The Marionette's Story (Chapter 7 A.K.A. The Terrible Chapter)

(Hell-o lov-elies, Marion here! Time for a new chapter and a new question! Starting to wonder if this is even a marionette x reader anymore. So you're question is, am I taking things too slow? If so, I might move on to the romantic part next chapter. But now you must prepare for da feels.

I at first had an idea for the chapter, but seeing as to where I left off, it kind of ruled out that option. I'll find some way to squeeze it in the bottom. I'll just give you a small spoiler, it has something/everything to do with the picture above. Sorry about the long author's note, I love to talk. Anyway, I'll see ya at the end

P.S. this is random, but anyone else notice how Jeremy is like the shy version of Cry? I mean, sure, he has green eyes and Cry has blue ((most of the time)), but other than that...brown hair, green sweater/scarf, both adorable but hide their faces. You can't tell me you don't see a comparison. And anyway in one Cry x reader I'm reading ((All For You, great book)) his eyes are green. Plus they both have an evil side/sides. Do not tell me you don't get my point. I'm just saying)

Tears start to silently run down your face as you hug your little Freddy boy once again. He becomes soft in your arms, allowing you to hug him tighter. You finally pull away and look at Freddy, he's in human form. He's crying as well, but you're both smiling.

After a while, you hear another familiar voice from the darkness. "W-wait, is it really?-" the rest is cut off by another human body crashing into you, making you fall out of Freddy's arms and onto the floor. You look up and squeal in excitement. "(y/n)! It's really you, I missed you! You should've visited sooner, girl!" It's Chica. Her voice is more robotic and metallic than you remember, but you hug her like nothing's wrong.

After a while of you both talking and exaggerating about how much you guys haven't seen each other in a "minute", another pair of arms lift you up and hug you. One of them has a hook on it. You smirk and spin around, bringing you're hand to Foxy's face. He stops you just in time and smirks as well. "Well well well, (y/n), we meet again, las. I hope ye been practicin' for our next fight." You smirk wider and nod.

You both take a few steps back before charging at each other. Freddy's hand stops you, he doesn't seem amused. "Is now really the time, guys?" he asks. You and Foxy blush and look at the ground. Not too soon after, you hear another pair of footsteps behind you.

The others look up, their faces become worried. You, however, only smile. There's only one person left to remeet, you're best bunny Bonnie. You turn around, gleefully, but only stop in your tracks when you see you're "old" friend. You're not even sure if he can see you, I mean, how can anyone even see...without a face?!

You then notice something you didn't notice before as you turn back around to the others. Freddy is missing an ear, Foxy has holes all over him, and Chica doesn't have any hands, and her jaw is slightly broken. You feel tears fill in your eyes as you look around at your now broken friends. "W-what happened to you guys?! Y-you're hurt! Badly! Oh my gosh, what the-" you find yourself at a loss for words.

You run off to the office, trying to muffle your sobs with your hands, but failing badly. 'My old friends, my best and only friends at the time. They're...not the same. They might never be the same. But then that doesn't explain...' you stop in your tracks, 'then why isn't Goldie broken?'

You stop crying, trying to think. Someone must've fixed him, but who?...

(Vincent's POV)

I listen intently as the puppet explains all about the relationship he had with his brother, patting his back here and there to encourage him to continue. I never knew his story went back so far. (The following story is made up, don't sue me if I stole your idea and don't hate me if you think the idea is stupid, it's my version of the story)

"I used to love my brother. He was nice to me, but he would still pick on me sometimes, you know, like normal brothers. He would always be there for me and protect me though, so I would do anything for him I loved him like my own dad.

At the time, however, we did live with our mom and dad. I think I was about 6, my brother was 13. My mom and dad were an important part in my life, I loved them as well. Dad was the only working parent, he had a good paying job that allowed mom to stay home and play with and look after us all day till father came home. We enjoyed this setup, we had a chaperon and daddy was making all the money we needed, so this continued for some time without complaint. Until the day my father was in a car accident. He didn't survive.

It sent my whole family plunging into a state of depression. My mom had to find work, and she did, but it made her almost always away from us. I had to grow up with my brother for about 4 years. He was just a bit meaner than he used to be, when I was a smaller child. I could never really do anything to stop it, but I didn't really want to since I still loved him like a parent.

After a while Fredbear's Family Diner opened up, and since it was cheap, we would go there often. It was starting to get a little old, but it was the only place we could go. My brother would walk with me there since it wasn't too far away from our house. But don't get me wrong, we didn't go there everyday, just whenever mom didn't come home soon enough, which I guess wasn't all that often. Her boss wasn't enough of a monster to keep her at work at night and away from us longer.

