✶ Chapter 3 . .
Yuri pov
I was going to say something, but suddenly he injected me with something, and I fell asleep.
When I woke up, I found myself tied to a chair in a dark room. It was really scary, and I felt so afraid. Then, the door swung open, revealing a man who looked taller and older than me, but he was kind of good-looking, to be honest.
He greeted me with a "hey there, beauty~ are you ready?" I was shocked, and my mind was racing with questions. What did he mean? Was I kidnapped? What about my friends and family? What's going to happen now? These thoughts swirled in my head, and I felt like tears were coming.
"What's wrong? We haven't done anything yet," he said, chuckling.

I was just about to doze off when the Boss called me and asked me to check on the girl we were planning to kidnap.
Before I walked into the room, I went closer to the door to listen if she was saying anything or protesting. Surprisingly, there was no sound, which was unusual because whenever we kidnapped someone, they would usually protest or cry out. Her silence caught my attention, but I brushed it off.
I entered the room swiftly and said, "Hey there, beauty~ Are you ready?"
She seemed puzzled as she responded, "What's wrong? We haven't done anything yet..."
Seeing her, I chuckled to myself. She was undeniably attractive, but she was under the boss's control.

Yuri stood just inches away from the man, her questions spilling out, "Who are you? What do you want? What are you planning?"
The man's response was casual, "Hmm, which question should I tackle first? Too many..."
"Maybe I should start by introducing myself?" he continued. "Hi, My name is Moon Junhui, or Wen Junhui in Chinese. But you can call me Jun for short," he added with a wink.
So, he's Chinese too? "Okay," Yuri replied.
"As for your second and third question," Jun stated, "I'm not the one supposed to answer those."
Confusion and frustration swirled within Yuri. "Then who will answer them?!" she snapped, her anger palpable.
"Hey, calm down. Our boss will," he replied calmly, then promptly left before she could retort.
Ugh, what now? She had no clue who this "boss" was. Trying to figure a way out, she recalled having a small knife in her pocket. Quick thinking led her to free herself from the ropes that bound her hands and feet.
Ten minutes later...
Finally free, Yuri got up and rushed to the room's exit. But just as luck would have it, she bumped into someone blocking her path.
"Where do you think you're going, princess?" he sneered.
His voice sent shivers down her spine as he continued, "Unable to answer? Hm? Well, let me fill you in before you leave, babe," he added, his tone sultry.
His voice had a soothing quality, but she pushed that aside. Right now, she had more pressing matters. And did he just call me "babe"? That's absurd.
Before she could respond, he tightened his grip on her wrist, making her groan in pain. Why do I always find it hard to speak up? She wondered silently.
Suddenly, they were in another room, the door locked behind them. Yuri hoped he wouldn't do anything to her. He turned to her with a faint smile, leaving her puzzled. What's with the smile? She questioned herself.
He approached her, and she instinctively moved backward, her back against the wall. He pinned her there and asked, "Do you know why you're here, babe?" His cologne surrounded her, making it hard to think clearly. She tried to say something, but the words escaped her.
Then he gently placed her on the bed, saying, "Be my girlfriend, and you're free."
Yuri scoffed, "Do you really think I'd agree to that, you...?" But her words were interrupted yet again when he suddenly...

Yuri's pov
Kissed me...
I was taken aback by his sudden actions, but I remained focused when he asked, "Now, will you be my girlfriend? You don't really have a choice, anyway~ Live or not?" His tone was oddly sweet this time.
With a sigh, I acknowledged that he was right. I had no other option. Reluctantly, I said, "Fine. But can you do me a favor?" He seemed surprised by my question, and he replied, "Alright, you're free, but only within this place." It was pretty much what I expected, so I wasn't too surprised.
"But hold on... why do I need to be your girlfriend? And why me?" I inquired.
He explained, "I need a partner in crime to take down the Red Wolves." I thought to myself, Red Wolves... isn't that like a mafia gang? Which means I got kidnapped by a mafia gang too?
"Why? Is it for revenge?" I asked, trying to piece things together. He simply nodded, and though I wanted to ask more, like "Why do you need revenge?" or "Why pick me?" I decided to hold off on the questions. I was already bombarding him with too many.
He suddenly chuckled. Confused, I wondered if I had said something wrong. "Um, hehe, what's so funny?" I asked.
He responded, "Haha, nothing. You just look adorable when you're lost in thought like that, princess~"
"I'm Kwon Soonyoung, also known as Hoshi," he introduced himself. "You can call me whatever you'd like. And yes, you're now a part of the Blood Tigers." He added, "Let's discuss the plan again soon. I've got a lot more things to take care of." He finished with a smirk.

