"Liam we have an issue," Mateo walks into Liam's office without knocking. This just shows the urgency of the matter.

"Would that be the fact that people don't know how to knock?" Liam looked up from the bunch of papers that he had his nose in.

Mateo shook his head, "Liam this is serious." Hur turned to look at the curly-headed girl who posted on her usual couch (in the corner of his office that had been put there especially for her after she mentioned to him how he was in his office so much. He put a couch just so she could be in there with him comfortably) reading a book.

She sat up from her upside-down position. With her legs folded up underneath her, she looked between Liam and Mateo. Getting the hint she stood up, "I'm going to grab a snack from the kitchen would you two like anything?"

"Bring me back a lemonade, please," Liam asked with a smile.

"Nothing for me. Thank you though," Mateo nodded his head.

"Will do. Be right back." She sent her book on the couch and walked out of the room.

"I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't urge her out of the room. Anything you have to say in front of me you can say in front of Serenity." Liam looked back down at the papers in his hand. He sent them down and grabbed his pen adding his signature to the end of the paper.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to. It's just that-"

Liam held up his hand, "Mateo what was so urgent that you couldn't knock?"

"Oh yes. One of the packs that you had brought back to us. One of the ones that you became alpha to before you got your position here."

"Yes, which one? There are about five of them."

"The one in Oklahoma."

Liam nodded his head, "The Grand Pride pack yes I remember them. Their alpha was a corrupt bastard that didn't care for his pack. I was traveling back from Illinois and wanted to run back in wolf form so I went through the pack. The alpha at the time didn't take too kindly to that. What about them?"

"Well, the pack has grown quite strong since then. In fact, they are thriving, so much so that there is word of them branching off from you. Not just branching off but cutting ties."

Liam sighs, "have you tires getting ahold of Alec? We spent some time together while I was there. In fact, he saved my life. That's why I left him as standing alpha."

"All lines have been disconnect the pack is radio silent. I even tried getting ahold of them for the ball. I didn't think much of it."

"I need someone to go up and check on the pack. This is the last thing I need. A rouge pack," He massages his temples.

"Who would you like for me to send?"

"Kensley, she personally knows Alec. Seeing as she came looking for me after disappearing for a week after I was supposed to arrive here."

"I'll tell her to start packing. How many guards would you like for us to send with her?"

"Three SUVs, three guards in each, make sure she rides in the middle SUV. Make sure she knows that at any sign of trouble to radio back and I will personally make my way down."

Mateo nods his head, "When is she to leave?"

"As soon as possible."

Mateo made his leave just as Serenity walked back in holding a glass of lemonade.

"Sorry it took a while," she watched as Mateo left, "there was no lemonade made, so I squeezed it myself." She set it on his coaster in front of him.

He smiled up at her grabbing her wrist before she fell back, "hey thank you, I appreciate it."

"Pay attention to me." Serenity giggled.

Liam looked up at her with a smile, "I am."

She shook her head, "No you're not! Liar."

"I am. I am, I promise."

With a smug smile, she turns back and watches the movie that played. It was an oldie but it had become her favorite very quickly. It was romantic and sad and she thought it could turn anyone into mush. That's why she insisted Liam watched it with her.

Since he had been neglecting to spend time with her he caved in, so here they sat, on the couch in his living room watching the notebook. Well, she sat there begging him to pay attention to something other than his phone, but due to the events that had unfolded earlier in the evening, it wasn't so easy for him to do.

"That's not paying attention to me or the movie," she swung her legs across his laps using him as a footrest.

"The important thing here is that I'm here." he chuckled and sat up putting his phone down on the coffee table, "so what's this movie about?"

Serenity sighed, "if you had been watching you'd know."

Liam looks at the flat screen in front of him. The girl followed the guy outside. She immediately started apologizing and he wiped her tears. Liam scoots closer to Serenity and whispers in her ear "why is she crying?".

She playfully swats at him, "shh watch."

"I don't have to go to school I can stay here."

"So he's not able to give her everything she wants and that makes her upset?" he asks again.

Serenity shakes her head, "it's not like that. He doesn't want to hold her back."

"But he can go with her she just said that." He just didn't get it.

"There's nothing for him in New York."

"Are you breaking up with me?"

"Okay, now that's dramatic."

Serenity sat up and looked at him, "he clearly was trying to break up with her."

"No I'm calling BS, he said we'll figure it out later! Not I'm breaking up with you right this second!" he threw his hands in the air for dramatic effect.

"Well, he just said he didn't know how it was gonna work."

Liam rolled his eyes, "You see if they were really meant to be they'd make it work. Sees she just edging it on at this point."

"She's mad and sad that he's leaving. She doesn't want him to leave."

