In the Forest with Hugo and Lena

Lena fluttered her eyes and awoke from what she was pretty sure was the 'stupify' charm.

She felt strange. She looked down at her torso. Ropes were holding her to a tree. Her arms were roped in, too. And wriggling did nothing. She noticed her wand and another resting on a tree stump near by. Out of reach, even with her feet free. She heard breathing.

She turned her neck to the right. Maddie's friend, Hugo Weasley, was tied up beside her on a neighboring trunk. "What happened?!" She demanded of him. He had to be behind this!

Hugo raised his brown eye brows that did not match his hair at all. "Excuse you?" He chuckled. "Mads said you were..." his voice trailed off. He didn't want to get Maddie in trouble with her sister.

Lena's glare only hardened. "What? What did she say about me? Huh?" She wriggled against the tree. "Does it really matter right now? We just so happen to be tied up, and you're worrying about what your twin said?" Hugo huffed.

Lena just asked another question. "Who in the name of Salazar would do this?" Hugo almost laughed at her reference to Slytherin. He decided he didn't like Lena's company very much. He had felt annoyed by her all night.

"Stop that." Lena commanded.

"Stop what?"

"Looking at me like that."

"Like what?"

"Oh, really? You think I don't know your flirting? You've been doing it all night, and you tried to sit with me on the train." Lena cocked her head to the side. Hugo was about to open his mouth and defend himself. But he quickly closed it, and just mumbled, "I'm not into you." I'm into Maddie, he finished mentally.

If he was into her on the train, he didn't know her yet. And, the few moments he did know her, she was different. She's definitely changed since she first came here.

Lena made 'psh'  sound with her mouth. "And your only friends with my sister so you can get in good with me."  This where Hugo corrected her, "I'm friends with your sister because she's..." what's the word? "She is awesome. Not for you, or anybody else. But because." Awesome?! He kicked himself inside, you've been crushing on her for two months and that's the best you can do? Awesome?

"Yeah, well, if you really knew her, you wouldn't want to be her friend." Lena  closed her mouth quickly. She looked as if she had a secret of some sort that almost came out. Which it did.

"I bet I would." Hugo told her.

Lena had her mouth open to say more, but her eyes caught something on the way over to Hugo that made her let out a scream. Hugo looked, too. It was a hooded figure. "Who are y-you?!" Hugo managed. No response. The figure pulled out a wand. It had light hands. The hand trembled as it held the wand at the two.

Hugo was crying, but trying to hide it, and Lena... well hysterics were an understatement. They were both terrified of what this thing would do to them.

It raised the wand higher and...
crumbled to the ground. The words "stupify" hung in the air.
