Month 1- Amnesia

The moon goddess did as promised and some. In another blinding flash of light, everything was set back. Everyone's memory, or almost everyone's, had been wiped of all previous events, the rouges who had attack had been apprehended, and Serenity's wounds were no more.

Liam kneeled before Serenity's memories still intact. While everyone else rushed around still apprehending the rouges. One question was still on his mind as serenity eyes flooded open, why did he still have his memory?

"We should get her to the hospital," Mateo came over and placed his hand on Liam's shoulder.

Liam nodded his head and scoops her up bridal style. She curiously looked around confused. Questioning who all the people around her were. Questioning who she was also.

"All attackers are to be injected with 4.5 ML of silver. Throw them in the dungeon, make sure all of the visiting packs are okay offer them anything they need and packs wishing to leave, let them." and with that Liam walked out of the ballroom and to the infirmary.

"Who are you?" Serenity asked putting her hand on his chest and looking up at him.

Liam didn't know how to answer that question. He knew what they were supposed to be, but did he even really know that? This was a new fresh start how was he supposed to make his first impression? Hopefully, it was better than the first time.

"I'm," he paused looking down at her, "well I don't exactly know yet, but my name is Liam." he gave her a soft warm smile.

It warmed her soul and made her feel safe. This man standing before her she could just tell she would absolutely love him.

"The image tests came back clear, both the MRI and CT scans, her blood work is clear also. No infections, no abnormalities, and I also did an electroencephalogram to check for any seizure activity just in case, but it's all clear. At this time I have no clue what could be causing her amnesia." The doctor looked up at his alpha from reading the information off of the computer. He shut it and crossed his arms.

Liam knew what was causing the amnesia, but who would believe him? Well everyone would believe him he's alpha, it the problems it causes after he told everyone he saw the moon goddess in the flesh. To also tell everyone she's pissed off with the Lycan race, it wasn't on his agenda.

"How do we move on from here?" Liam asked the doctor.

"We can try a few cognitive testing to check her thinking ability, but from there, there's nothing more I can do. I suggest taking her to a well-known environment. It could jog her memory but by no means force it."

Liam nods his head, "what would the cognitive testing involve?"

"Cognitive testing involves tests relates to thinking, conceptual, language testing, psychometric testing, problem-solving, memory, basic introduction, neurocognitive testing, and evaluating the impact of a person's mental health on outer appearance. I can do this over a series of days. Today I suggest taking her home and taking it easy for the day."

"Okay, understood."

The doctor nodded his head, "Bring her back tomorrow afternoon and I can start the cognitive testing this will take 3-5 days in total. If you would like to space them out just let me know. I will also be able to work around your schedule if that helps any."

Liam shakes the doctor's hand, "thank you I appreciate it doc."

The doctor bows his head in submission, "anytime Alpha." he exits the room leaving Liam and Serenity alone.

"So they won't poke, and take my blood anymore?" Serenity asked looking up at Liam.

"Nope. We're good, here are some clothes do you want to go into the bathroom and change?"

She nods her head. Throwing her feet over the side of the bed she takes the bag and goes into the bathroom. Inside the bathroom, she pulls a pair of ripped jeans and an oversized shirt out of the bag. After putting the clothes on she walks back.

"I hope those clothes are okay, Mercedes dropped them off earlier."

Serenity gave him a questioning look, "Mercedes? Do I know her also?"

Liam nodded his head, "She's your best friend."

Serenity smiles. Best friends. At least she had friends.

Back at the packhouse, everyone walked as if on ice whenever near Serenity. They didn't know how to act around her since they didn't know what she was to their alpha. If she was going to be their new luna they wanted to be in good graces with her.

Even now, as most of the wives of the pack rushed around the kitchen baking sweets, they had this on their mind and set aside a special batch of cookies. No one knew Serenity's favorite, so they set aside four of every kind they baked.

They even made a full dozen of their alpha's favorite cookies.