He narrows his eyes at the tv, "and yet she the one to end it?"

Serenity groans, "men. Can't live with them can't live without them." She playfully rolls her eyes.

"Hey what's that suppose to men?" he grabs her chin firing her to look at him.

"I-" his eyes. She's never noticed before, but they're gorgeous. They hold so much. Like His secrets. She wanted to know his secrets. What made him tick, what made him cry, and especially what made him mushy. She wants him to be vulnerable to her and only her.

"Stuttering now are we? I guess I just have that effect on some people."

"Psh, please," she grabs his wrist, and he drops her chin, "I just lost my train of thought. That's all."

"Mhmm sure," he reached to grab his phone from the coffee table.

"What are you doing?" She grabs his arm really quick.

"Grabbing my phone?"

"No your not."

"Who's going to stop me?" overpowering her he pushed forward and continues to reach for his phone.

"Me of course." her grip on his arm tightened and he stopped.

"Oh really?" in one swift move he grabbed her waist and she sat on his lap straddling him, "are you sure about that?"

"I-" her hands pressed into the couch, arms fully extended out. He leaned forward and she could feel his breathe on hers. Her heart sped up.

"Is something wrong?" he placed his hands on her hips and gave them a light squeeze.

Serenity felt as if her heart was going to jump out of her chest. What was this feeling? De Ja Vu? Had they done this before? Her mind flashbacked to what Mercedes said a few nights ago;

"These other people that adored me, why haven't they came to visit me yet?"Shrugging she thought up of something on the fly, "the alpha probably wants to keep you all to himself."Serenity giggled, "Alpha." serenity thought about it for a second, "does that make me the future luna? If I'm his girlfriend?"Mercedes smiled, "I guess it does."

She was his girlfriend before does that change anything now? Did they have to build the bond back up? Was this them building the bond back?

Shaking her head she spoke, "I'm fine. Just lost my train of thought." or rather it took a sharp turn in a different direction.

"Are you sure you're fine?"

She nods her head and smiles.

He lifts up his hand and places it on her heart, "this is beating rather fast. I can hear it."

Her face heats up, "oh that's, it's nothing."

He smirks. Liam knew the effect he had on her and he used it to his full advantage, "mm okay." his hand dropped back down to her waist, "so you wouldn't mind if I just-" he began leaning in closer.

Knock Knock!

Growling Liam looked up behind him. The door was half cracked allowing him to see the intruder.

"Come in."

Serenity slid off him and to the other side of the couch.

"Mateo told me to come up and get you. You're late for training and him and I are off to town for a supply run." Aston walked in.

Liam grabbed his phone and saw he's thirty minutes late, "Yes I'll be down in five in the meantime can you tell them to start with a warm-up, 5 minute run around the pack. Make sure they know if they're not back by the time I get down there I will make them run it again."

Aston nodded his head and left.

Serenity didn't know the Gamma (third in command) very well. She did know that he and Liam didn't get along very well which was weird seeing as he is supposed to be one of the most trusted people in his pack. He also gave her weird vibes and acted strangely whenever they were in the same room together. This made her wary and she tried to avoid him as much as possible.

"Can I train with everyone else today?" she asked as Liam got up.

"You sure you can handle that?"

Nodding her head she gets up, "I can handle it every other day. I should get to train with the pack every day now."

He nods his head, "go change."

Serenity meets him downstairs after putting on a tank top and a pair of tights. Tother they walk to the training yards. A group of sweaty teens stand around waiting for new orders.

"Is everyone here?" Liam asks.

Eveyrone looks around. They didn't wanna say no in fear for the ones that aren't back yet.

"I'm going to take that as no," he turns around to see a few running back. He waits for them to reach him, "run it again. This time you have three minutes for wasting my time. Serenity," he turns towards her, "run it with them."

Everyone looks between the two in shock. No special treatment for his girl? Yes everyone knew the two were a thing by now. Seeing as how the two became inseparable in a short amount of time. Rumor of her being their new luna spread like wildfire through the whole pack.

Serenity nods her head.

"No special treatment for princess what a shocker," Jullianne said under her breathe earning a snicker for a few people in her group.

Liam turned in her direction, "Jullianne since you want to make snide remarks you will be joining them."

"I-" she began to protest.

Liam held up his hand, "I don't want to hear it. And-" he pointed to five other people in Jullianne's group who snickered, "you five will be joining her, so get to it. Three minutes, the clock starts now."

No one had time to protest before they were off.

"Now the rest of you grab a jump rope."

Long time no see! I had a major case of writer's block. Honestly, I don't know where to go from here. I want to capture Liam and serenity falling in love, but I don't know how to exactly do that yet.

So all in all I'm still figuring stuff out.
