{Nicky P.O.V}

It's been a while since I'm here at aunt Lily's place. I'm quite happy here. There were times when I even called her 'Mom'...it was a bit embarrassing but she assured me that I could call her whatever I feel comfortable with. So,now I call her Mom. I often go to the Neighborhood market to buy groceries and books. But I'll be honest, whenever at the store...I always feel a gaze set upon me. No matter how much I ignore it.

I woke up and got ready for breakfast. I was told that the newspaper wasn't delivered today so I had to go get it as Daisy and Eric were shopping for groceries,Mom (not her biological mom) was making Breakfast and dad(not her biological dad) was washing the car.

"Mom,can I get myself a sketchbook?" I asked

"Sure dear!" She replied with a smile.

I was off to the book store as the leftover newspapers are stored over there. Once I bought a few for everyone to read and was heading back when somebody grabbed my arm. I looked behind me to face the person and my day was ruined as soon as it started.

I saw Mom...My biological Mother. I was going to get out of her grip only when she tightened it. That's when I looked at her expression which was different. Her eyes were full of sadness and she looked desperate.

I shot her a cold glare.

"What do you want?" I asked with no interest

"I'm so sorry Nicky, I'm so sorry honey." She spoke. Her voice was different. It wasn't that evil, cunning voice anymore. It sounded hurt. She spoke very softly. Almost a whisper which I luckily heard. Or not really luckily.

"Sorry for what? Oh is it for making me snoop around my ONLY friends' house?" I laughed sarcastically.... slowly becoming louder and louder.

"Nicky please lower your volume.. people are staring." She begged. I nearly declined when I actually looked around and noticed how many people were staring at us.

I nodded.
She explained to me her fake apology which sounded like she had learnt it just like I learnt my poems for school presentations in earlier grades. I listened to her carefully and I really had tears in my eyes.

"Are you done?" I asked with the same bored tone hoping she wouldn't notice that I'm about to cry. I blinked back my tears.

"Yes..but one more thing." She made a "1" with her hand.

"Which is?"

"Smile dear" said her.

" Funny how you're the one who wiped it off my face. Don't expect me to make that mistake again." I fought back.

After that, I freed myself from her grip and immediately ran out of the place with the newspapers. I sat in the park.

I took one of the newspapers and wiped my tears since I didn't happen to have a paper towel or handkerchief at the moment.

I walked back to Mom's place.(NOT HER BIOLOGICAL MOM) But while I did...I still felt a gaze upon me. This time it was different.

{Wills'}

"Okay,so...That time... something got over me and I-- I m-may have c-cooked a r-recipe alone.." Luna confessed

"You W-what?! WHAT?!" Amanda stood up

"I-it's true."

"L-luna?"

"I didn't m-mean to! S-something took over me and...and..I just did it!"

"It's fine,Okay? It's fine.."

"Thank you Amanda." Luna smiled.

"So that's why you were behaving odd?" Amanda asked and Luna nodded in guilty.

They shared a hug.

"Shall we go to the park?" Luna asked as she stood up ask well.

"Sure!!"

{Park}
(Author: While Luna and Amanda were talking,Nicky and her Mother were 'talking' as well. This is the time when Nicky was crying in the park. Luna and Amanda sorted out quickly and came to the park just a few minutes before Nicky.)

The two girls walked for a while and sat down on a bench, eating sandwiches.

They were talking and laughing together.

"I didn't m-mean to! S-something took over me and...and..I just did it!" Amanda mocked Luna.

"Hey!!" Luna punched Amanda in the stomach in a joking manner.

Just then something...rather someone caught Amanda's eye.

Amanda took a second to figure out who the person was.

She stopped laughing followed by Luna who did the same and followed Amanda's gaze.

They saw Nicky on a nearby bench, crying.

They felt pity for her....

She left soon but those two didn't stop thinking about her till the sun set and the day ended.
