<Few days later>

<Mrs. Anderson was suspicious of Luna and Amanda now.. because she saw the cake that they cooked that day...and they still didn't have sugar..>

<Like the cruel person she was, Mrs. Anderson decided to investigate the bungalow when nobody was home>

<She snuck in and searched for something or the other...she didn't know herself what she was hoping to find...>

<She quickly looked through drawers and cupboards, shelfs and cabinets>

<She examined the whole bungalow sooner than expected.. except one room>

<She went the direction and twisted the door knob... but at the same moment, she heard the main door open...so she quickly hid near the staircase..>

"Finally,Home!"

"School wasn't fun today.."

"Yea..we had an unexpected test!!"

"I was confident...still am..but nope...NOT FAIR!"

<As the two girls cheerfully went upstairs...Mrs.Anderson took her cue to escape>

<She went home to find her daughter, Nicky, singing beautifully>

"Bravo Bravo! Honey! You were amazing!"

"Mom? Since when have you been here?"

"Not longer than few minutes..."

"Uh-ok.."

"Nicky...I need your help"

"With...?"

"Since Luna and Amanda are such good friends of yours... I want you to explore their house a bit...the room under the staircase to be precise"

"I- WHAT!! You want me to snoop into their house?!"

"Well..if that's the term given to it...then YES." Mrs. Anderson said loudly with a sudden cold and sharp voice... making Nicky flinch.

"And...the answer is...NO"

"Choose your words and decisions carefully.. your future may depend on it.. singing...pop star? Yeah?" 

<Nicky gulped and nodded>

"Good job dear"

<Hearing this..Nicky ran to her room, pushed the door shut, and started crying, hugging her knees>

<She kept on crying..until she fell asleep>
