Just like always, Jaehyun wakes up at 6 AM to start his daily morning routine. He arrived at the university park still half sleepy, stretching his limbs first to prepare for a morning jog. And as soon as he's fully awake, he puts on his headphone, plays music and slowly works out his legs and jogs around the park. It's just a normal day with nice weather. He likes the morning breeze the best that's why he cannot miss his jogging time. It's like his appetizer to start the day right; exactly what his brain needs before acads bleed him dry for the whole day.

30 minutes passed before he ends his morning jog and proceeds to have a light breakfast at his favorite cafe. He orders blueberry belgian waffle and hot caramel macchiato just like always.

His routine is like this. He eats while watching a morning TV program on his phone. And then after having his breakfast, he'll return to the park, sits down on a bench and finish his daily caffeine. It's always been his habit to stare at the green trees while listening to music and sipping his coffee, as he finds it therapeutic. Although it's autumn and the leaves have already turned orange, he still finds solace in them because autumn can also mean embracing change and finding beauty in the impermanence of life. Of which is one of his life mottos.

It's just so ironic how the current season is about embracing change, when his attention was caught by an unknown presence who just sat down beside him. At first, he didn't pay attention and just focused on finishing his coffee, until he feels a gentle tap on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry to bother you. I just want to ask something, if that's alright."

"Sure."

Jaehyun answers politely. And just like that, his crush radar has started again. But it's too early (literally) for that so he dismisses that thought right away even though the guy is handsome, which is the first pass to become his ideal crush.

"Where's the way to Yonsei's dormitories? I actually moved in late yesterday but I went out and only just came back now since I have an early class today."

Jaehyun's not gonna lie. The guy's really good-looking. He almost mistook the guy as the actor Park Bogum for his semi-long hair, which is another clear pass. His hair looks healthy as the morning breeze brushes it off, Jaehyun thinks.

Their conversation ends right away after Jaehyun instructed the way. Jaehyun was about to casually ask his name but the guy has already plugged in his airpods and walks along the path he told him. If only Jaehyun didn't need to urgently drop by at his older brother's apartment to pick up important papers he left two days ago. If only his older brother also didn't give him an important errand, Jaehyun would definitely and gladly show the way himself, just to have more time with the guy and probably ask his name. It's a total bummer that of all days, it had to be today he encountered this.

But after all, it's not yet the end of the world, Jaehyun suddenly realizes. The guy attends the same university he does so it wouldn't be that hard to find him, right? The university is very wide and large, yes, but there are also many ways to find someone, especially for a social butterfly like him who has lots of acquaintances. It won't definitely be that hard. Jaehyun hopes with all his might.