Hoshi pov
I was heading to the kitchen when I caught a sound, causing me to consider the possibility of an intruder. But no, it was her – my soon-to-be girlfriend, or perhaps wife? Haha. I tracked her with my eyes, musing on how she had managed to escape. It was quite suspicious.
Slowly, I made my way over to her, and she didn't notice me until we accidentally bumped into each other. Cute, I thought, before quickly scolding myself for thinking that way.
I inquired about her destination, my grip on her wrist stopping her from speaking. Pinning her against the wall, I posed a few questions, but she didn't seem to respond. I tried to read her eyes, wondering if she was scared, but her gaze indicated otherwise. I ended up carrying her to the bed, and we discussed various matters like the plan.
However, what surprised me was her reluctance when I asked, "Will you be my girlfriend?" She kept disagreeing, and after a bit of back-and-forth, I... well, I kissed her. What was I thinking? Planning all this and then kissing her? I berated myself inwardly.
After a while, I looked at her again, and she appeared to be in a daze, looking pure and beautiful. Yet, there was a strange aura about her that I couldn't quite define.
When she finally snapped out of her thoughts and glanced at me, I promptly left the room, my own thoughts racing.

So, I've been kidnapped by the Blood Tigers, huh? I mused to myself, recalling what Hoshi had revealed. Shaking it off, I debated whether I should explore the house for a bit. Eventually, I made up my mind, opened the door, and started to wander around. A delightful aroma of food wafted through the air, leading me towards its source. Lost in the fragrance, I closed my eyes and ended up bumping into someone. Not again, Yuri, I thought, exasperated.
"Ah!" I exclaimed, looking up to find the same guy who brought me here! My frustration started to rise, but I managed to keep my cool.
"Oops, sorry, I didn't see you there," he apologized.
"No worries, I'm fine. I should have been more careful," I replied, taking responsibility for my clumsiness. It was my fault, after all. The guy seemed oddly familiar... "Do we perhaps know each other?" I inquired.
His initial flustered reaction tipped me off that he was lying when he stammered, "N-no, you don't know me, and I don't... know you."
Though I could tell he was being dishonest, I decided to let it slide for now.
"I'm Minghao, by the way," he finally introduced himself, offering a small smile. Maybe he's not as bad as I thought.
"Nice to meet you, Minghao," I responded, my confusion growing as his name didn't ring a bell. My earlier assumption about recognizing him might have been off.
He seemed about to say something, but I quickly excused myself and hurried back upstairs.

As I was heading upstairs to my room, I collided with someone—Yuri. I quickly apologized and shared my name after she asked if I knew her. I hoped she might still recognize me, but I lied, saying I didn't know her. The truth is...
Yuri is my childhood best friend. But after the accident, I left her, and she didn't seem to remember. My last words to her were, "I love you, and I will come back..."
I was about to stop her from going further and confess that I had lied about not knowing her, but the door suddenly burst open, revealing...
The Red Wolves?
I was a fraction too late to take action, and a shot hit my leg, causing me to stumble and fall. The other members arrived just a bit later, asking, "What's happening here?" Jun's voice echoed.
Before I could respond, another shot rang out, hitting Jun in the abdomen. Worry surged through me as Hoshi began to retaliate, but their numbers were overwhelming.
Then, someone named ????, who had joined the scene, managed to swiftly eliminate half of the attackers. Unfortunately, he overlooked a threat approaching from behind, ready to shoot him.
I was about to shout a warning, but another gunshot echoed. To my shock, it wasn't the person about to shoot ????.
It was...
