Master Kim, the CEO and Director of Kim Entertainment, held dominion over more than 50 TV channels and shopping malls. However, what intrigued everyone was the fact that this renowned CEO concealed half of his face behind a face mask.

According to the media, this
mysterious mask served to hide a significant, unsightly scar that marred his visage.

The masks he wore were nothing short of extravagant, a testament to his immense wealth. I will introduce you to my two personal favourites.

Mr. Gu, on the other hand, presided over Gu Enterprise, a company with a valuation merely a fraction of Kim Entertainment's. Nevertheless, it afforded him a lavish lifestyle, complete with a sprawling mansion.

He was a father to two children; his eldest, Taezum, was his biological son, while the younger, Jeon Jungkook, was his stepson, taken in for pragmatic purposes rather than out of genuine affection. In the public eye and to the world at large, they maintained a facade of familial love and unity, with Jungkook holding the title of the eldest son of the Gu family.

This charade was meticulously crafted to protect Taezum's
position.

Behind closed doors, however, Jungkook's life was one of servitude, subjected to mistreatment at the hands of his stepfather and elder brother. He endured these hardships
silently, driven by the knowledge that his actions were necessary to secure treatment for his grandmother, who was battling cancer. His financial means were incomparable to the Gu
family's, rendering him powerless to challenge their authority.

On a particularly overcast day, Mr. Gu received an unexpected summons to Kim Entertainment, beckoned by Master Kim himself. As he entered the towering 20-story building, he was greeted by Master Kim's secretary, Jimin. With a professional and formal
handshake, the two men made their way towards Master Kim's office.

Jimin promptly announced Mr. Gu's arrival, and with a wave of his hand, Master Kim granted him access.
In a display of respect, Mr. Gu executed a perfect 90-degree bow, even though it remained unseen behind his mask. He greeted Master Kim with a polite "Good morning." In response, Master Kim nodded slightly and gestured for Mr. Gu to take a seat.

Once settled, Master Kim turned his gaze towards him, his cold, and black eyes piercing deep into Mr. Gu's soul.

In his deep, commanding voice, he spoke, "Mr. Gu, I require a favour from you. Are you willing to
oblige?"

"Y-yes, anything for you, Master Kim," Mr. Gu replied, his voice tinged with both reverence and anticipation.
