My maid girlfriend?!

It had stopped raining...

It wasn't dawn yet. The gray clouds had dissipated, leaving the constellations and pale blue moon out in the twilight sky.

A gentle wind reverberated off the window causing her ears to twitch to the sound before her adorable kitten orbs fluttered open. She sat up with a yawning stretch, raising one arm to the ceiling while using her other arm to hold up the blanket to her bosom. She turned her head to the window with a curious tilt, as her undone locks of hair had a sleepy sway.

"Ara, it stopped raining..?"

Momo went to wake Izuku, placing her hand on his shoulder, nudging him. "Master, good morning..!" She whispered with an excited sigh. Despite having spent the night with him, she couldn't wait to spend even more time with him.

Izuku let out a sleepy groan before his eyes broke open in an infatuated haze. The moonlight had crept through the window and the first sight he saw when he woke up was her radiant face as her skin had an illuminated gleam from the moonlight. Her hair was down with the raven locks framing around her face, having a lunar shine.

He lifted his hand to the one on his shoulder, clasping it and giving it a slight squeeze. "Good morning... Ugh, it's still dark out." And his voice held some sleepiness, on the verge of passing back out as he closed his eyes again.

"I know but we do have school today... And to be honest, I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea if we're spotted leaving a place like this." She explained her concerns with a chirpy voice and grew a patient smile while she waited for his response.

Except it never came.

"Eh? He fell asleep! Master, wake up!" Momo's hand broke away from the one holding hers and began to playfully smack his chest to keep him awake. He caught the hand that was hitting him before pulling her into a cuddling embrace as they rolled around the bed, getting tangled in the sheets as he smothered her with sleepy smooches, nuzzling his nose over her neck. She giggled along to his actions as she relented, letting herself be the small spoon as she placed her arms over the ones wrapped around her.

"Okay, fine, a few more minutes..."

Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu were walking side by side through a pathway that was lined up with cherry blossom trees. The petals had a misty dew from last night's rain with the lingering droplets giving off a twinkling effect. There were still puddles that had yet to dry and the morning sky was growing brighter with the sun threatening to break over the horizon.

The crisp air was a startling contrast to the warm room they had just left. It was as if from leaving the love hotel, it had lost its allure as reality set back in. The both of them felt awkward and bashful in front of each other again, although despite them being too shy to say it outright, they were holding hands.

She was thinking about it and let her thoughts come out as a condensed breath. "The cherry blossom season is coming to an end, ne?"

"Hm, y-yeah, I guess it is huh?" He glanced around seeing that the trees weren't as lush as they were. It made him a bit sad, he didn't know why but Momo reminded him of cherry blossoms. Maybe it was because her blush always had that elegant pink, or how her hair would scatter with the wind, or maybe it was because of her fragile smile, that seemed to always be fleeting along with the season...

She leaned her shoulder against his as she gave his hand a faint squeeze. "It is," She confirmed for him and herself. She glanced at the trees and puddles they were passing, then shook her head as she closed her eyes with a small smile. She was thinking of the day when he asked her to make a wish. And here she was, holding his hand. She leaned her head against his, but just before she did that she gave him a tender peck on the cheek as she said,

"Thank you..."

"Eh? F-For what, Momo?"

"It's nothing, don't worry about it."

Izuku raised his eyebrow a bit confused as to what Momo was referring to but assumed it was about the cherry blossom season as that was what she started the conversation with so he just spoke his mind. "U-Um, well I hope next year the season will be just as memorable and beautiful as this year."

"Next year?!" She had pushed her head away from his as she turned her face to his with adoring eyes. Momo's hair was still down but after hearing what Izuku said, it caused her adorable Neko ears to magically pop out in excitement, having been spontaneously created by her quirk due to her subconscious neko-maid side being awakened by Master. "That's right, we have an entire year to look forward to it, don't we!?"

