-Hoseok's View-

I stood in Taehyung's room as I watched him adjust his tie.

I was excited that he was going out. He's never had a huge interest in dating so I'm glad that he's taking a liking to Jeongkook.

He added a bit more cream to his hair to make it nice and silky.

He looked so grown up. I was concerned about one thing...

The Nightmare

When he woke up screaming like that last night, I instantly knew what he dreamt of.

I was tensed at the thought of him having those same memories again when he's out at dinner with Jeongkook.

I had to put my dependence on Jeongkook that he would protect Taehyung if anything were to happen.

Taehyung turned to me. His cheeks were flushed red, his hair slicked back, his flawless suit, and his adorable Taehyungie smile.

"So Hyung... How do I look?"
"Taehyung-Ah, your so grown up..."
"Hehe. Thanks Hyung."
"I'm not use to it, but man am I ever proud of you Tae."

Taehyung giggled at my astonishment.

He grew up so well.

-Jeongkook's View-

I was outside Taehyung's house. I beeped the horn and was dazzled when I saw him.

Who knew that Taehyung looked dashingly attractive in suits.

I got out of the car and gracefully walked over to him and took his hand, helping him down the steps of the front porch.

Taehyung was next to me, clinging onto my arm. I smiled.

"Take good care of my brother Jeongkook! If he comes back with a single scar I'll kill you!"

Me and Taehyung laughed. I had to say, I was honoured that Hoseok trusted me so much with Taehyung. Hoseok and Taehyung only have each other, that's it.

I opened the door to my car to let Taehyung in first.

We both climbed in with the doors shut and our seatbelts fastened.

"You ready Taehyung?"
He nodded.

I zoomed off and we were headed off for our date.

Moments later we were sitting in the restaurant in a booth. Tonight was gonna be special.

-Third Person View-

Taehyung and Jeongkook ordered their meals and they were starving.

Taehyung chomped down his food, then he started to talk.

"Thank you for taking me out Jeongkook.... I know that with Yoongi it's hard... He's your best friend, I get it..."

Jeongkook took ahold of Taehyung's hand who was now turning a bright pink.

"I wouldn't think of going out with anybody else. Your perfect for me and your all I need."

Taehyung Smiled At those words. Jeongkook made him feel special, loved, a different feeling that not even Hoseok could give.

They finished their meals and talked for awhile.

"So Jeongkook, where's this special place that your taking us?"
"Well if I told you then it wouldn't be so special."

Jeongkook smirked "It's not far at all, we can walk. It'll be more satisfying."

They got up out of their booth but Taehyung noticed a certain waitress and froze.

It looked so much like his father. The waitress turned towards him. Taehyung then realized it wasn't his father, but that's when the flashbacks started.

-Flashback-

"I don't want to see you here ever again."

Hoseok and Taehyung stood outside the front door of their original house. But it wasn't home anymore. It was hell.

They searched and searched and searched for an apartment.

Those cold nights, with no warmth. No blankets, no heat, only the body-warmth he felt from his brother.

Huddling every night in the dark hours.
It was torture to them both.

-Flashback End-

Taehyung had stumbled forward, crashing into the table and flinging backwards. He landed in the arms of Jeongkook who caught him. Luckily.

"Hyung are you okay?"
"Y-Yes Jeongkook.... I'm f-fine."
"Maybe I should take you-"
"No. Let's get out of here. I just got up to fast, that's all. I get dizzy easily."

Yes, dizzy with flashbacks.

Taehyung and Jeongkook walked down behind the restaurant. It was about a 10 minute walk but they reached their destination.

Down by the shores there laid a dock. The setting sun shimmered across the lake, giving a remarkable reflection across the acres and acres of water.

The two were standing at the end of the dock, hand in hand they watched the sun set as it slowly disappeared behind the mountains, behind the great sea.

"Jeongkook... You've put in so much effort to become better.. To show me your true self... And you have..."

They were now facing each other, still keeping a tight grasp of each other's hand.

"I want to be the best for you Tae, and only you."

Gazing into each other's eyes, they saw the future.

Their life together.

The sparks that lit up in their eyes like lanterns, the tight grip that they have on each other, not ever wanting to let go... The love that they had for one another was remarkable.

"Tae.."
"Mmh?"

Jeongkook had leaned in.

Their lips were tightly locked together, Taehyung's arms wrapped around Jeongkook's neck. Carefully, Jeongkook rested his hands on Taehyung's thighs.

They never moved for minutes which seemed like hours in heaven.

Their lips were in sync, their tongues explored each other's mouth, their feelings grew.

They stood on that dock for as long as their hearts could take it.

Eventually, they had stopped to take a breath. Their foreheads pressed together and the sound of heavy breathing filled their bodies.

After having that romantic moment on the dock, Taehyung had invited Jeongkook over.

Now they were both laid down in Taehyung's bedroom with the tv on low.

Taehyung was resting on Jeongkook's chest as they cuddled and watched the shows that came on one after the other on tv.

"Kookie.... I-"

Taehyung didn't have a chance to finish his sentence as Hoseok had suddenly opened the door.

Jeongkook looked over at Hoseok and talked sarcastically "Do you mind? I'm trying to cuddle my boyfriend here."

Taehyung turned his gaze over to Jeongkook "B-Boyfriend?"

"I mean, that's if you want to.. You know... Date."

Taehyung Smiled And huddled closer to Jeongkook "I couldn't ask for anything better."

Hoseok grinned and kissed Taehyung's head before exiting the room.

"Goodnight you two."
"Goodnight"
"Bye."

Jeongkook turned to his side to face Taehyung who was biting his lip, trying not to scream from excitement now that the two were dating.

"Jeongkook... Do you promise to never let me go? To never leave me? To always trust me and keep faith in me?"
"Of course Tae."

Taehyung gave his lover a quick peck on his lips before pulling the blankets over him and Jeongkook.

"Sweet Dreams Jeongkook."
"Sweet Dreams Taehyung."

Awwww, what a happy ending!

Taekook is finally together!
