"Your parents left with Audrey to the Lonetail pack, Zoey is continuing her lessons with Celeste, and Serenity is recuperating," Mateo fills Liam in on everything that had went on while he was gone.

Liam sat behind his desk, "Serenity what do you know about her?"

Mateo gave him a look, "the omega?"

"Yes who else?" Liam rubbed his temples.

"We know that she is an omega," Mateo trailed off.

"I want to know more, about her. Pull her file and find out anything else you can."

Mateo raises his eyebrows, "why?"

"Something isn't sitting right. It doesn't make sense that she'd be an omega. Her strength, speed, and capability. Just find me everything you can," Liam sighs.

"Okay, will do alpha."

The next morning Serenity woke up like nothing had happened. Her nose and shoulder wound had already healed. She was released from the hospital early that morning, but was excused from school.

"Thank you for coming halfway with me Serenity, but you should head back," Mercedes said. Serenity had walked halfway to school with her best friend.

"Oh okay," they stopped walking.

"Are you sure your going to be okay walking back by yourself? I can walk back with you."

Serenity shook her head, "no it's fine. If I wasn't okay then I'd still be in the hospital."

Mercedes hopped off her bike and squeezed Serenity in a hug, "I'll be back right after school. I promise."

Serenity hugged her back, "hurry off to school before your late."

Mercedes let her go, "okay okay," she hopped back on her bike.

Serenity watched her go. Her back soon fading into the trees. With a sigh she headed back to the pack herself. Upon reaching the pack house she walked in and went to the kitchen a book in hand.

Zoey walked in minutes after. A silk robe sitting around her shoulders, "I didn't think anyone would be in here."

Serenity looked at her from her position on the kitchen island, "I'm sorry."

"Don't be. Do you know what time it is?" Zoey yawned.

"Um, I think it's around nine," Serenity looked back down at her book.

"Why aren't you at school?"

"I had an accident yesterday so I'm excused today. Am I in your way? Should I go?"

Zoey shook her head, "no no, you can keep me company during today's lesson. What grade are you in?"

"I'm a senior," Serenity shut her book.

"Oh, I'm only a junior. What are you studying?"

"I want to be a teacher. A school teacher," she gently smiled up at her, "what about you?"

"Nothing in particular. I'm supposed to be Luna after all. I don't need a profession," Zoey sat down across from Serenity.

"Oh right. The whole reason your here?"

Zoey cleared her throat, "um yah," she pulled the robe closer to her body.

"How are you liking our pack so far?" Serenity changed the subject.

"I'm adjusting," she doesn't say more as the tutor walks into the kitchen. Beta Mateo walks in behind her.

"Zoey Mrs. Rush is needed at the high school today. They're short a teacher. Alpha Liam would rather you not go," beta Mateo begins, "so there will be no lesson today, instead Saturday will be taken up to catch up."

"What am I going to be doing all day?" Zoey questioned the beta.

"Serenity here is free all day. You are more than welcome to stay with her," all eyes were upon Serenity.

"Um, is alpha Liam okay with that?" She questioned.

Mateo nodded his head, "of course. Why wouldn't he be?" No one spoke a word, "okay then. We will be off. I'm escorting Mrs. Rush to the high school. You two stay out of trouble."

The two girls were left in silence, "Come with me up stairs, while I get ready?" Zoey asked Serenity.

"You want to hang out with me?"

"Yes of course why wouldn't I?" Zooey's eyebrows scrunched together.

"I'm an omega."

Zoey laughed, "really? I wouldn't think that, but I don't really care. Come come!" She gets up and grabs Serenity's hand dragging her off upstairs, "my computers on the bed if you get bored I'm going to take a quick shower."

Zoey disappeared into her bathroom leaving Serenity dumbstruck as of what to do next. She looked around the room. Clothes littered the ground and her bed laid messy. She shook her head, grabbed Zoey's computer, and took a seat on the pink fur rug sitting next to the bed.

"Okay you ready to go?" Zoey finished getting ready at last. (N/a Zoey in media)

"Yes," Serenity stood up from her position on the floor. She took in Zoey's appearance. She wore a white turtleneck, plaid skirt, ankle boots, and long fuzzy coat. Her hair was styled naturally and her makeup was also natural.

Zoey smiled at her, "okay so where are we off to?"

"I didn't think that far ahead," Serenity trailed off.

"Maybe we could go into town? I'm assuming there's a town somewhere around here?"

Serenity nodded her head, "yes, but it takes a while to get there."

"Can we take a car?"

"We only use cars when it's really important. Other than that we use bikes to go everywhere. It's cleaner for the earth."

Zoey rolls her eyes, "of course. Come on I have an idea," Zoey grabs Serenity's hand. She pulls her up and out of the room.

Downstairs they run into Aston who is in the kitchen drinking straight from the milk glass. He wears no shirt and hair is messy. Upon seeing the girls he put the glass of milk back in the fridge and shuts the door.

"What are you two doing here? More specifically her," he points at Serenity and leans up against the fridge.

"Day off. For both us," Zoey drops Serenity's hand.

"Hmm," he crosses his arms, "what are y'all doing? Going to do?"

"We want to go into town. Can you take us?" Zoey doesn't even hesitate to ask while Serenity gently bumps her arm.

"Wow, I haven't been into town in a while. I could get a few things," he pretends to think for minute, "okay. Fine. Meet me in the barn in ten. I need to do a few things."

Zoey smiles, "what's the catch?"

"Catch?" Aston pushes off the fridge, "no catch."

She suspiciously eyes him, "if there is any catch Alpha Liam will be hear about this."

Aston holds his hands up, "okay. Serenity will show you where the barn is."

Zoey's eyes follow upon serenity as Aston walks past the girls and goes upstairs.

"Why did you do that?" Serenity whispered under here breathe.

Zoey shrugged, "hey when was the last time you went into town?" Zoey changed the subject. She knew she would possibly regret this later.

"Uh it's been a few months," Serenity crosses her arms.

"Where is the school located then?" They began to walk out of the house.

"Everything is spread out here. It makes things safer. The school is past the forest if you take the scenic route. It's on the other side going north. The town is south. Humans live there. We avoid human contact," the leaves crunched under foot as they walked.

"No human contact?" Zoey questions.

"Yup, we keep ourselves hidden and have recently been moving further and further away from them."

They walked in comfortable silence the rest of the way to the barn. Upon getting to the barn Zoey helped Serenity push open the doors. Zoey starred at the racks full of bikes.

"All these bikes," she ran her hand up against the rusty racks.

"Yup."

"Where are the cars?" She turned back to Serenity.

"In the back," Aston walked in fully dressed. He ran a hand through his hair and dangled the keys in his hand, "hurry up, before Mateo comes back."

"What do you mean? We don't have permission to go?" Serenity's hands drop to her side.

Aston walked over to a cover car and pulled the cover off the car to reveal a grey 2015 Aston Martin.

"Whoa this is yours?" Zoey walks over and brushes her hand against its shiny coat.

"Yup," he unlocked the doors and hopped in the drivers seat.

Zoey pulled up the seat so Serenity could get in the back seat, "it's a bit tiny for my liking," Zoey started, "and really flashy."

Aston rolled his eyes, "get in. Hurry up."

Once everyone was in and buckled up in the car he drove out the barn not even bothering to shut the doors after him.
