Tsunade sat back in her chair, sighing to herself after finally finishing reading and checking through the endless piles of paperwork. It had taken her hours and hours and finally, she could relax...that is until the next set of papers came in. She looked up at the ceiling pouting slightly. No matter how dull the paper work had been, she'd always had a certain someone on her mind.

'Emi Funkai,' she said out loud. 'I've heard that name before,'

Tsunade sat up and got to her feet, quickly pacing across the room towards the door. She rushed down the the corridor until she reached the locked door which held all the Clans, families of past and present who lived in Konoha. All important records, some top secret. Tsunade fished the key from her pocket and unlocked the door and slipped inside. She flicked on the lights and closed the door behind her. She hurried towards the filing cabenits and searched for the "F" drawer.

She pulled the drawer opened and traced her fingers along the family names begining with "F". Going over and over, she tore through all the files. Finally, she gave up but as she was about to close the drawer, she noticed a red "F" peeking out from underneath the rest of the files. She quikly snatched it up and read the name.

'Funkai,' she breathed. She slamed the drawer shut and sat down on the floor and began reading the files.

The Funkai family were a wealthy but small clan that once lived in Konoha. The Funkai family were responsible for producing promising Shinobi and were very skilled in both Ninjutsu and in Taijutsu. The famous clan were said to have left Konoha due to the constant fighting between the Uchiha and Senju clans. Often the Funkai's were drawn into the arguments since they were distantly related to the Uchiha clan. On the Funkai clan leaving Konoha, they were never heard of again and all traces of their skillful Ninjutsu and Taijutsu have been forever lost. Certain members of the Funkai clan have been said to return to Konoha one day and excell in their own kekkai genkai, Rivival Soul, where they take the form of the clan's former clan mark, a wolf-like dog.

Tsunade stopped reading the clan's history, she knew enough already, she began looking at the names of the members of the Funkai clan. No names she really regocnised, the clan's leaders were vaugely farmiliar but they were of no importance to her. Tsunade jumped up and rushed back to her office. She opened a drawer on the side of her desk and took out the names of all the ANBU agents in Konoha with the surname beggining with "F". Tsunades scanned down the first page before flicking through the others, her eyes wide. She slowly put down the papers and a smile crept onto her face.

'So that's it,' she sighed to herself, sitting down and looked out of the window over her village.
