Ghost Recon: Officially known as The Ghosts, they are an elite branch of Sentinels who do the 'dirty work' for the Terran Union. High skilled yet extremely dangerous, they are an elite Black Ops unit whose purpose is to go behind enemy line and act as a sabotage unit on enemy forces. They also specialize in target assassinations and interrogation using extreme methods of torture. The Ghosts have mastered every tactic in modernized, urban fighting. This unit was an evolution to their American counterparts in the 21st century, but their tactics and strategies have been refined and modernized for Union use. They have also learned tactics and strategies from not only the 21st century American Joint Strike Force, but also tactics and strategies from the European Federation Enforcer Corps. They are often prevalent in the most desolate situations, due to their resourcefulness and skill. They are also equipped with the latest technologies to help in covert missions. Their military doctrines mostly involve Asymmetric Warfare, Direct Covert Action, Special Reconnaissance, and Unconventional Warfare. They also employ a secondary military doctrine which involve Counter-intelligence, Counter-narcotics, Counter-proliferation, Counter-terrorism, Executive Protection, Foreign Internal Defense, Guerrilla Warfare, and Personnel Recovery.

S.C.A.R. (Special Combat Air Recon): They are a special ops unit that is part of the TUF Naval Special Operations Task Force. They are especially trained for space-based combat. They are one of the best for they are capable of causing massive damage with relatively few operatives. Due to the fact that sound does not travel in a vacuum, which would massively impede battlefield awareness due to being such a foreign environment to human evolution, SCAR team space suits utilize an advanced built-in laser microphone array to measure the vibrations of objects around them and then uses this data to artificially generate sounds to simulate these vibrations, allowing SCAR operators to maintain situational awareness during combat. SCAR team space suits utilize mechanical pressurization rather than traditional gas pressurization.

Special Recon Squadron (SRS): The Special Recon Squadron, or simply SRS are elite soldiers in the Terran Union's Special Forces branch who handle covert and other high-risk missions across the galaxy. Unlike S.C.A.R., their operations are more ground-based operations, while the S.C.A.R. mostly work in space-based operations. They're tasked to handle missions of considerable variety and importance, which includes covert infiltrations, sabotage, data retrieval, and force eliminations of key enemy operations. All soldiers in the SRS hold an officer rank such as Captain or Major, and these elevated responsibilities also confer the use of the Vanguard-class Titan.

Spartan Brigade: They are a vicious military war unit. Comprised of the most battle-hardened war veterans of the Terran military, they are utterly ruthless, brutal, and merciless against their enemies, often showing little to no regard for collateral damage. Their main objective is to cause untold chaos and destruction to the enemy, sowing fear and terror among their ranks. This had sometimes made the unit be considered controversial and often times suffered scrutiny from the public. Regardless, the Spartan Brigade had proven itself to be an important component in the defense of both the Terran Union and their allies.

Iron Centurions: Akin to a military defense unit, they're specially trained soldiers who understand urban warfare and guerilla tactics. Their main objective is to defend strategic areas that are important to the Union and are tried to fight to the bitter end. This earns them a fierce reputation as being cold blooded killers and show no remorse to their enemies as every inch of ground taken it paid for in blood.

Apex Predators: They are a special war unit who pilot Titans on the battlefield. This unit is well known for their ruthlessness and brutality in combat. They are comprised of special soldiers from the Sentinel Branch. What made these Sentinels unique their genetic mutations from the augmentations. Due to their genetic mutations, unorthodox fighting tactics, and gung-ho behavior, they were nicknamed the 'Apex Predators' within the Union. While part of the army, they earned quite the reputation as savage fighters on the battlefield.

Atlantean Elite Guard: The Atlantean Elite Guard is the pinnacle of the Union military force, reserved for only the most distinguished graduates of the Atlantean Military Academy on the colony world of Atlantis. Its members are specialists, masters in their fields, and the unit is only called upon in the most dire of situations. It reports directly to the Supreme Commander of the TUF. It also engages in some pretty shady business from time to time, from experimenting on other races, to creating weapons of mass destruction, all the way to hiring unscrupulous bounty hunters. Despite their background, the AEG played a major role in the survival of all life throughout creation.
