Back

Taehyung pranced through the doors of the school, his hand securely locked with Jeongkook's as his other arm was rested over on top of one of his crutches. It was Taehyung's first day back to school, and as excited as he was, he was also down right petrified. Jeongkook was keeping true to his word of always protecting Taehyung, he was never letting his love out of his reach again.

After the incident with the gang, Taehyung was now being protected by the people around him. Wherever Taehyung went, Jeongkook was going too. Classes, the office, outside, out in the hallways, by his locker, even the bathroom. Jeongkook wasn't risking it.

The two were now outside the classroom that was suppose to be Taehyung's for the morning. Taehyung was resting his back against the wall in a small corner with the door to his classroom close by. Jeongkook never let go of his hands, even in this position, and he never took his eyes off of Taehyung either.

"I should be getting to class..." Jeongkook huffed with sorrow.
"Let me come with you."

Taehyung shook his head, Jeongkook received the message, but refused to accept the fact that he would have to leave Taehyung alone.

"You have to trust me."
"I trust you Tae, but I can't trust other people."
"You have to let me go."
"You know that ain't happening Tae"
Said Jeongkook with a sigh, causing Taehyung to retract their hands and instead, place his on the younger's chest. Jeongkook and Taehyung reposed their foreheads against each other's, staring into their lover's eyes.

"I'll be perfectly fine... Okay?"
"Okay Taehyung.."

Taehyung and Jeongkook separated as Taehyung grabbed his one crutch and hopped his way to class. Before entering through the door, he called out "Jeongkook!" The younger flung around and smiled when Taehyung said "I love you."

"I love you too Tae.."
"Now get going to class!" Jeongkook obeyed and left Taehyung to be by himself. When Taehyung sat down at his seat, he got organized and had everything laid out on the surface of his desk.

Taehyung didn't raise his hand, he only jotted down notes from class. He still wasn't in the best state and his participation level was very low. Halfway through class, the door swung open. Taehyung turned his head and cursed under his breath when he saw the face that had rudely interrupted his learning time.

The person strolled over to Taehyung, knocking every single piece of paper onto the floor, along with a loud slam of their hands against the wooden desk once the area was clear. Taehyung looked up and snarled as everyone turned around to see the commotion.

"What's your problem?" yelled Taehyung.
"You."

The person that had to make Taehyung feel miserable, was that one person he wasn't wanting to meet with.

Jackson.

The teacher in the room walked over, he was a fairly new teacher, his name was Jinyoung. He cleared his throat and deadly stared at Taehyung and Jackson. "Is there a problem?"

Jackson removed his hands from the table and smiled innocently.

"No Sir, I just came to get Taehyung. Mind if we have a chat?"
Jinyoung grumbled, he raised his hands and made his way back to the front of the room.
"Make it quick."

Jackson grabbed one of Taehyung's hands, slowly leading him out of the classroom since Taehyung had his other hand tightly gripped onto his crutch.

Once they were outside the classroom and the door was shut, Jackson pushed Taehyung into the corner, the same corner that Taehyung and Jeongkook were have their little moment in.

Taehyung narrowed his eyes,
"What do you want Jackson?"
He grinned as he placed one hand on one side of Taehyung, nearly locking him in the corner.

"I must admit, I'm rather shocked that you stepped foot back in this building."

"Well, I wouldn't stay away forever."

Jackson leaned closer which made Taehyung very uncomfortable.
"You shouldn't have come back... Big mistake TaeTae..."

Jackson bent down and placed a single mark on Taehyung's neck. Taehyung flinched and tried his best to push Jackson away, but he hadn't regained his entire strength, so he failed to make a break away.

To Taehyung's luck, his hearty hero came to his rescue.
"Step back and get the hell away from him." When Jackson turned, he chuckled. "My oh my... Look who it is!"

Jeongkook approached Jackson and heavily dragged him a few feet away from Taehyung who was rubbing his neck from the painful bite that was given by Jackson.

"You have no privilege to call Taehyung by his nickname or get your needy body all over him." Jeongkook sent lasers at Jackson who watched with a smirk.

Jeongkook sighed as he jogged towards Taehyung. Jeongkook wrapped Taehyung in his arms, their heads resting on each other's shoulder.

"Are you safe baby?"
"Yeah I'm alright. Besides that nasty bite, I think I'm good.."

The two retreated from each other and Taehyung continued to stay hidden behind Jeongkook.

"Beat it Jackson."
"Aww, but I was having SO much fun."
"Now."
"Whatever you say, but I'd keep my eyes on TaeTae if I were you."

Jackson turned with a smile and headed towards the door to the back of school. Jeongkook hissed "STOP USING HIS NICKNAME!"

Taehyung softly tugged on Jeongkook's sweater, regaining his attention once more.

"I don't wanna go back to class..."
Jeongkook sighed as he stroked the side of Taehyung's cheek.

"I've missed a lot of school and I'm afraid of failing... What class do you have next?"

Taehyung shrugged, his lips curving into a pout when Jeongkook turned his focus to his phone.

"I'm calling Jimin."

Short chapter, but I hope it's good so far.