"Make sure every pack leaving today gets a pie, oh and tell them not to be afraid to come in and grab as they like," Alpha Liam heard as he walked into the kitchen arm and arm with Serenity.

He smiled at how hard everyone was trying to make the events of yesterday's ball go over smoothly. To go so far as to bake homemade goods. This is going above and beyond.

"Ladies I thank you all!"

Serenity took a seat at the island curiously watching as Liam praised the woman. She didn't like how he gave them all a rather scandalous full-body hug. There was such a thing as a side hug. Not knowing why she felt this way she turns away and looks at the kitchen island that is full of sugary sweets.

Two cookies, in particular, caught her attention. They looked to be like shortbread cookies in the shapes of a heart, with strawberry jam in the middle, and powdered sugar on the outside of the heart.

Reaching over she grabs one. Surely they wouldn't miss just this one. There were only two, but maybe the rest were in the oven still. Not being able to resist the delicious-looking cookie she takes a big bite out of it and practically moans.

Liam still in the middle of praising all of the hard-working women looks over and smiles as he sees her close her eye. The woman noticed this but didn't bring any attention to it as they continued to talk about the treats they made.

"Wheres my other cookie?" Zoey had walked into the kitchen to retrieve the cookies she had made.

Serenity looks over and realizes the mistake she made. The cookie that she just ate must've been hers.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't realize they were yours. In my defense, they were on top of the counter with the rest of the treats."

Zoey narrowed her eyes at her, "out of all the treats up here you ate mine?"

"I sincerely apologize. I didn't know," Serenity nervously scratches the back of her neck.

"Of course you didn't." Zoey groans. Those were the only two cookies that came out right from her batch of 24. It took her hours to put them together, and the jam in the middle was homemade. She was able to make just enough for those two cookies.

This made her even madder just thinking about it. What gave her the right? Or more like who gave her the right to waltz around like she owned the place. Someone needed to knock her off her petal stool and put her in her place.

"You know what? It's fine. Have you tried the apple pie?" Zoey began cutting her a slice.

Serenity smiled, glad that things were okay, "no. I would love to though."

"Oh yes of course!" she put a slice on a plate and walked around the kitchen island. She came to a stop right in front of her, "You definitely need to try this!" putting on the sweetest smile she could muster Zoey picked up the piece of pie and smashed it in Serenity's face, "Isn't it good? The right apple to pie crust ratio."

Liam growled behind her taking in the scene before him. Everyone stopped dead in their tracks. The attitude in the room changed.

Serenity sat every so still eyes clamped shut. She didn't know what to do. Why would this girl do that? It was an honest mistake eating her cookie. She still had another one left.

"Zoey!" Liam growled.

She turned on her heels to face him. Not even having the chance to defend herself Liam grabs her by the wrist and slings her against the wall behind him. She hits it with a clunk. The pictures that once hung went crashing to the ground.

Wiping her face free of pie Serenity looks from Liam to Zoey and then Liam again. The anger radiating off of Liam could be felt from miles away. Meanwhile, Zoey leaned up against the now dented wall with a smug look on her face.

"Now is that the way to treat a pregnant girl?"

This took everyone by surprise.

"Everyone out. Now. Not a word about this to anyone." Everyone but Zoey and Serenity scurried out of the room.

Serenity stood up and went over to Zoey offering her a hand, "congratulations!"

Liam growled. She couldn't possibly be.

Zoey accepted Serenity's help. That didn't stop her from being confused though. That's whenever it hit her. They just got back from the hospital and she's a total bitch for doing that.

"No hard feelings okay. I'm sure it was just the hormones," Serenity smiled. The girl in front of her was carrying new life. She's absolutely amazed.

"Go to the clinic to get checked out," Liam calmed down and massaged his temples.

"I'm fine. Just a few bruises."

"That was an order," he looked up and met glaze.

"On my way right now," she sighed and began to walk past him to leave the room.

Before she could fully leave Liam grabbed her forearm, "and congratulations."

Congratulations to the class of 2021! We made it.
