Disclaimer: I'm not good at learning languages so this may not be realistic that I could learn all of these languages but I want to try. I don't believe anything is impossible. I tried to learn French when I was at Salem State for a year and would like to get back with that so I can be fluent. I had also studied ancient Greek for a year too at Salem State and would like to continue learning how to translate and figure it out myself too. Trigger Warning

On Monday, September 30 I went to the ASL class. I was debating on either still going to that or to skip it and go to the coping with anger group and talk about Josh's mom about yesterday but I decided even though I wanted to vent about that bitch I decided to go to ASL instead. I'll probably talk about it sometime this week in another group. After ASL I waited for Zumba to start instead of going to the breaking cycles group. It was a good worked out. After Zumba was yoga and it felt good stretching and slowing down after a fast paste of Zumba. After yoga, I had guided meditation. I talked a little to the guy who was running it because he heard we talking about in a group how I am interested in learning Buddhism. He was explaining me a little of the history and then we started to meditate for 20 minutes. Afterwords I left and went home.

On Tuesday, October 1 I went to the Kiva for 10:00 for the sharing and caring conversation group. John was sharing some bad news about his heart when he had went to his appointment yesterday. He also mentions of why he makes jokes, it is because of when he is nervous and he talked about how he been trying to open a drum shop and that has been his dream. I comment on what he was saying telling him that I'll be sending positive energy his way and that I am glad I met him and I believe he will be able to follow his dream and open that drum shop. After group I gave him a hug. He always asks for a "John hug" after every group anyways and I figured he needed a "Jasmine hug." Then was community gathering and we talked about security. I guess someone throw a rock at the window and now there are security cameras there. It's sad they had to do that but since it's on Shewsbery street they have to. It's not the safest street in Worcester because there are a lot of crime on that street and burgery. We had community lunch. I was smart enough to bring a pop tart with me because I knew I wouldn't like the lunch we were having. I'm so happy that next week we will have pizza. The next group was the Trauma Informed Addiction Support Duel Diagnosis. When Tom was telling his story of why he is suing Genesis Club (From my understanding it's a place that help people find a job), he mention he shouldn't cry because men don't cry. I commented that this society program especially men, that they shouldn't cry to keep their masculinity. I told them what had happen to my dad a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday morning. He works in a factory during the night shift. He hurt himself at work and had to go to the emergency room. It hurt his middle and third finger on his right (Dominate) hand. Luckily he didn't lose his fingers. When he got home my mom gotten mad at him but then realized that he's hurt and comfort him. I woke up and that was when I found out about it. He needed me to help him with his bandages. After he facetime my mom on her 10:00 break he went into the bathroom. He did majority what he had to do so I won't see his fingers since the nerve is exposed. I went in there and finished helping him with cutting the bandage. When I was helping him he cried a little and said that "I shouldn't cry in front of my own daughter." He had his surgery last Thursday. He been taking two painkillers and one antibiotic and I guess he just took the last one. I'm glad that he is okay now. Then after I finished talking about that I continued talking about how no matter who you are whether you are a man or woman we are human and when we are in pain or something is bothering us we should let it out and embrace being human. They all loved what I said. After that group was Qigong Mind, Body, and spirit practice. When I as doing it I was able to get rid of the negative energy I was feeling about Josh's mom. I wanted him to come out here to see me Sunday so we can go see It chapter 2 but his mom told him that "We have to make the house look nice for Monday because we have someone coming over and I want to have a nice family dinner. Unless if she wants to come up here or if you guys want to meet halfway I'm ok with that. But I do not think that you should travel all the way up there." I had asked Josh to facetime me so we can talk about it. This made me so mad because she could have just said that they are having someone over and she wanted to make the house nice but when she said that she wants to have a "nice family dinner" made me feel like I am that bad and I make things hard for them to do that when he haven't been out here for a couple of months now. And it really get me upset that she said that he shouldn't have to come out here to see me like what the fuck? She act like I always expect him to come out here to see me and that I never come out there. When we were actually boyfriend and girlfriend we had to find ways to see each other and even as just friends we should still find a way to see each other if we want to see each other. Before we would see each other twice a month. Ones a month I would have my parents to drive me up there and once a month he would drive out here to see me. That was fair. Now she thinks I should be the one to see him if I want to see him? Like seriously? Does she realized I don't drive? I can't expect my parents to bring me up there every time I want to see him. The last time I was up there was a few weeks ago at the Peabody International Festival. Now I am afraid that ones again I would be the one to put in the effort into our relationship. That's why I had told him that I decided we should wait until after I move to Salem to be officially together. He asked me "Are you sure?" I told him "yeah." I only said that because of my fear of this relationship becoming like what I had with Edgar when I was the only one seeing him and we were in the same city. It felt good getting all that negative energy in doing this type of Chinese meditation. I feel more relax. Besides I know I will see him this coming Sunday in Boston because we are going to be in the Autism Speaks walk.

