"Bye dad!" I hugged him with all my might.

"Bye sweet pea. I'll be back as soon as I can. Be nice to be nice while I'm gone," I nod my head and let go as he gets in his truck.

Ten minutes later he's gone and Alice and I are sitting awkwardly at the kitchen table, "school," she said.

"School? Oh yah school!" I ran upstairs the awkward conversation long forgotten.

Once inside my room I strip and hop in the shower washing down. Turning off the water I get out of the shower and walk into my closet wrapped in towels. Drying off I put under clothes on grab a grey tank top, Nike jacket, blue washed jeans, and my worn white Nike shoes.

Throwing mya hair into a messy bun I add a quick coat of mascara and some lip gloss then I'm out the door with phone and keys in hand, walking towards the front door.

"Dinners at six, be home before then please," Alice told me as I reached the front door. I nodded then left the house.

The car ride to school was a quiet one full of thought. What am I going to do? Kept on going through my mind along with, do I really want children? Things were already complicated themselves and it was only the first week back after thanksgiving break. I sighed and got out of my parked car, then grabbed my backpack from the back seat.

Treading my way inside I was undisturbed, something that was quite unusual now a days. The halls were already crowded as I pushed my way through trying to get to my locker, and when I did a group of freshman girls blocked my way. Rolling my eyes I pushed through then not in the mood. They fussed and uttered a few  nasty 'excuse you' before they walked away.

Opening my locker I threw my stuff inside, slamming my locker I was startled by a person that was hiding behind my locker. He immediately brought a smile to my face. Jonathan engulfed me a hug and kissed my forehead. Time seemed to stop as he did so.

"Hello beautiful," I smiled as he complimented me.

"Ew get a room little brother," behind him stood Audrey, Leah, and the twins. His usual gang. I smiled at Audrey's remark.

Jonathan shot daggers at his sister, "whenever you find your ma-special person, give me call. I can pull out the old baby photos."

Audrey frowned. I looked up at Jonathan and he was looking down at me with a distant expression. Giving him a questioning look he shook his head and the bell rang, "come on, I'll walk you to class."

We started off in the direction of homeroom only to get stopped by the principal, "Evangeline, could you come here for a second?" I removed Jonathan's arm from my shoulders and walked over to the principal.

"Yes, Mr. Gardunio?"

"I have a job for you since you like to show new students around would you show Mister Kale around. He just moved here from California, and needs a guide. Oh and that wasn't a question," before I had time to object the principal left the new student with me. He had jet black hair that went down to his shoulders, and green eyes, he was all in all good looking.

I shook my head banishing the bad thoughts, "so I suppose your Evangeline, a beautiful name for a beautiful girl," a sound was heard from behind me and Jonathan came to my rescue.

"Eva-" he was cut off by the new student.

"Evangeline would you start showing me to my classes, I think that's the tarty bell that just rang," I nod.

"I'll see y'all at lunch?" I got on. My tippy toes and kissed Jonathan on the cheek then asked the new student who's name was Jonna schedule.

"And this is the library," I concluded my tour after showing him all of his class and the cafeteria along with the library, only to finish ten minutes before the bell rang for lunch.

"What a nice school,"he smirked, "do you like to read?"

I nod, "what's your favorite genre?" The questions continued.

"Fantasy, dystopia, and anything classic," I listed off my favorite.

"Fantasy, like vampire and werewolves?" I nod, "do you believe in that stuff?" I shake my head.

"I know it's all make believe. Vampires, werewolves, fairies, no such thing."

"So, your not a believer," I shook my head.

"Far from it actually," we were walking side by side the he turned to face me.

"What if it were all real? The fantasy world. What if it wasn't actually make believe? What if it was just hidden from humans?" I gave him a questioning look and laughed.

"Your pulling my strings," he took a step closer to me, "there's no such thing."

"But Lina, what if there was? What if I could show you?" Now I know he is crazy. He took a step closer and I backed up.

"Look Jonna, I don't know you and I'm sure your a nice guy and all, but your talking crazy," he shook his head and chuckled taking a step closer to me.

"You may not know me, but I know you. I was going to let you get to know me, but your little guard dog isn't going to let that happen once they get a whiff of what I am. So, I'm just gonna let it all out. Everything you've ever known to be fake, or make believe is real Evangeline," I shook my head.

"Now I know your crazy. Why does the principal always make me show around the crazy ones?" Jonna took a step closer and I attempted to step back only to hit a wall.

"What if I could show you? Would you believe then?" I shook my head. He rolled his eyes, "Well I'm going to show you anyway," he grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me out of the library with me protesting behind him.

The bell for lunch rang and his grip around my wrist tightened as he cursed under his breath. We ducked down an empty hallway, "please don't kill me. I'll do anything you, just don't kill me!" Tears were threatening to spill.

"I don't want to kill you. I just want to make you believe," we walked outside and he stopped the turned to look at me.

"Do you have a car?" I nod, "let me see your keys," I shook my head.

"They're inside my backpack. It's in my locker," he sighed.

"Then we'll do this the hard way," he pulled me to him and soon I was on his back. It all happened so very fast, "hang on." Was all I heard before the wind was whipping all around and my hair started to fall out of my bun. I tried to pry open my eyes but they refused to open.

Then everything went still and I was put back down on the ground. Opening my eyes I looked around, "where are we?"

"The woods, I want to show you," omg omg omg!

"How did we get here? Omg, I'm going to die out here! How did we get here?" He rolled his eyes.

"You already said that," I looked at him.

"I did?" He nods his head.

"Shut up for a second and let me show you your make believe," and I did in fact shut up. He back up and started to strip. I shielded my eyes.

"Oh god your going to rape me!" He chuckled then something started to happen. Bones started to crack out of place and I opened my eyes. Jonna started to look less like Jonna and more like a dog. Not believing my eyes I stood frozen.

Then the world went black.
