Living Nightmare (Chapter 11, Part 1)
(Hell-o lov-elies, Marion here! Just finished making some stories/videos with Candy (Clary). It was fun. We recorded "I'm a 911 operator" and "Mason", we also did a fanfiction reenactment with Blaze (Nikki). It was too funny. Clary might upload the videos, I'll tell you if she does so you can watch it. If you do, just to let you know, be prepared to see the full extent of our ADD XD
Anyway, enjoy the chap! :3)
(Vincent's POV)
"What do I do now?" I ask the little bear. He stares at me a while.
"Grab your torch," he offers me advice. I shakily nod and run over to the flashlight. I flicker it to see if it works. It does and I slightly smile.
I run back over to the little bear and hold him in my hands. He's soft, so fluffy and plushed. I forgot where I bought him from.
I maneuver my small body over to the front of the bed. I shine the flashlight around the small room, wondering what to do next. I run to a door and open it. It creaks, making me shake more. All I can think about is how badly this might suck.
"Use your flashlight, but with caution," warns the bear, "if you hear breathing HOLD THE DOOR CLOSED!" I gulp and listen silently. Then I hear something. I panic and slam the door closed. I hear muffled footsteps, but I continue to hold it. Behind me I hear a door creak.
I run back and shine the flashlight again. The closet closes. I tremble as I slowly walk toward it. I hesitate before shining the flashlight. Mistake? Most likely.
I hear a scream and shut my eyes in fear, leaning all my body weight on the door to close it. It closes and I slowly slide down to the floor, violently shaking and tears pouring from my eyes.
I hear my clock a few feet away, I made it! I look back at the bear, smiling with joy, "I survived!" I hug it and cry tears of joy this time. He laughs and smiles as well.
"Yes, for now,"
(Your POV)
"How'd this happen?!" you yell at the marionette, who is carrying a passed out Vincent in his hands. Marion says he was trying something with Vincent, an experiment, except now he won't wake up.
"I don't know, all I wanted to do was one night but..." he trails off, looking longingly at your sleeping friend.
Your mood changes from angry to worried in an instant. You furrow your eyebrows and rub your temples, trying to think. There has to be a way to wake him up.
"Okay um...first of all, how do you even have this kind of power?" you start. The marionette nervously smiles and laughs, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Well...it kinda came with the suit."
"Makes sense I guess...well..." you come up with an idea, "can you do it to me then?" you ask him. He's confused.
"Huh, what do you mean?"
"I mean, like, is there a way that you can add me into the dream?"
The marionette thinks for a while. Suddenly his eyes widen and he smiles brightly. But then just as suddenly, his smile turns into an open mouthed frown. He smiles again, then frowns, then smiles, then frowns. You slap your forehead and shake your head.
"So is that a no?" you say, still facepalming.
"Well, no, it's a yes but-"
Your eyes light up, "really? You can actually do it?!"
"Well yes," he starts, " but-"
"It doesn't matter right now, Vincent is more important than any butts, do it now." You tell him seriously. He looks worried.
"Can't I just...well, I can but...I'm not sure you'd even want to go into the dream. And anyway, it's really only a one person dream. And even if I did manage to take you, I might not be able to pull you out, like Vincent."
"Wait, why wouldn't I want to go? Why only one person?" your mind buzzes with doubtful questions. Then you stop, "What...dream is it?"
"I-it's not a dream," he looks at you, eyes full of worry, "it's a nightmare."
(Vincent's POV)
I lay down and cry. I cry my eyes out, so much that it starts to hurt. Why am i here? Why would he do this?
(Imma call him Christian. No, he is not based off of a classmate of mine, I called him Christian way before school even started) "Christian," I scream, "please let me out. This is inhumane!" All I hear is laughter from the other side of the door.
I open my watery eyes and look around my room. My stomach rumbles, barely heard over my loud sobs.
In the corner, I see a little figure. I slowly stand up and walk toward it, my hopes rising as I grow near. I reach it and bend down. I pick up the small bear and hug it, imagining it hugging me back. I smile faintly, but tears continue to run down my soft, fragile, tear stained cheeks.
I hear it whisper to me, "tomorrow is another day..."
(Love that song :P wanna sing the lyrics for me in the comments?)
I wake up with a start. I look around frantically, trying to remember where I am. I hear an alarm clock go off behind me, signaling that it's now 12 o'clock, the start of another night.
I sigh and get off of the bed, rubbing my eyes. I grab the flashlight on my bedside table and the small bear beside me. I hug little Fredbear, I don't care what big Fredbear did to me, I still love little him. I yawn happily.
I get off of the bed and sit in front of it, waiting for night 2 to begin.
(Time skip)
I shut the closet door, not even daring to shine the light on the nightmare fox that waits inside. I hear him back off and I nod triumphantly.
I run back over to my bed and turn behind me, shining the bright light on the three Freddles that appeared. I turn back around, running over to the door on the left. I pause.
I wait about 3 whole second of silence before I her it. I hastily shut the door and pray. After a while, I hear footsteps, he's gone.