He could feel her intense eyes on him and it made him feel weird in a good way. He scratched his cheek as he glanced away from her direction, finding the courage to face her as he was speaking. "Y-Yeah, we do, and there's also other things to look forward to, right? Like the fireworks festival and-," At this point, he had turned his head to her and saw her face, "Eh? Momo when did you put on your Neko ears?"

"Neko ears?" Momo curiously tilted her head at his confused expression before feeling something on her head. Their hands broke apart so she could raise them up to touch what was on her head, "Eh? But I didn't bring them with me, wait but if that's true..." Her cheeks turned bright red as she came to the only rational conclusion. "I think they popped out from my quirk, Master!"

"Eh? Is that even possible?" He grew an amused smirk at Momo's mini-freak out wishing he had his notebook to write this down. The thing he thought was really cute, was despite her shock and embarrassment she still didn't take them off.

"I... I don't know! Maybe it was a subconscious manifestation?!" And then she tried to think of why she would create something like this when she wasn't working as a maid. And her thoughts naturally led to Master... 'Do I want to be his Neko?!'

And then she remembered the collar with a bell on it! 'Eeip! I can't wear that!'

"I wonder what your subconscious is trying to tell you." He pondered out loud from his constant curiosity of knowledge.

"Th-There's no reason! None at all! It must be because of working with the Pussycats. E-Exactly, that must be it!"

Izuku, being the dense Izuku that he was completely believed her. "Yeah, that makes sense, it would be hard not to think about cats working with them."

"Y-Yes that's right, and let's leave it at that!"

And they went back to holding hands as they walked along.

They had reached the train station, and were sitting next to each other on a bench. The early trains were about to arrive and Momo was going to use that to get home to get ready for school. Izuku was growing a pit in his stomach as the scheduled arrival time was approaching. He had wanted to ask Momo something for a while but still hadn't been able to muster the courage.

The echoing thudding of the train tracks were reaching their ears and he realized he was running out of time.

"Oh, looks like it's on time." Momo spoke as they stood, starting to head for the platform to wait.

"Er, yeah, I guess it is." Although he wished it could have taken a bit longer.

Izuku finally built the nerve to ask her but when he opened his voice, the train had come to a stop in front of them with a screech, drowning out his voice, and it went unheard.

The doors opened but not many people came out of it as it was still the early morning, and it left the train car desolate.

Reluctantly, she broke her hand away from his as she started to step inside. She wanted to give him a goodbye kiss but didn't have the nerve. Why was saying goodbye so hard, now?

"Well, I'll see you at school, Izuku." But her voice came out as a dejected sigh.

He let out a gasp as his eyes widened to the emotion in her voice. It suddenly gave him the courage to blurt it out.

"P-Please be my girlfriend!"

She was standing inside the train and he was on the platform. They were both staring at each other after he asked that. His heart was about to burst from his chest, they did have a newly found intimate relationship but neither of them had talked about it out of shyness, despite that they had both been craving to admit it out in the open. And now that he finally did speak about it, all they could do was stare at each other...

Her wide eyes were beginning to bubble up with a salty liquid as her lips quivered. She had wanted them to be able to talk about their growing relationship since yesterday but she felt it would upset the atmosphere, she had tried to talk about it while they were walking but then the Neko ear incident happened and she became too embarrassed to try again, and yet here he was, giving her the confidence she needed, like always.

She finally spoke her emotions as she grew an adorable pout. "I-Idiot! Of course, you're already my boyfriend! A-After everything that's happened between us, I expect you to take responsibility, M-Master!"

He saw past her infatuated insecure reaction, simply seeing her for who she was. His eyes grew enamored emerald as his lips broke into a small but meaningful grin. The doors were closing in between them as he simply spoke with nothing but joy, "You're my girlfriend?"

Her facade completely broke down as her pouting lips couldn't help but to pull into the same endearing smile he had as she let out a sniffling giggle, nodding to his question. She wiped her eyes and nose before placing her hand on the train door's window as it began to move. She tilted her head and twinkled her fingers in goodbye at him as he was left standing there on the platform, waving goodbye as well.

Neither of them could wait to see each other again at school.

'Master is my boyfriend..!'
