Jungkook mumbled a quiet "meanie" to himself and went to his room with a burning face and neck.

After showering which was relaxing to the blue black marks on his body. He came out of the shower and saw the time, he gasped after seeing how late it was and quickly donned a white tshirt and sweatpants.

He quickly went outside, towards the direction of kitchen. Upon reaching the kitchen he was surprised to see the site in front of him, a boiling soup which was full of vegetables looking absolutely delicious and ohh the chicken which was in the oven was looking heavenly, he directed his eyes from where the quiet chopping sounds were coming.

Once he looked in that direction, he couldn't peel off his eyes after. Taehyung was looking utterly handsome while concentrating on chopping the vegetables, his jaw was looking so sharp that Jungkook wanted to glide his finger on it so test if it cut his finger.

"Staring is a bad habit Jungkook" said Taehyung as he stopped chopping vegetables and stood with his back supported by the kitchen counter with his arms folded, with a smirk decorating his face.

Jungkook found the site extreme sexy and said back "If staring is a bad habit let me ask for your permission" with this he moved towards Taehyung and stood directly infront of him. He batted his eyelashes and asked "May I to look at please look at you?". Taehyung flushed at the site of the younger who was batting his eyes lashes like a doll, with his pink pouty lips jutted out. Jungkook giggled at the older and squished his cheeks causing a pout to form on the older's face. "I was joking hyungie, don't worry I would look at you secretly so that you don't feel uncomfortable."

Taehyung chuckled and said "You little cheeky creapy brat, don't worry this face is only reserved for you to see."

Jungkook's cheeks pinked at this statement and he lightly hit on the older's chest mumbling a "cheesy bear" but Taehyung heard it and laughed heartily. Jungkook whined" stoppp " "Okay ~ but remember what I said this face of mine is only for you to see" Taehyung teased again but stopped when Jungkook glared at him
which according to Jungkook was scary but according to Taehyung Jungkook looked like an angry bunny, but Taehyung didn't say it out loud of course.

( Cause he might be a tiny bit scared of Jungkook? Who knows?)

Jungkook then strode towards the soup to stir it but Taehyung stopped him, Jungkook looked at him questioningly "Go and sit, today I will serve the dinner." Jungkook protested but he stopped his protests as soon as Taehyung threatened to carry him to the table.

Jungkook sat there impatiently , time to time curiously peeking into the kitchen to see what's happening. But Taehyung caught him doing that and said "calm down you sneaky bunny, I am coming" "A-am not waiting for y-you I am waiting for the f-food" Jungkook shuttered.

Taehyung just teasingly nodded his head.

After the food was served Jungkook and Taehyung started talking more like teasing each other. Jungkook and Taehyung were enjoying their time.
When suddenly Jungkook bend over the table to get the pepper shaker. His tshirt rode up a little revealing his scars and brusies which didn't get missed by Taehyung.

From then the jolly dinner went quite. Jungkook understood the change in atmosphere but he couldn't pinpoint the exact reason.

The dinner was finished and now Taekook began clearing the dishes. They were working in sinc , where Jungkook washed the dishes and Taehyung bought him the dirty dishes. The atmosphere was now comfortable but the tension was still there.

Finally after washing all the dishes, Jungkook went to Taehyung to wish him good night. He saw Taehyung talking to someone on the phone in hushed voice, Jungkook waited patiently while suppressing his urge to listen.

"Come here Jungkook" Taehyung said
Jungkook quickly obliged and went to him. He now stood in front of Taehyung.

Jungkook was getting nervous by each passing second as Taehyung was raking his eyes over his whole body.
Jungkook wanted to ask if some thing was wrong but Taehyung spoke first

"Remove your tshirt" "H-huh" Jungkook shuttered out confused.
"Remove your tshirt and show me your scars "Taehyung said more clearly this time "But why?"Jungkook asked " I want to see how many times you needed someone but it wasn't provided" Taehyung whispered.

Jungkook quietly removed his shirt and sweatpants, he stood only in his boxers now. Taehyung's eyes widened after seeing Jungkook's body.

Scars both big and small some healed and some in the process of healing, the purple bruises on the younger's calf and thighs. Taehyung's hands trembled, he forwarded his hand and gently traced the biggest scar on Jungkook's belly "I got it when I stubbornly demanded to see my grandmother." Jungkook said quietly with a voice thick with emotions, tears threatening to fall. "It's okay let it go I am here for you" said Taehyung and that snapped something in Jungkook he began crying hysterically Taehyung embraced him and rubbed a comforting hand on Jungkook's back and made themselves sit on the couch.

He took the ointment that he earlier retrieved from his bedroom and slowly began to apply it on the still not healed wounds. When he finished doing that he saw Jungkook looking up at him with his still watery do like eyes which was utterly cute.

Taehyung cooed quietly and said "Feeling better?" "Y-yes" sniffled Jungkook.
Comfortable silence fell between them when Jungkook shivered in Taehyung's hold as the air conditioning was on.

"Come on Jungkook now wear your clothes or you will get cold"said Taehyung still rubbing Jungkook's back. Jungkook who got sleepy with all the happenings of the eventful day whined and hugged the older closer.

" Nuu~ 'm slwepy and chu arwe warm hyungie" Jungkook said voice muffled and sounding child like as his cheeks were squished by Taehyung's chest. The older giggled silently at Jungkook's sleepy accent, he hugged the younger closer. He understood that the younger was tired so he tried again and whispered coaxingly "But bun you will get cold, then you will get sick and have to consume those bitter medicines."

Jungkook tiredly lifted his and looked at the older's eye, he silently gripped the hem of the older's shirt and before the older could comprehend he wiggled inside the older's oversized tee.

Taehyung was shocked but soon it converted into fondness he saw Jungkook's coconut head peeking out of the tshirt's neckline and Jungkook fast asleep while snuggling his head more into Taehyung's chest.

Jungkook looked like an absolute koala.

After some time when Taehyung was sure that the younger was sleeping heavily and won't wake up soon. He stood up his hands on Jungkook's back who was inside Taehyung's tee, carefully he towards his bedroom.

Quietly and without making any noise he settled themselves in a comfortable position.

Then he switched off the lamp. He mumbled a quiet good night to Jungkook and kissed his head. Which was replied to by some snuggling of Jungkook.

Both of them slept peacefully, while the moon casted it's glow on them through the open window.