I sigh and walk back over to my bed. it's been more than 5 hours, my feet are killing me. I sit down in front of the bed, panting.
"Feeling tired, little one?" I look down at little Fredbear. His eyes have small white pupils in them, which means he's talking to me. I remember the first time he talked to me, it was when I saw...I shiver. No, I'd rather forget.
"Yeah," I sigh, answering his question, "when will this night be over?"
"5 minutes left. But don't give up, you can do it, I believe in you!" I smile at his words of encouragement. He wiggles in my grasp and I let go of him, allowing him to move freely. He wobbles over to the right door, opening the door a bit.
I feel my eyes start to close. I know I slept for more than 14 hours, but it feels like I only slept for 4 minutes. I drift off silently.
I hear muffled screaming all of a sudden. And tugging at my arm. I awake with a start to mini Fredbear yelling at me, "Sam, Chica is here!"
But his warning is too late. I see a nightmaric chicken burst through my bedroom door. I scream and crawl under my bed. She rushes after to grab me, but I hide myself under in time. She tries frantically to grab me, her arm moving from side to side trying to reach me, but I just scoot farther under.
I smile, thinking that I'm safe, but then I feel tiny yet painful scratches all over my arms. I scream in pain as they start to move all over my face, forcing me to close my eyes in fear. I try to cover myself with my arms, but the scratching persists.
Soon, I feel blood droplets roll down my body and start to soak the carpet underneath my bed, and more tears form in my eyes; but, thankfully, I hear the alarm going off and the scratching stops abruptly. I wait a while, trying to make sure all the Freddles are gone, then I climb out from under the bed and look around the room, Chica is gone and the doors are closed again.
I look at the clock, it's 6 AM. I smile faintly and sit on my bed, sighing in relief. I climb under the covers, feeling like I had just pulled an all-nighter, grab and hug my little Fredbear that just climbed onto the bed, and drift off to sleep. To another memory, tainted with nightmares...
(Your POV)
You look down and see Vincent squirming in his sleep, twisting and turning his head at odd angles, and mumbling misinterpreted words.
You furrow your eyebrows, "so, will this really work?" You look back up at Marion, who carries a ball of faint blue light in his hand.
"Yes, I can add you to the dream to help Vincent, but you have to get through all of it! No quitting. I'm not exactly sure how this will work out, how you will act, or if Vincent will even remember you, so are you sure you want to do this?" he looks at you concernedly. You think a while, then take a deep breath and give a single nod.
He nods as well, defeated, and motions you to lay down. You lay down beside Vincent and hold his hand, you close your eyes to prepare for the worst. But before that-
"Oh wait, Marion, we can project it! Then we'll see what happens in it!" Goldie yells out. You open your eyes and stare at him, confused. But Marion's face just lights up.
"You're right Gold!" he looks back at you, explaining, "We can project the dream so everyone can watch you. We won't be able to interact, but at least we'll know if you're okay or how it works out."
"You can do that?" you ask him, even more confused.
"Of course, but only Goldie and I can cause we're more powerful souls. What can I say, it comes with the suit." (I just like to say that sometimes, it works out well, ya know, because it's FNaF? XD) he responds. You nod and lay down again.
"Okay, project it then." You finish.
He nods and moves the ball of light toward your head. He slowly moves it up and down your body, making you feel weird.
It's like your skin is being flaked away into darkness. You close your eyes tightly, trying not to throw up. You feel your body get lighter, and smaller, and colder as a dream surrounds you. You relax your eyes as the feeling starts to fade.
You become calm as everything becomes numb. And soon you start to forget. Your mind wanders in and out of consciousness, and you slightly smile. Then you hear something, a small, melancholy voice.
"Huh? Hello, are you okay? How'd you get here?" You open your eyes to see a young boy with brown hair and blue streaks on his face that run from his eyes to his chin. He also has bags under his eyes, and wears a striped shirt.
You sit up and look at him. You look down at your small body. You're a small girl. But how'd you get here, where's your mom? Where're your friends? This place is scary!
What were you doing last? You were with mommy then- no, you were with Marion. And he was doing something with you...then you remember, "I-I'm (y/n). I'm looking for my friend Vincent," you say in a small voice, that of a child's.
"Well, I don't know any Vincent's around here," he smiles faintly at you and holds out his hand, "but hi, I'm Sam."

Well BAM! Undertale OST ((Original Sound Track)) Your welcome, lov-elies!
Hehe, anyway, next part'll be released soon. I hope you enjoyed this one. If you're feeling confused, maybe I can explain it to you?
EXPLANAITION (optional): Mari sent Vincent to a memory/nightmare about his past. I call the FNaF 4 kid Sam, in case you didn't know. Vincent in the dream is Sam, and he doesn't remember anything about being sent there. He only knows what Sam knows. So now you're being sent there to help him, kind of in a co-op mission. And, like I said, next part'll be released later.
Also, the whole "projecting" thing is actually an old idea of mind. I think it's pretty clever, do you?
I'll see you later. Stay awesome, stay healthy, and stay lovely. Bye lov-elies!)
