"Turn in your papers as you leave!" The teacher screeched as the bell rang. I sighed packed up my stuff and walked out the classroom with Leah in tow.

"You still haven't told me about your date with Jonathan and it's Tuesday! Eva you can't avoid me forever," I rolled my eyes.

"But I can sure try!" I raced down the hall only to run into the devil himself.

"Slow down there speedy," I smiled up at him. Many people starred at us as they passed a thing I had gotten use to.

"Hey," I breathed out. Leah came running behind us. Jonathan slug his arm around my shoulders and Leah looked as if she knew something I didn't.

"Hey," I starred up into his grey orbs as we walked feeling the sparks as his arm laid slung around my shoulders, "where are you off to in a rush?"

He asked. I sighed as I remembered that I had to go strait home. Orders from none other than my dad, "home. My dad wants to have dinner and told me to go strait home after school."

"Better get going then, don't wanna make him mad," I adjust my backpack on my shoulder and sigh.

"I guess."

"See you tomorrow then," he squeezed my shoulder then we parted ways in the parking lot. How I hated to see him go. Shrugging it off I go to my Jeep and start my journey home.

"Lina, dear, Alice and I have decided that we're all gonna go out to have dinner. Isn't that splendid!" My expression said otherwise. I would rather eat here due to the fact that if we go out I have to actually look nice.

"Umm, that's great."

"I know right, get dressed we'll leave in two hours," I sighed as he walked out my room and shut the door picking up my phone I text Jonathan.

Me: we're going out 4 dinner :(

Putting my phone back on my night stand I stand up and start searching my closet. Grabbing my favorite light pink velvet long sleeve shirt and some pants I walk back out at the sound of my phone buzzing.

Public places with my farther and his "girlfriend" doesn't seem right.

I set my phone back down and go into my bathroom. In the bathroom I wash my face and brush my teeth. Public places have people. People judge you. Walking back out the bathroom I check my phone.

Umm. . . I actually have no clue.

Throwing my phone on my bed I run downstairs to my dad, "Hey, where are we going?" I asked him.

"A Chinese restaurant called kimoto, why?" He looked up from his computer.

"Just wanted to know what to wear, that's all," he gave a look.

"You wondering what to wear? I know my little turtle, you don't care about clothes, you'd rather read a book than go shopping," I rolled my eyes.

"Dad I've changed since you've been gone. Im going to go finish getting dressed," I ran back upstairs, grabbing my phone off the bed I see another message.

Setting my phone on my night stand I strip and put on the new change of clothes. Then I decide to put on a bit of makeup using my white chocolate two faced palette that ever so gracefully sits in my drawer. Doing a simple eye shadow look I go ahead and curl my eyelashes, and add some mascara to them along with a winged eyeliner using my brand new white liquid.

Feeling accomplished with what I've done so far I fill in my eye brows and color my lips a nude pink. I smile at myself in the mirror and grabbed my phone from the night stand.

Reading the time stamp I see Jonathan read it twenty minutes ago. I have been left on read. I also look at the time with an extra thirty minutes to spare I decide to do my hair.

"Lina! Let's go," I add the finishing touches to my look then run downstairs phone and car keys in hand

"I'm here," my dad and Alice wait at the door. My dad nods his head and we go out to his car, "can I drive my car?"

"I thought we could save some gas and car pull?" I shook my head.

"I really don't mind driving."

"Ok fine, you know where it's at?" I nod and walk to my car that's parked in the street. I start my car just as dad pulls out the driveway.

"So Lina, hows your senior year?" Alice asked trying to start up a conversation.

"Good," I said taking a sip of my coke then my eyes go back to the menu that's in front of me.

"Lina likes to read, don't you turtle?" I scrunched my noses as he called me by my nickname in public.

"Dad, please reframe from calling me turtle in public, but yes I love to read," dad gives a fake look of hurt.

"Are you all ready for me to take your order?" A waitress comes at last to take our order.

"Yes," I answered. I'm starved, "I want the fried rice with grilled and fried shrimp."

Placing my order I let Alice and dad order, while I look down at my phone. Still no text from Jonathan. Sighing I put down my phone and listen to Alice and my dad talk about nonsense.

Twenty minutes later our food is set in front of us. Smelling it made my mouth drool. I immediately dig in.

"Lina, what do you like to read," Alice attempts to start a conversation with me.

"Romance, tragic, really anything that has words," I admit I'm a big nerd. Bringing my attention to a big group of people walking in I feel a sense of familiarity. Then I see his eyes, and smile.

He had this planned all along. I also see Audrey, Leah, and the twins. They all walk past my table and I look up at them as they all stop in front of the table.

"Eva! What a coincidence that your here to! What are you doing?" My smile widens as Audrey states the obvious.

"Audrey, Leah, what are y'all doing here?" I answered their question with a question. Standing up I hug the two girls.

"Well Jonathan offered to paid if he got to pick the place," I looked over at Jonathan as all eyes were on he look side to side and the behind him. Then put his arms up in surrender.

"I'm guilty," he smirked and I shook my head, "want to join us?" He asked looking at my dad.

I looked over to him to as if asking if I could, "go ahead," I jumped up taking my plate with me and went to go sit with them but not before saying 'thank you love you!'.

"You saved me," everyone sat down at one table.

"I guess you could call me a life saver," I rolled my eyes, "that deserves a kiss."

My eyes widened as everyone at the table stared at us, a few unfamiliar people caught my eye. I look back over to my dads table to see it empty. They must've taken it to go.

"So, how about that kiss?" I looked back at Jonathan as everyone waited for my response.

"Ok," Jonathan looked surprised as I smashed my lips to his. Our lips moved in sync, we pulled apart a minute later when the lady came to take their order.

I blushed red. That was the most spontaneous thing I have ever done in public. Once the lady took their order and set down their drinks Jonathan looked at me and I did one more spontaneous thing, "dose this mean I'm your girlfriend?"

He smirked, "you've been mine since the very beginning," and with that he threw his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer.
