"I can confirm she is pregnant alpha. Only a few weeks. Two or Three to be exact. The tests that came back were very faint but prominent and there." the doctor set the file on Liam's desk and leaned back in his seat. 

He sighs, "is it too early to DNA test?" 

The doctor looked at him like he had grown another head, "DNA test?"

"Yes. Just as a precaution. One can never be too sure."

"Understood. Werewolf babies develop faster than normal human babies, so yes it is possible."

Liam nods his head, "do it then."

"The mother would of course have to consent to it."

"No worries she will."

The doctor seemed a bit skeptical now but didn't bother to question his alpha.

"Now to the other matter at hand," Liam clasped his hands together.

"It's been a week since the incident and I've run all the tests possible. She is in good health, no brain damage, everything perfectly fine. On the matter of her memory, I may be superhuman but not that superhuman." He sets another file on Liam's desk. This time it's Serenity's

"So no clues when her memory will come back?"

"The thing is just her memory is gone. She knows how to perform all the usual acts no skills missing or anything. I watched her at field training and honestly it's phenomenal. I just don't know where her memory went."

Liam knew. He knew she wouldn't get her memory back anytime soon. The whole reason it's gone is his fault and the whole ordeal was in fact superhuman. Had he not yet processed that?

"Okay doctor. Thank you." He stands up and the doctor follows in suit. "I appreciate you looking into these matters for me and will be in touch about the DNA test." 

They shake hands and the doctor exits Liam's office. 

Liam sat back down with a sigh. He didn't have time to process all that was going through his head before someone else walked in. 

"You called for me?" Mateo.

He looked up, "Yes. Shut the door behind you."

"Is this about the proposal at the ball? If it is it went well. I know we hadn't had much time to talk about it with all that's going on, and the fact that we just sent all the visiting packs off. Some however have already started sending messages in support and alliance offers."

Liam shook his head, "that's great. However, that's not what I'd like to discuss."

"Oh, what's this about then?"

"Zoey."

Mateo sighed, "I know you don't like her bu-"

Liam wanted to get this conversation over with so he cut him off, "have you mated with her yet?"

"I-" Mateo was taken aback, "I don't see how that is any of your business."

"Look, Mateo. If you have I really don't care, but there is a protocol we have to go through for her to become recent officially. If you have mated with her I have to know."

"So this is about inducting her to the pack?"

Liam wasn't going to spill the beans about the thing going inside of her so he simply said, "Yes. The ceremony needs to be planned and it needs to happen soon since I'm taking power over more packs. I need a trustworthy Beta, Cresent, and Gamma."

Liam felt like a hypocrite. Seeing as the only person he trusted out of those three is Mateo. There needed to be a power shift and soon. Liam wasn't going to say this though.

"You fully accept Zoey to be the crescent?" 

Liam shook his head, "honestly no, but if she makes you happy it will have to do."

Mateo smiled, "we have mated already. I have yet to mark her seeing as that's kind of old-fashioned. I want to though."

Liam sucked in a deep breath, "Okay. Well, that's all."

"So the ceremony-"

"Kensley will be planning it. Talk to her. I give my full permission to do whatever."

"Nice thanks bro," he stood up.

"One more thing."

Mateo turned his hand hovering above the door nob, "yes."

"How long ago was it?" Liam received a weird look for this question. 

"A few weeks ago right before the ball."

                       "Wow, so this is your new room?" 

Serenity nods her head and takes a seat on her bed, "yes. Sorry I wasn't allowed to have guests over sooner. Liam told me to take some time to adjust and get comfortable."

Mercedes nods her head, "Yes I get it. After such a traumatic experience I'd take some time to myself also."

Serenity smiled, "You seem much nicer than the other girl."

"Other girl?" Des took a seat next to serenity.

"Yes, the one who freaked over me eating her cookie. I swear I didn't mean to. They just looked so good."

"Hmm it didn't happen to be Jullianne did it?"

"The name sounds familiar but I couldn't tell you."

Des shrugged, "ah anywho. Of course, I would be nice to you. You are only my best friend since forever and a day."

Serenitys smile widened, "you mean we're friends?" 

"Yes of course. That isn't something I'd lie about."

Serenity giggled, "you are already my favorite person."

Knock Knock Knock.

They both looked towards the door. 

"Hey girls not to disturb you, but what did yall want for dinner?" Liam leans against the door frame after opening the door. 

Des and Serenity just look at each other. 

Liam chuckles, "of course you'd be indecisive. How about some pizza? I can run into town real quick and grab some. It's not too late."

They both frantically nod.

"Okay, what would yall like?"

Again they look at each other. This time however they both burst out laughing. 

Des is the first to sober up and speaks for both of them, "Serenity use to like Garlic parmesan and I like the Hawaiian."

"Garlic parmesan and Hawaiian. Anything else?" he looked at Serenity. 

She shook her head and Liam pushed himself off the door frame, "Okay be back in like 30."

He closed the door behind him and Mercedes took this opportunity to ask the question she'd been wanting to ask for a while, "so, you and alpha Liam. It's a thing right?"

Serenity looked at her rather confused, "A thing?"

"Yes like," she made a kissing face and puckered her lips, "thing."

"Oh, you mean like boyfriend and girlfriend?"

Des sighed, "yah sure."

"I mean I don't know. He's really nice and has been super helpful with everything. Was it like this before? Did we have a "thing" before?"

Mercedes thought about it for a second. Did they have a thing before? Her mind screamed at her to say yes even though they probably didn't. She wanted them to have a thing because her best friend deserved nothing but the best. To be a luna is a huge step up from where she was before. 

It's rare for such a leap like that, so of course, she said, "yes of course. He absolutely adored you before and does more than ever now. In fact, quite a few people adored you."

"Really? Adored me?"

Mercedes nods her head, "I mean why wouldn't they?"

"These other people that adored me, why haven't they came to visit me yet?"

Shrugging she thought up of something on the fly, "the alpha probably wants to keep you all to himself."

Serenity giggled, "Alpha." serenity thought about it for a second, "does that make me the future luna? If I'm his girlfriend?"

Mercedes smiled, "I guess it does."

Hey, guys so I just wanted to say it's summer and I am a teenager living her life. Writing is just for fun, so even though I love to do it be patient with me. Updates will be slower than usual, because I am out living my life, and on top of that have a job, boyfriend, and join college to juggle. I will continue to write as long as there are people willing to read what I write so I will never be leaving you guys,