Anyway, going to Fredbear's became a sort of routine, and me and my brother just kind of went along with it. I paid no mind to it, I just thought it was okay to continually walk to Fredbear's, maybe see the show for a bit, eat our food and walk home. That is, of course, until the day a week before my brother's birthday party.

I remember the day almost exactly, but I won't go into too much detail. I remember walking down a hall, I was just enjoying my pizza along with the funny show the performers would sometimes put on, since, you know, there were the springlocked suits back then, and only Spring Bonnie and Fredbear himself were the animatronics they used. Anyway, as I walked down the hall, I could hear slight shuffling from behind the door. I slowed down my pace as I neared.

The door was slightly ajar, allowing me to squeeze my tiny child sized hand into the opening so I could see more. I was right about it, being able to see more, but...but..." the marionette stops his story with a look of terror on his face. He quickly holds his stomach with a look of pain, then he gets on all fours, retching.

I pat his back and sit him back up, encouraging him to go on. He nods and tries to continue his story. "I'm sorry, I'd just rather not remember what I saw...uh, anyway, It really messed me up, so I got scared of going to Fredbear's. My brother started making fun of me, and all I could do was cry. In fact, I cried so much it started to leave tear stains on my face.

But that's not the point, none of this is the point!" he suddenly snaps. "The point I was building up to is that fact the my brother shoved my head into Fredbear's mouth on his birthday because I was afraid of it! And...I think you know where that story goes..." he finally calms down and finishes. "There's a lot more to the story, but remembering what I saw...I just can't continue. But one thing you need to know is that...my brother and I share the same birth day." I cover my mouth with my hands, that really is terrible.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for you," I say, patting his back. He slightly chuckles.

"Eh, it's not your fault. Anyway I'm over it, I forgive him and only want the best for him. I just worry that he hasn't gotten over it. Well, thanks for listening Vincent, I actually never expected this much from you." we stand back up and the marionette wipes his face before smiling at me.

"Heheh, no problem," I smile back, "besides, I've changed. Therapy, remember?" I remind him as we walk out of the prize corner and into the hall. I hear footsteps and I turn and see (y/n) pacing back and fourth at the beginning of the hall. I'm about to walk up to her when the marionette walks in the opposite direction.

I follow him and we near the end of the hall, but then he turns back and goes toward the office again, I then turn and see Jeremy following him. 'What the hell is going on?' I think. Shrugging, I creep closer to the end of the hall, then I hear talking.

"Oh yeah, I can fix you guys up easy peasy, with a little help of course. It might take some time though. Come on, in the meantime I'll show you around the new pizzeria." It sounds like Golden Freddy, he's talking to someone new, I'm guessing. Then I realize what he's just said, he's coming this way.

I turn around to walk back to the office, but it's too late. "Oh, hi Vincent, I want you to remeet some peop-oh...uh...um...never mind, just go back to the office now!-" Golden Freddy says, but his warning's too late. I feel a hand rest on my shoulder and a growl from behind.

I slowly turn around, seeing the last people I ever wanted to see in my lifetime. "Um, hi guys. Uh...is it too late now to say sorry?" I sing. (Aw yeah, all the JB haters/fangirls is gonna hate/love meh for this ref)

(Poor Purp. Guy. But anywho...)

(Your POV)

You walk around in circles trying to figure stuff out, when all of a sudden you hear giggling from down the hall. You brace yourself, hoping not to meet the Withered again, and walk towards the sound. Peeking around a corner, you can just make out...Jeremy and the marionette?

"Do you really have to leave soon, Jere Bere?" He's in his child form again. His head is on Jeremy's chest with his arms around Jeremy's shoulders. They're both sitting on the floor, hugging each other. Jeremy, eyes closed, nods.

"Yup, but I'll be back tonight, no worries. But I've got to go now," Jeremy opens his eyes and tries to get up, but the marionette holds him down.

"But whhhyyyy??" he whines.

"Because Boss says no," Jeremy tries again but to no avail.

Jeremy finally gives up and the marionette giggles. They both smile and close their eyes again. Jeremy pats the marionette's head cutely and they both sigh.

You feel a wet substance leak down your face. You wipe it and realize it's blood. You're nose is bleeding. (XD this is not the appropriate time, bad reader)

You then hear a scream, surprising all of you. You and the others run toward the scream and see Vincent being pinned against the wall by a broken up Freddy, with the other old ones around him, glaring. 'Uh oh,' you think, 'I forgot.'

(I'm sorry I suck at making things, please don't hate this chapter. It just seems that the farther I get into things, the more they suck. Ugh, I need help, this is just terrible. GIVE ME ADVIIIIICE! :(

Well, I'll see ya later. Stay awesome, stay healthy, and stay lovely. Bye lov-elies! -Marion Marionette, the worst author)
