Chapter 12||Ass Hat Abomination
Laying on my fluffy carpet, I stared up at my lilac ceiling, whilst trying to think of any logical reason why Victoria would be arm in arm with Kimberely Kent?
Of all people to pick? She picks the hobgoblin of humanity? The Electro of earth? The freaking ass hat abomination of the abyss.
So maybe I've been reading up on my brothers old comics a bit too much lately, sue me.
My mind is way too fried to care about my class A comic book addiction. My mind is way too fried to think of anything other than the assassination of Kimberely Kent.
I watch a lot of CSI, you'd be surprised what I've learnt over the years. I could probably knock off my whole family in broad daylight and make it look like a freak accident.
You can't assassinate her.
True, that would take a whole lot of work and planning. I couldn't even plan my own birthday party last year.
Hearing a knock on my door, I hadn't even had a chance to say come in before my little sister Sacha had come bursting through.
"See I told you, you don't have to knock." Letting my head flop to its side, there stood Luca with Terra on his back and Sacha holding onto his hand.
"No, you guys just walk into my room anyway, so what's the point of saying come in?" Looking back up at the ceiling, I could hear Terra whispering extremely bad into Luca's ear.
"I think she's menstrelating" kill me now.
Sitting up, I grabbed the nearest pillow to me and held it up threateningly.
"Both of you better get out before I let mom know what really happened to her favourite lipstick." Cocking an eyebrow, I watched as they both looked at eachother with wide eyes.
I wondered if it was because they were twins, and they had that supposed telepathy thing going on, was the reason they both bolted if at the same time.
Luca laughed in amusement before copping a squat on the floor next to me.
"Sisterly lovin' , gotta love it" he mocked. Narrowing my tired eyes in his direction, I pushed at his arm weakly.
I pushed myself up from the floor with a yawn."You're not funny"
Stretching my arms over my head, I let go a whale of a sound as my crop top had risen to just below my bra.
"That's a lie" he scoffed. Glaring over my shoulder at him, u dropped my are back to my side as he grinned widely up at me.
"Sometimes you make me wanna-"
"Write down erotic fantasies starring me and you?" Rolling my eyes half heartedly, I looked back out of my window whilst making my way to the ledge.
"It's you and I." I corrected.
"Ah so you do have some fifty shades of grey kink?" Reaching for my studded Winnie the Pooh bear, I launched it at him with a laughing 'shut up'.
Chuckling, I hadn't noticed he had gotten up until he was sat beside me on the window ledge.
"You okay, snowflake?"
Blinking at my crossed legs a few times, I looked up at him with my eyes in a slight squint.
"What if this whole thing blows up in my face? What if by doing this I just make my school life 10 times harder?" Watching his usual smirk twist as a look of concern flashed across his face, he sighed and brought me closer to him.
Resting my head on his shoulder, we both dangled our feet outside of the window, letting the soothing breeze whisp over our legs.
"You worry too much, snow." He chuckled slowly under his breath. Agreeing, I was beginning to start to kick myself for the 100th time today.
I've been doubting my decision to do this project all day. My teacher thought the idea was great, and so did I.
Well I did... I still do, I think.
Arggh.
I just really wanted to show Kimberely she was no one special, even someone like me could be someone like her.
If I wanted to prove that, I was going to need to stop doubting everything I did I said. I was going to need to put 100% into this, I was going to need to start now.
"You're right." Looking up at him with a tight lipped smile, I warmed to his touch as he planted a small kiss on my forehead.
"So you ready to come to this study date of mine? Or you gonna sulk in your room some more?" He said with a wink.
"What have I got to lose?"
___________________________
My mind.
That's what I've had to lose.
I've been spinning around in Luca's char for nearly 30 minutes trying to make myself pass out.
Anything would be better than watching Vanessa Hull trying to subtly flirt with Luca.
Paranoid you say?
This girl wore a V neck lower than her grades and a skirt higher than Justin bieber at coachella.
And was dropping her pencil every 5 seconds really an accident? Oh common, even Stevie Wonder could see that was a hot steamy pile of bull.
"So do you understand it now?" Luca asked still chewing down on the end of his pencil.
Stopping myself from spinning once more, I grabbed at my head to try to stop the room from spinning.
"Oh my god, I actually do." She giggled. "You're such a good tutor" flipping at her hair, she laughed as she pushed at his upper arm.
Screwing my face up at disgust, I don't think I could roll my eyes anymore without them sticking to the back of my head. Getting up, I let out an obnoxious yawn just as Luca was about to speak - making them both snap a look at me.
Touchy.
"Oh Winter, you couldn't be a dear and fetch me a glass of water?" She did ever so sweetly.
Locking my jaw, I looked at her like she was crazy.
"Do I look like your staff to you?" I snapped unexpectedly. Widening her eyes in shock, Luca had saw and got to his feet with his familiar smirk on his lips.
"Why don't I get some drinks, my legs could do with a stretch." Pulling me to his side as he probably noticed the death glare I was giving Vanessa, he planted a small peck on my lips before leaving his room.
I still wasn't even close to getting used to that.
