the rest of the day watering the plants and thinking about the upcoming guest.

The next morning, Jungkook prepared breakfast for all three of them as instructed by Master Kim. He did so upon finding Master Kim already in the kitchen when he arrived. After preparing the food, he arranged the plates, and just as he finished, the doorbell rang. Before he could open the door, Master Kim had already done so. "Hyung, long time no see," greeted the newcomer, Gungsu, who hugged Master Kim. Master Kim introduced Jungkook to Gungsu, who appeared to be quite taken with Jungkook, while Jungkook smiled politely. Breakfast proceeded peacefully until a moment when Jungkook choked on his food. Master Kim promptly assisted him, concerned, and asked if he was okay. Jungkook brushed it off, stating he got distracted. However, the truth was that Gungsu had inappropriately touched him. Taehyung noticed the discomfort but didn't press further, not noticing Gungsu's smirk.

When Jungkook finished with the dishes, he went to the living room and asked if Gungsu needed anything. Gungsu initially responded, "You," before backtracking, saying he didn't need anything. Jungkook went about his day, periodically checking in with Gungsu, who always declined any assistance. Towards the evening, as Jungkook began preparing dinner, he felt Gungsu's hand on his waist. Startled, Jungkook flinched away but soon realized it was Gungsu. Jungkook continued his work but was met with inappropriate remarks from Gungsu, who questioned why Jungkook, a beauty, had married the masked "old bastard." Gungsu made crude advances and insults about Taehyung, insinuating that Jungkook married him for money. Gungsu even suggested Jungkook come to him, making graphic and offensive comments about his desires.

Jungkook finally snapped and held a knife close to Gungsu's crotch, threatening to harm him if he continued. Taehyung and Jimin, who had entered the penthouse but remained hidden, were astounded by Jungkook's bold reaction. They decided to reveal themselves after witnessing Gungsu's inappropriate behavior. Jimin introduced himself as Master Kim's secretary, and both he and Taehyung pretended that they had just returned. Jungkook served dinner, and Taehyung noticed the tingly sensations in his stomach, feeling sad and angered by Gungsu's choice of words regarding himself. Jimin and Taehyung kept up the pretense of being unaware.

After dinner, Gungsu apologized to Jungkook, who forgave him, understanding Gungsu's young and impulsive nature. Jungkook didn't want to create a rift between them. Later that night, after Gungsu went to sleep, Taehyung bade farewell to Jimin and thanked Jungkook for the delicious food and kind hospitality. Once again, it was just Jungkook and Master Kim alone in the penthouse. An awkward silence enveloped them, and Taehyung decided to address Gungsu's earlier behavior. He apologized for Gungsu's actions, explaining that his cousin was good at heart. Jungkook nodded in agreement. Taehyung could sense Jungkook's discomfort and explained how he and Jimin had seen and heard everything. They bid each other goodnight and retreated to their respective rooms.

That night, both Taehyung and Jungkook slept with smiles on their faces, unknowingly falling in love with one another. Love had quietly taken root in their hearts, blossoming in the most unexpected way.
