"and you promise to text everyday?"

"of course i will"

"and you'll facetime me at least once i week so i can see you?"

"of course"

"and you promise to have fun?"

"i promise"

"and-"

"oh, my goddddd," harry whined. "just let him go, let him leaveee."

"i'm just going to miss him" (y/n) frowned while wrapping her arms around sam's neck.

"yeh, well everyone else will miss him and may want to say goodbye to him too" harry retorted.

"fine," she let go of sam's body and moved away from him, letting his brothers and parents share an embrace before he left for france. his two large suitcases stood proudly next to the front door, waiting to be taken in the holland family car and later thrown onto an aeroplane.

tom, paddy, harry, nikki and dom had their last hugs before sam and dom left for the airport. the remaining five hollands waved from the doorway of the holland family home as the car grew smaller and smaller. the four actually hollands left (y/n) side, wanting to leave the cold from the english winter weather.

(y/n) remained leaning against the door frame. her arms crossed over her body in an attempt to keep herself warm. she sniffled her nose and wiped a tear from her cheek which had fallen from her (y/e/c) eyes.

"(y/n)! will you help me with my maths homework?" paddy's voice called from up the stairs.

"yeh!" she turned before replying and looked back outside again. she gave a small smile to herself and closed the door. she turned to go upstairs while wiping another tear before she saw harry standing next to the banister.

"you okay?" he asked, concern lacing his voice.

"yeh, yeh, i'll be fine. i'm just going to miss him, a lot" she sniffled.

"i know. we all are, but we're seeing him again in february, so it's not that far away"

"but he's missing christmas, and our anniversary," she moved over and leaned on the banister, inches away from harry. "and both of your birthdays, and valentine's day! i just don't want him to go"

"he's left now, and it's only for four months. we'll see him for a week in two months and then, as soon as you know it, he'll be home. everything will be fine" harry rubbed her arm, and ran his hand down to her hand, squeezing it lightly.

"i know," her head lowered. "i just-he's just gonna miss a lot of special things, important things to the both of us. it's gonna be so hard"

"i know. but it'll be okay. you better go and help pads with his homework else he'll-"

"(y/n)! i really need help here, please!"

"-shout at you" the pair of friends laughed quietly.

"i'm coming!" she shouted to paddy. "see you later, haz"

"see yah" he smiled, letting go of her hand and walking back into the living room.

(y/n) sighed deeply as she stepped up the stairs one by one.

"everything will be fine. everything will be fine" she whispered, hoping to believe it herself.