I had also gotten a paper on Fengyang Chinese medicine and I looked it up. There is this guy in Connecticut that teaches both Qigong and Tai Chi but according to this video you should learn Qigong instead of Tai Chi because it is easier to learn and it's all about focusing and staying healthy. Tai Chi is use for a martial art and to learn how to defend yourself. When I was doing Kung Fu, the couple of events I went to Si Fu had everyone do Tai Chi so I did, did some of that. Now at the Kiva I been learning Qigong and it feels good. I am more healthy mentally and I am able to get out all the negative energy.

On Wednesday, October 2 I woke up at 6 today because I planned to take the bus at 8 for the Kiva. There is a walking group with Andrei on Wednesdays at 9:00. It used to be at that time on Thursdays but this month he changed it to Wednesdays. I did went to the walking group last Thursday and I decided to do it again. I got to the Kiva and waited for it to be open for 9:00 then I went a crossed the street with Andrei to East park and walked around the park a few times. We talked about the the groups there and what's my favorite day which I told him Mondays because of ASL, Zumba, yoga, and Meditation. I also like Tuesdays because of Qigong. I like Wednesdays because of guitar 101 and Fridays because of Kareoke. So really I like all the days including Thursdays. I was also telling him stuff about me and Josh and about what happen Sunday. I told him that I know I will see him anyways, Sunday for the autism speaks walk on Sunday in Boston, my birthday in Salem next Saturday, and hopefully I'll take the train to Salem for Halloween/Samhain. After our walk we went back to the Kiva. Then I had Wellness Wednesday and I talked about my walk and how it is a good way to start your day and being able to talk to someone while you are walking.

Then was peers of color support and we had another good discussion. I'm excited for the future weeks of this group because there are going to be guest speakers starting next week. I have a dentist appointment next Wednesday at 2:00 but I really want to go to that group. Maybe I still could and take the bus between 12:00 and 12:30 and either get home and then walked to my appointment or take the bus straight there since it's on the same route. I love guest speakers. Then was compulsive Behavior Support. We talked about how we always apologize even when it's not our fault. I have a problem with that and so are the other people in the group. After that group was life after violence. I mention a little what I talked about last week. I didn't feel like going into detail about what I was talking about because I didn't know if I would trigger Robin. She was facilitating the group and I know she has a similar experience I had. Because that group started late it ended late. When we were done talking I was about to go into the Zumba class for the last 20 minutes but I also Jeff the guitar instructor and that woman so I decided to do guitar 101 instead and skip Zumba and yoga for this week. I am trying to learn how to play "Can't stop falling in love with you" by Elvis Presley. I want to play it for Josh on our anniversary/Valentine's Day. I hope we can be official again by then. This song is exactly how I feel about him.

On Wednesday, October 3 I went to the Kiva for the Alternative to Suicide group and I talked about how we need to educate people on mental health and spread awareness to it so we can unstigmatized it. When a person is feeling depress it doesn't mean they are going to kill themselves. When a person wants to hurt themselves or kill themselves that doesn't mean they are actually going to do it and shouldn't be force to go to the hospital. We should talk to them and figure out why they feel that way and actually help them. Group therapy may be good for me but it's not good for everyone. Seeing a therapist may be good for some people but not everybody. Taking medication may work for some people but others may not want to be on medication. They might want to deal how they feel a different way like for me I prefer group therapy. I don't want to take medication for depression unless it is the last resort. That's just me. After that group I waited for Jeff to get there. I had brought my guitar with me today because he told me he can fix it by replacing the tone up things with another guitar. He did that and put in new string so now I can actually play. Because of this I had missed the spirituality and Wellness group and the systems survivors group.

After Kiva I went to Safe Homes and did Zumba. It was a work out.

On Friday, October 4 I went to the Kiva for 1:40 for their art group and I colored. The Kiva don't open on Fridays until noon so that's why it is later in the day. After the art group was the drum cycle and after that was Karaoke and I sang Galaxies by Owl City.

On Monday, October 8 I went to the Kiva for Sharing and Caring Conversation and at the end of the group I talked about my birthday this Saturday. Then we had community gathering and Ally from Zia made their announcement about the Mac and Movie night event with Zia next Wednesday. Now the Zia group is for the young adults from 16-22. I am turning 23 Saturday but I still plan on going to the event next week. They don't need to know and besides 23 isn't that much older then 22 and I look younger then I am. Then we had pizza for lunch. After that was the Trauma Informed Addiction Support Duel Diagnosis and we mostly talked about addiction and how people think when it comes to addiction. We also talk about homeless people and how people think that they want money to buy drugs and alcohol. I talk about how we shouldn't assume and that I would give someone money if they are homeless and they ask because I choose not to assume they have bad intentions with that money. Then was the Qigong Mind, Body, and Spirit Practice.

