Jeongkook, Jimin, And Yoongi entered school. The weekend had gone by too fast.

Jimin was holding Yoongi, so he wouldn't fall. Just for safety.

"I can't believe you. Your such an asshole Jeongkook. How the hell can you already loose Taehyung's trust?"

Jimin was pissed off and Yoongi was disappointed.

"Hey, it's not my fault that my parents can't accept my sexuality."

Jeongkook took off, Jimin was hesitating to run after him but was stopped by Yoongi.

"Don't babe. Let him go."

Jeongkook was sitting on the old roof of the building. After lots of comments in the halls about him and Taehyung dating, he had enough and went up where he could do whatever he pleased.

He was upset at Taehyung for not understanding or listening to him, yet at the same time he felt guilty himself.

Jeongkook puffed a cloud of smoke from his cigarette and turned at the sound of heavy boots.

It was the one and only Jung-Hyun. His brother.

The two were sitting down, not saying much at first.

"I hear that you and Taehyung are in a fight already. That's messed up man."
"It wasn't my fault. Mom and dad would hate me if I told them straight up that I'm dating a guy."

Jung-Hyun shifted his body, fully facing his brother.

"You gotta get your path straight buddy. I know the way you look at Taehyung, you adore him with all your heart. You need to get this worked out because you'll become miserable without him. Fuck mom and dad, who cares what they think?"
"What's it to you anyways?"
"Your my brother and I care. That's what."
"Screw this shit, I'm out."

Jeongkook meant what he said. He departed from his spot and entered the school building.

Jeongkook stopped by his locker to grab something, when he closed his locker he saw the face of a girl. It was IU.

"I'm sorry about Taehyung..."

Jeongkook was flustered.

"You Know? Wait, I guess everybody knows."
"Indeed. Mind if I walk with you to class? You have English right?"
"Yeah."
"Well I have math. Walk me there."
"Uhh... Sure."

Jeongkook and IU walked the hallways down to their classes.

Jeongkook and IU were good friends. Jeongkook used to feel something for her, but it was always mixed emotions as she's been on and off with her boyfriend.

They stopped in the corridor between math and English.

"Thanks for walking with me. You doing anything after school?"
"Not that I know of."
"Great! Why don't we race to the ice cream shop and catch up?"

Jeongkook processed the idea. He always loved a little bit of friendly competition.

"I don't see why not."

IU Smiled "Perfect."

Jeongkook was lost in her last words for then he had seen Taehyung walk past him with Lina and some guy at their school who Jeongkook never liked.

IU rubbed her friends back.

"You two will sort it out."

Jeongkook watched as she entered her class. He waited an extra twenty minutes in the hallway, writing down jot notes as to how he could approach Taehyung.

He hadn't had a single thought, so he busted open the door to his class and walked over to a younger kid sitting in his everyday seat. It was the Moron from earlier with Taehyung.

"Hey idiot. Get out of my seat."

The kid stood up, his name was G-ang.
Nobody knew his real name, as he never spoke of himself.

He belongs in a gang from around town. Jeongkook was surprised that a jerk like G-ang was with innocent Taehyung.

"I don't take orders from losers."
"Let's not start this Alright?"

Jeongkook attempted to peacefully sit in his seat, he couldn't do so since he was violently pushed against the wall.

The teacher ran over, screaming at them to stop. But they didn't.

"Seems like Taehyungie is mad at you."
"Don't call him that."
"I call him whatever I want."

Jeongkook was now boiling.

"Watch your mouth.... And your virginity."

Jeongkook smirked as he was slapped across the face.

Jeongkook now sat outside the school building, after being freed from the office who still held G-ang. Jeongkook was glad that he didn't get any detention or suspension.

He felt somebody ruffling his hair.
It was IU.

"Race you."
"Be ready to loose."

The two took off like lighting. Jeongkook was in pain from the fight, but his mind wasn't focused on that as he ran with IU all the way to the ice cream shop.

After minutes of running, they finally managed to reach the ice cream shop.

Who won?
Nobody.
It was a tie.

"Man IU, I didn't think you could-"
"Run so fast?"
"Yeah."

They both ordered a vanilla, chocolate, strawberry sundae. They were sitting down at one of the picnic tables.

"If you don't mind me asking.... How did Taehyung get mad at you?"
"I didn't tell me parents we were dating...... They always told me not to date a guy but Taehyung is my life."
"It's easy to tell that you have a major thing for him."

Jeongkook sighed as he took a bite out of his sundae.

"I think I'll go and see him. Even if he doesn't want to talk....."
"You should do that, he needs you too.."

Jeongkook needed to get Taehyung off his mind for a bit, so he changed the topic.

"How's you and your boyfriend?"
"Good I guess... He's gone away on a business trip since he's graduating this year"
"I see"

It was silent for awhile. Both didn't have much to say since they both hadn't talked in a long time.
It was a little odd and a little awkward at first.

"Wanna walk before we split?"

Jeongkook figured they should at least do something.

"Sure."

Finishing their sundaes, they made their way down the walking trail in the woods. They stopped by a bench and sat down.

"It was nice catching up."

Jeongkook was distracted by a familiar presence. It was Taehyung.

But he wasn't alone...

Jeongkook tapped IU, "IU... Look.."

She turned her head and spotted Taehyung with a couple of guys.

Jeongkook snarled "G-ang.."

Taehyung turned around, he and Jeongkook made eye contact which was nothing but awkwardness.

Taehyung frowned when he saw Jeongkook with a girl, he turned away and started flirting with G-ang and the others. He was obviously trying to make Jeongkook jealous, and it worked.

"That gangster shouldn't be around Taehyung..."

Jeongkook stood up and walked over to them, IU followed.

G-ang, Taehyung, and the other guys faced the other two that approached them.

"Hey Taehyung look, it's your ex boyfriend."
"Why the fuck are you hanging out with Taehyung? Your too much for him!"

Taehyung let himself smile out happily at Jeongkook.

"I think G-ang is great Jeongkook. Do you have a problem with me hanging out with him?"

G-ang wrapped his arm around Taehyung's waist.

IU spoke up, "Ya'll need to calm down. Taehyung, you know very well that G-ang and his so-called-gang are not safe to be around."
"Well, Jeongkook has no say in this. I know that he was apart of the gang at one point in his life."

Jeongkook realized that G-ang probably told Taehyung everything, and that would've made their situation between the two 'Ex' couple worse.

Jeongkook grabbed Taehyung's wrist and started pulling him to a place where they could talk in private. IU called out "I'll see you later Jeongkook!"

"Guess your boyfriend left you."

IU had no interest in the others, she turned him down.

"Don't even try your dumb flirtatious skills, your not as attractive as you think."

She walked off, causing the others to burst out in laughter, everyone besides G-ang.

Jeongkook was now standing face-to-face with Taehyung.

"Let me go."
"Taehyung, that man is the worst person you could ever hang out with"
"At least he's better than you"
"I couldn't tell my parents yet Tae! That's not my fault!"
"Don't call me Tae."

Taehyung turned around and headed home. Jeongkook was fed up.

Jeongkook decided to go to Taehyung's and talk to him sternly. It was the only thing he could do...