"So.." Vanessa began upon crossing one leg over the other.
"So.." I copied dryly.
Scanning her eyes over Luca's belongings as if she were interested, I could almost smell the desperation in the air.
"Luca told me about how he used to live in Colorado, so is that where you met him?" Combing her fingers through the ends of her hair, I sat myself back down in the spinning chair and span to face his laptop and ao I couldn't see her.
"Yes." I spoke bluntly.
Typing in the password to his laptop, I opened up safari to see his Facebook logged in and an album half created labelled 'Sharkboy and Lavagirl'. He did have a strange obsession with that movie.
"That's nice."
"Yup." Letting the awkward silence fill the room, I finished adding photos of the both of us in the album before opening up my blog.
"Look, Winter." Hitting enter after typing in my password, I spam around to face her with my fingers intwined and rested on my lap.
"Yes, Vanessa?" I smiled bitterly.
"I feel like we've gotten off on the wrong foot, I honestly just want us to be friends." Skeptical of her change of attitude, I started to wonder if it was I this whole time who wasn't giving her a chance.
Her rating Luca isn't a sign of her being devious. Victoria and I always rated celebrities at our sleepovers.
Yeah, but this is different- Luca isn't Leonardo DiCaprio.
But he is an extremely good looking guy. I can't blame her for being a typical girl.
Closing down the laptop, I spun around with my lips tightly pursed. "Maybe I was a tad stand off-ish" I said with strain in my voice.
Pushing herself up from Luca's bed, she quickly pulled one of Luca's ridden stools and sat opposite me.
"Do you want to be friends?" She said cheerfully. I was starting to wonder if all this pep was because she was a cheerleader or it there was something psychologically wrong with her.
There was no way someone could constantly have a smile on there face throughout the day. Isn't it physically impossible or some shit like that?
"I don't see why not-." Before I had a chance to take another breath, she had lunged at me - knocking the wind right out of me.
Her arms were securely holding me, or should I say smothering me towards her chest.
Coughing erratically, somehow her laughs weren't reassuring me about this newly blossomed 'friendship'.
"Oopsie" she giggled.
What have I done.
Letting go, it was then Luca had came strolling in whistling with 2 cans of Mountain Dew in 1 hand, and a diet coke in the other.
Slowing down in his steps, his tuneful whistle came to a slow halt as a perverted smirk appeared.
"Please don't stop on my account, girls"
Throwing me the can of Mountain Dew and diet coke, I passed Vanessa hers, still glaring at Luca.
To be fair, I think the whole dirty comment had flew straight over her head.
"You're not interrupting anything, silly"
Yep, straight over her head.
"I was just about to ask Winter if both of you guys would like to come to Deans Diner later on?" Swinging her dainty arm over my shoulder, the expressions on our faces were complete polar opposites.
"You know, I don't think-" I started with a face that looked like I was pulling off a bandade.
"We'd love to." He added.
Stopping with my mouth mid way open, I looked on at him with both anger and surprise.
Anger because he had just gotten us into something that had as much excitement as a log. And I'm not talking about those chocolate logs my nona makes at Christmas, I mean the wooden kind.
Surprise because I didn't think he was that stupid to accept an invite from someone popular, to where the popular's go to rip innocent bystanders apart.
"Yay, I better get going then." Her screeching voice made my nose turn up and my eyes clench shut. I had opened them and smiled painfully just in time as she turned to face me.
"Can't be looking all sweaty when I introduce you to my friends." Leeping up with a bounce in her step - it must be a cheerleader thing - she bent over to give me a hug, and I didn't miss the satisfied look on Luca's face as she did so.
Pervert.
"Yeah, can't look sweaty.." I said trying not to sound as awkward as I felt whilst her arms were wrapped around me.
Letting go of me, she waltzed up to Luca and have him a hug that lasted a hell of a lot longer than mine.
I had to clear my throat just to stop her from nearly copping a feel.
How disrespectful is that? You can't just go around groping other girls made up boyfriends.
.
.
Oh god, I'm insane.
"See ya later guys, around 8?" But it's a school night...
I think Luca could tell the doubtful look on my face and thought he was doing me a favour for agreeing to it.
Think again buddy, think again.
Once we had both shown her to the door, we stood there smiling and waving like idiots as we watched her slide into her black Mercedes Benz.
Bestfriends, huh?" His grin was tight lipped to try to stop himself bursting out in laughter in front of Vanessa.
"I'm gonna give you to the count of 3 to start running." I said whilst still smiling falsely and waving slightly as we both watched the car speed off down the street.
Dropping my arm, I turned to face him with daggers shooting from my eyes.
"1,2-" and like that he was off like a shot, sprinting up the stairs with me hot on his ass.
"Oh you better run you ass hat!"

A/N
I was actually supposed to post this on Monday but I started watching 'True Blood' and completely forgot.
I started watching it on Monday and I'm already on season 5 :') I don't know what I'm going to do when I finish it.
You don't even know how much I enjoy hearing Bill say;
SOOKEH
(There are probably a butt load of mistakes in this chapter, I'm not very happy about this one if I'm honest)
Enjoy, though