On Thursday, October 10 I went to the Kiva for Alternative to Suicide and I talked about my situation with Josh and how I am afraid that the same thing with Said when it comes to my birthday will happen again. My birthday is Saturday and I will be in Salem but I'm afraid that his mom might still not want him to come and celebrate with me. I do believe that he will because he isn't like Said and his mom isn't like Said's mom but I am still afraid that it would happen again because so far I have seen some similarities between my relationship with Josh and my relationship with Said. I'm just sick of this. After that group I had lunch with Antony. He bought me a bagel with cream cheese and a water. We talked and he gave me my birthday present. He is so sweet. Then was the spirituality and wellness and we talked about how spirituality is a human right. I mention what we talked about in the Alternative to Suicide group that suicide is a human right. We all should respect the chooses we make and understand why we feel like it's a choose for us or to understand that everyone is different and can believe whatever they want to believe. Then was the surviving systems group and I talked about like what I said in the Alternatives to Suicide group that I want to start a RLC (Recovery Learning Center) in Salem to help people in Essex County/The North shore with their mental health and give them support they might need if they couldn't get it whether it is because of transportation or affordability. I want to help more people that might be struggling with depression like I am sometimes or any other mental health issue.

When that group was done, it was time to leave and Antony and I walked to the hub together and waited for our buses. His bus got there and then a few more minutes mine did. I got home and then later I went to Safe Home's. This was my last time going to safe homes as 22 since my birthday is Saturday and I am turning 23. Which means this is my last year going to Safe Homes before I age out. (I feel old now). Erin's kids was there again and this week I decorated a bag.

On Tuesday, October 15 I went to the Kiva for the sharing and caring group and I talked about my birthday from last Saturday and what we did and how I was happy that Josh was there. I was worried that he won't be there but he was and that made me so happy. Then was community gathering and we talked about a couple of screenings that the Kiva are having. One of them is going to be tomorrow for the young adults group and they are going to see Big Hero 6. The other one is going to be next Monday and that movie is for everyone in Milbery going to see 55 steps. I had already seen Big Hero 6 and I don't really care about seeing it again but if I do then I'll do a review on it on YouTube. If I don't then I will do a review on 55 steps. If I don't do either then I might do a review with Rachel on Maleficent when I am in Gloucester. I decided to go to Subway for lunch instead of having what the Kiva was having. I gotten a personal pizza, chips, water, and a cookie. I went back to the Kiva and ate then I went outside and make a video.

Then I went to the Trauma Informed Addiction Support Dual Diagnosis and I talked about how I was afraid that Josh wouldn't come to my birthday Saturday because of what happen with me and Said when we had my birthday date and his mom called him telling him that his Aunt saw us holding hands and told him to come home. I self harm that day when I got home crying. Even though I knew that won't happen again, I was still afraid that it would. This whole situation I am having with Josh and his mom is triggering me because of the trauma I had with Said. Also now that Josh's mom don't want him to come out here to see me and the only way for us to see each other is by meeting half way or me going all the way out there to see him, I'm afraid that our relationship will be like my relationship with Edgar because I was the only one putting in the effort to see him. I know in this case Josh actually wants to see me and would try to put in the effort to see me but I am afraid that his bitchy mother will stop him and not let him even though he is 21. Cristos agreed with my mom and Emma that Josh is a momma's boy. Jenny was telling me her experiences with boyfriends and told me that we should figure out how to take the train to see each other. Cristos asked me if I drive. I told him no and he told me then he should drive out to see me. Cristos also talked about being addicted to relationships, or to a person, or to sex. I had that addiction to being in a relationship in high school but I would think that I have mature since then. That's why I am trying not to focus on "getting him back" like I did with Said. At least I am learning from my mistakes. After that group was Qigong and I was able to get all that negative energy out.

On Monday October 21 I had a job interview at Abby Kelly Foster Charter School in the Elementary school. After my interview I went to Kiva even though I missed the ASL class. I might learn some on YouTube later. I sat in the coping with anger group and then breaking cycles for a half an hour before I went to Zumba. After Zumba I did yoga and then a half an hour of guided meditation. Some of the people from Kiva went to the Elm theater for a free screening of 55 steps. It's based on a true story of a woman who was involuntary admitted to a psychiatric hospital and gotten a lawyer and sue the hospital. I went in a car with Tom and 2 other guys. We got there and I took my seat. Then I went to the concession stand to see what I want. I got excited when I saw they have pizza so I gotten that and a water and a candy bar. They also had beer and wine but I decided not to get sangria and just get a water. Before the movie started they had a trigger warning for the opening scene.

