Jaehyun raised a brow at the sudden change of topic, this time more intrigued because it's about his own husband, not the current pregnant omega.

"What is he talking about?" He asked turning towards the beta who chewed on his nails silently yet nervously.

Jeno widened his eyes in realization,  "wait– he– he doesn't know?" He stammered in panic as he glances at the now serious Jaehyun.

Doyoung shook his head stiffly, unable to make eye contact with his alpha who couldn't take his eyes off of him in a more serious and intimidating manner.

Mark and Jaemin only kept quiet, both not knowing what Jeno is talking about either, yet also because the atmosphere became more... Intense.

Jeno suddenly felt really guilty and his sudden mood swings didn't help either alongside with the situation in hand. "I'm so sorry hyung, I didn't–"

"Doyoung, what is Jeno talking about?" Jaehyun interrupts with his voice stern.

Said beta flinched at the unusual use of his name, he was more likely called as "Bunny" or "Doie" by his alpha. But his real full first name? That's something different.

"Jung Doyoung, answer me." Jaehyun added, now using his full alpha voice that made his beta frown.

Doyoung fiddled with his fingers as he couldn't dare to speak up. Darn, why couldn't he say it? Why couldn't he just–

"Have you cheated on me? Is that what it is? You're pregnant with another guy's baby?" His alpha added more stress towards him by assuming such things.

Doyoung then glared at him, "what the fuck are you thinking? Is that what you think of me as? Fuck's sake Jaehyun, we've been married for 3 years and you would think I would go sleep with another guy? Are you fucking kidding me?" He ranted.

Jaehyun huffed and spat back, "then fucking tell me what Jeno was talking about!" He said.

Said omega flinched in Jaemin's arms as he croaks out, "I- I– it's n-not what y-you think..." But unfortunately wasn't heard by the arguing couple.

Jaemin held him close to his side, and couldn't help but softly caress Jeno's tummy where their baby will grow in before entering this cruel world.

Mark wanted to stop the argument since Natalia could possibly hear them and also because there's a chance Jeno, who is pregnant, is getting stressed by this.

"Why can't you tell me huh?! Just say it, Doyoung. Are you that scared to admit that you're with another guy behind my back? Or getting caught by Jeno and now all of us?" Jaehyun scoffed.

Hearing his name, the brunet couldn't stop blaming himself inwardly for causing this conflict. He bit his lip while at it and the pure alpha noticed it quite away.

Jaemin grits his teeth at Jaehyun for having the damn braincells to mention Jeno's name when said boy is already in a bad state.

"Don't mention Jeno's name in this, yes he accidentally slipped it out but don't drag him along. This is you and Doyoung's conflict." He couldn't help but grumble aloud.

"Then why wouldn't he tell me?!"

"Because I'm not able to get pregnant!" Doyoung finally snapped with his voice cracking and his eyes welling up with tears.

Everyone went silent except for Doyoung who tried to keep himself calm and not break down right in front of them.

Jaehyun, who clearly didn't understand what Doyoung's problem with this, still glared at him. "So? What's the big deal of it?"

The beta stood up abruptly and yelled with his voice cracking even more, "you don't get it! We've been married for 3 years and we don't have a goddamn child. Why? Oh because it's my fault for being unable to have one!"

After that, he turns around and runs upstairs to Jeno's own room since it was the only room he could go in without permission considering how the omega is like his own child.

Gosh, even that small word makes him feel pathetic about himself.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Jaehyun turns to the others who pursed their lips. "Wh–"

"You probably don't get him do you?" Mark asked before he could even speak up more about the situation in hand.

He nodded at the younger alpha and mumbled, "what did he mean about not able to get pregnant? And why is it a big deal?" He genuinely asked in confusion.

They all turned to Jeno who is the only one out of all of them who clearly knows the answers to their questions.

Thankfully, said omega calmed down after Jaemin distracted him well enough with a few sweet whispers and small butterfly kisses.

He exhaled deeply before starting his explanation on behalf of Doyoung since the beta was not in the right state to do so, nor face them either after what just happened.

"Doyoung hyung never told me this by the way, just a heads up..." He mumbled at them.

"You just found out about it and put the pieces together?" Jaehyun said earning a nod from Jeno.

Mark couldn't help but say, "smart as always, my lil' bro." To which Jeno lightly chuckled at.

"Doyoung hyung had a small diary he carries around, one day, he left it on the counter because he had to change clothes after he spilled soup on himself." Jeno started.

"To make this short, I basically found out why there's a whole box of pregnancy tests in my first aid kit every month or so. But I never spoke up about it to him, I felt like I was intruding even more if I did." He shrugged.

They nodded at him understandingly and signaled him to continue.

"Doyoung hyung was good at keeping it as a secret, taking it whenever no one's around, throwing the tests somewhere else where we couldn't find them, and such."

"Why'd he put it in your first aid kit and not anyone else's?" Jaehyun asked with his hands intertwined in front of his face making him look very serious.

Jeno hummed, "because he knew if he placed it on yours or his first aid kit or wherever he could hide it in, it would be more obvious and risky."

"If he placed them on Jaemin's, then either him or Heejin would find out." He said as they all couldn't help but feel annoyed by the mention of Heejin's name.

"And obviously he can't hide them in Talia's." Jeno chuckled.

"Why is he not able to get... Pregnant?" Mark hesitantly asked feeling like the topic was too sensitive to he point he isn't sure what he can and can't mention.

His younger brother answered nonetheless, always as considerate as ever. "He went to several appointments, even though he already knew why and heard the doctor's same answers, he refused to believe it."

He then sighed, "unfortunately he's infertile." He said briefly to which the others immediately understood and didn't ask any further.

Meanwhile, Jaehyun was blaming himself for not realizing and observing his mate's actions, reactions, and emotions especially when they're in an intimate moment.

Jeno pursed his lips, "you should talk to him... Doyoung hyung is just scared about a lot of things but never said anything about it. Especially when it's for your happiness."

Jaehyun took note of that and gave a small smile towards the omega who nodded at him reassuringly.
