After finishing my exploration of the house, I headed back upstairs towards my room. Just as I was about to open the door, a sudden gunshot echoed through the air, causing me to freeze. I quickly crouched down to see what was happening. To my shock, I found a group of intruders causing chaos.
Swiftly, I instructed the maids who had just finished cleaning Jun's room next to mine to stay in my room and be safe. The others were already trying to fend off the attackers, but they seemed overwhelmed. Without hesitation, I retrieved the hidden gun I always kept in my room.
Stepping outside, I saw a Red Wolves member in trouble, an enemy closing in. My instincts kicked in, and I aimed and shot, taking down the attacker with precision. Observing that Hoshi, Jun, and The8 were struggling, I took charge, finishing off the remaining intruders. As I stood amid the aftermath, I smirked, whispering to myself, "Easy, I guess years of training were worth it."
I summoned the maids to help tend to the injured boys, and I assisted as well. Half of their maids focused on taking care of the injured, helping them to their rooms to rest. I even managed to carry one of them, realizing they were surprisingly heavy. Meanwhile, the other maids started cleaning up the mess left behind.
Finally, I gently laid one of the injured guys on his bed. He weakly grabbed my hand and said, "Thank you." I nodded in acknowledgment, realizing I hadn't met this particular member yet. Curiosity getting the better of me, I asked, "Hey, what's your name?" He introduced himself as Dino and expressed gratitude for my help. He also playfully mentioned that I seemed older than him, wondering if I were a noona (older sister in Korean). I chuckled and replied, "Let me introduce myself first, I'm Han Yuri! Nice to meet you. And yes, I am older than you, since you do look younger than me."
He thanked me once again, using the term "noona," which I found both cute and gentle. I nodded once more before heading out of the room. However, my path was not without another collision. I chuckled to myself, thinking, "Bumping into people really is my specialty."
I looked up to see the person I had bumped into was Hoshi, or my "boyfriend." I couldn't fathom why I had agreed to this arrangement. Our eyes met, and his sharp gaze sent shivers down my spine. I felt an inexplicable aura around him. He inquired, "Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" Unexpectedly, he seemed concerned. "I'm okay. Why? Are you perha--" I was cut off when he scoffed, "Pfft, worried? I'm not worried. It's because I'll be needing you for my plan!"
I sighed, rolling my eyes internally, and mumbled, "*sigh* Okay..." before retreating into my room. Focus, Yuri. Remember your purpose.
Yet, a part of me wished that he had been genuinely worried about me. Perhaps I do like him... No, no, no, I need to stay focused. I'm Han Yuri.
But my thoughts wandered to the past, a painful memory of my ex. Two years ago, he ended our relationship, using me for money and treating me like a disposable toy. That night, I saw him kissing someone else, my best friend, Kim Seolhyun. My heart was shattered, and the hurtful words he spat at me only deepened the wound.
Even though I was willing to forgive Seolhyun, she chose to leave after seeing me broken. Lost in these memories, I didn't notice that I was crying. Suddenly, I felt arms around me. Startled, I wiped away my tears and turned to see Hoshi. Maybe he isn't that bad after all?
"Are you okay?" he asked, his gaze penetrating into my eyes. "I'm okay," I replied, though my voice betrayed the obvious lie. He didn't buy it, stating, "You're lying. I don't want my girlfriend to lie to me, you know." His concern touched me, and I felt a mix of embarrassment and gratitude.
Unable to face him, I bolted downstairs, running aimlessly, my emotions overwhelming me. Raising my head, I found myself in a serene garden, surrounded by tranquility. I took a seat on a bench, attempting to stifle my sobs, but the flood of tears seemed unstoppable.
Suddenly, a familiar voice interrupted my turmoil, "The Garden is beautiful, isn't it?" I turned to see Hoshi, who continued, "This is Minghao's Garden. Our peaceful land." I looked up at him, lost in his eyes. He settled down beside me, and I snapped back to the present. "So... Princess, tell me, what's bothering you?" he asked gently.
My defenses crumbled, and I admitted, "*sigh* I have no choice really." I poured out my heart, revealing my past, my weaknesses, and my regrets. The weight on my chest seemed to ease as I shared my pain. How did he manage to make me feel this comfortable?
After my confession, I found solace in his embrace. As I closed my eyes, I let the warmth envelop me, and I slowly drifted into a peaceful sleep.

After the incident, I decided to check on Yuri. Coincidentally, she bumped into me, and I couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable reaction. I asked her if she was okay and if she got hurt, to which she replied, "I'm okay, why? Are you perhaps wor--" I didn't let her finish and playfully cut her off, saying, "Pfft, worried? I'm not worried. It's because I'll be needing you for my plan!" I gave her a light-hearted response, hiding the deeper emotions that were stirring within me. Was this love at first sight?
I've observed Yuri closely, even before we "kidnapped" her. She's not like the other girls we've dealt with, and I'm aware of her impressive training. There's something about her that's different and intriguing.
Yuri retreated to her room, and I followed her without her noticing. I found her lost in thoughts, tears slowly trickling down her cheeks. Was she crying? I couldn't fathom why she'd be shedding tears. Could it be because of me? I entered her room, wanting to comfort her and understand her troubles. Instinctively, I embraced her in a gentle hug.
"Are you okay?" I asked, concern lacing my words. She replied, "I'm okay.." but her voice gave away the lie. I wasn't willing to let her deceive me. "You're lying. I don't want my girlfriend to lie to me, you know," I said softly, hoping to encourage her to open up.
She dashed out of the room, fleeing from me. I followed her, our paths leading to a tranquil garden, known as Minghao's Garden. The serenity seemed to have a calming effect on her. As I approached her, I wanted to be there for her, to understand her pain. "So.. Princess.. tell me, what's bothering you?" I inquired gently, giving her the space to share.
She seemed uncertain, needing assurance that I genuinely wanted to know. I reassured her with a firm "yes." As she poured out her heart, her story unfolded before me. It was heart-wrenching to hear of the pain she had endured. She sobbed, and I pulled her into a comforting embrace, hoping to provide solace.
As she spoke, I couldn't help but feel empathy for her. Her past was marred by pain, just like mine. She finally settled into my arms, finding a sense of peace in the embrace. Slowly, her sobs subsided, and she drifted into a peaceful slumber.
Gazing at her sleeping form, I marveled at her calm beauty. A confession welled up within me, and I whispered softly, "I love you, I won't ever let you go..."
With utmost care, I lifted her in a bridal carry and laid her gently on her bed. The exhaustion of the day was catching up to me. It was already 10:10 pm, and I was immensely tired. I whispered "Good night" as my parting words and pressed a tender kiss to her forehead before settling down to sleep.
Indeed, it had been a long and eventful day...