After the movie I cried a little but I felt inspired. There was a Q&A. The people that were in the panel was Mark Rosin who was the writer of this story and his wife that played the nun, Colette Hughes who was the lawyer, and then a few people from Kiva and Zia. Colette is actually coming to the Kiva for community gathering tomorrow. I'm so excited. I hope I get to be just like her and help more people like  Eleanor Riese. After the Q&A I had to go home. I had a friend to drive me so my mom won't have to come and get me. When I got home I was so excited I talked about it with my mom. Then I did a review on my channel about the movie.

On Tuesday October 23 I went to the sharing and caring group and I talked about how much I really liked the movie and the kind of impact it had on me. Colette the lawyer from 55 steps came. Then we had community gathering and after community gathering I had lunch at in-house coffee. I had a bagel with cream cheese, double chocolate cookie, and water. Then I got back and I made another video.

Then I went back inside and we had a group picture with her. She had to leave because she had to catch a flight. This made me feel like I was back at Worcester Tech because they would have motivational speakers every year. We would read the book and or see the movie that the book is based on then we would go to Hanover theater at the end of the year and hear what they said. I saw Dr. Ben Carson one year and the three doctors another. As well as Colin Powell. My last year we had Liz Murray from Homeless to Harvard and after her talk I was able to go in the back and interview her for the school newspaper. Also for the graduating class of 2014 (I'm 2015) President Barack Obama came to the DCU Center and talk before the class go up the stage to get their diplomas. There would be the girls and some of the guys gave the president a hug. Too bad he didn't speak at my graduation. I would have hugged him too. If you don't believe me here's a video.

Anyways, after the group picture and she had to leave I went to the first meeting for the accessibility committee to figure out how to make the Kiva more accessible for people who are handicap, deaf, and autistic. After that meeting I went to the Trauma informed addiction duel diagnosis's group. I was telling them how this movie and meeting the lawyer really fuel my passions. There is so much I want to do to make the world a better place but I can't do everything all at ones. I'm thinking about maybe being a lawyer but if I would be that would be someday down the road if I wants to be because I really want to go back to Salem State and that's not a law school. After that was Qigong and we found a video from on YouTube to do it with instead of using that DVD. I'm glad we did something different AHS it felt good

On Wednesday October 23 I went to Wellness Wednesday and I talked about my spiritual wellness. Being Wiccan and how my spirituality has changed and expand over time with my interest in learning more about Buddhism. I had made a video about what I talked about too.

Then was the peers of color support and we were reading an article about the NAACP. I was  sick with a cold so I was tired and had low energy so I didn't catch everything we were talking about. Then was Compulsive behaviors and I talked about how I haven't self harm in 4 years but I am still scare that I will. When I first started going to college I was afraid that I would but then I didn't and being back home from graduating I been afraid that I will. I still have but there were a couple of slip ups. Then was living with violence and I didn't talk. I just listen because I was really tired. Then I went to guitar 101 and I still have a hard time tuning the guitar. I really need a new guitar if I want to learn "Can't help falling in love with you" by Elvis Presley.
On Thursday, October 24 I went to the Living with Lose group and of course I still talked about the movie 55 steps. I was saying how I am going to Salem for Halloween and in one of my favorite shops there is an alter where people leave messages to love ones and people have died. I want to leave a thank you for Eleanor Riese because of her courage of wanting to make it better for people with mental illness. Then in the Alternative to Suicide group I don't remember what I talked about. After that group I had lunch at subway and then I made a video.

Then was the spirituality and wellness group. I talk about how I am making a list of cities and countries that I want to visit including Israel, Greece, and Italy. In Israel there is Jerusalem where there are Christians, Jewish, and Muslim people. I want to see all those temples. In Greece there are temples of Greek gods and goddesses I want to check out because those are the gods I worship as part of my own believes. In Italy there is Rome and I would love to see the temples of the Roman gods (They are the same as the Greek's just different names and different stories). There are also Catholic Churches in Italy that I would like to visit as well. I had taken a class on history of Ancient Greece and History of Rome so I know a lot about the mythology and the culture and the spread of Christianity. It would be cool to actually see all of that stuff and to expand my spirituality even more. The last group of the day was the systems survivors but they want to change it to peer support which I don't like. There is already a peer support on Monday mornings. Whatever. I really wanted to talk about the mental health system since we saw that movie. Luckily they let me do. After that I went home and then my mom brought me to the bank on the way to safe homes. I took out $200 for next week. Then I went to Safe Homes and there was the Halloween dance.
On Friday, October 25 I decided to go to the Kiva for 12:30 for the sharing and caring group. I told them about next week. Then was the art group and then the drum cycle. I probably won't do the drum cycle anymore if I have to be careful with volume. Like seriously that's the whole point in drumming. To make noise. Then was Karaoke and I sang calling all the monsters by China Anne McClain.
