Chapter 3
-unknown pov-
I blinked my eyes open, but only to be blinded by a bright white ceiling. Where was I? I looked to my right, seeing a woman laying in bed. From what I could see, she had blonde hair that looked like something from a game I play.. I just can't remember.
There was a man sitting in a chair between whatever I was on and the bed the lady was on, he had a moustache that I could barely see and black hair. He seemed pretty well built, but I could only see his arms because of the giant vest on him. I could see by his hand and some of the skin on his arm a tattoo. It looked like a badass squid.. I hate squids, I don't know why, I just do.
Must be cold outside..
A girl who seemed to be around my age sat at the bottom of the bed. She had slightly tanned skin, the same blonde hair the woman had but the girl's faded to a deep blue. She wore a gray skirt, black leggings under it, a black and white giant button up jacket over a shirt I couldn't really make out. Her eyes were a dark blue too, though seemed to have different shades of blue in them.
"Daddy, the boy on the other side of the room is awake." The girl spoke up. The voice was slightly familiar, but I couldn't put my tongue on it. The man looked at me through dull blue eyes.
"Talk to him, if he doesn't respond call the nurse, even after a while, call her." The man said with a strong voice. It scared me, but I couldn't really do anything besides moving my head.. It hurt. The girl had came over to me, sitting on the chair next to the object I was on.
"Hi, my name's Jeanine, I have a nickname, but I won't exactly tell you that." She said, smiling slightly. "But you can call me nine, from my name y'know. J-E-A-N-I-N-E." She spelled out. "Do you know where you are?"
"F'om the looks of the lady over there, possibly a hospital... What am I laying on?" I asked tiredly. My voice was dry and Jea- I mean Nine, had seemed to notice it. She reached over behind her and grabbed a cup filled with a clear liquid.
"Cooperate and you won't be soaked." She said, placing her hand under my head, lifting it up. She tilted the cup into my mouth and I felt the liquid flow down my tongue. I drank the water slowly, savoring the flavor as if I had never had water before. "Name?"
"I can't think of it." I told her honestly. What was my name, how did I even get here?
"Well, Mr. No name, to be honest, if you put on some more pounds and went to the gym and got the slightest bit fit, I would be into you." She giggled. It reminded me so much of a dream I had, I just couldn't help but smile slightly. "Well, I'm not specifically calling you hot, but you're pretty cute." She patted my shoulder some before continuing speaking.
I couldn't hear anything though, just a mumble of squished together words. My head started to sting, looking back up at the white ceiling, squeezing my eyes shut. I opened them again to see people in blue peering over at me and I felt something jab into my arm.
"Don't hurt him!" I heard a voice squeal. Was that.. Jeanine? "You're hurting him, you're slapping him! Don't slap him!"
"Get her out Mr. S!" One of the people in blue ordered.
Then, everything turned black.
*Galaxy's POV*
I continued to help Ty train, he wanted it. He wanted to get stronger so he can help Adam, Rob, and Dani rescue the others. O doesn't seem stable enough, she's kept herself in her own small guest room mumbling Jason's name. I would be too, but I didn't have that much of a bond with the man.
I mean, one day he's all nice and cheerful, the next he's the prince of the Aether! It surprised all of us, well when I found out. He was almost on the list of my best friends! After Ty and O of course. I wouldn't consider Adam my best friend anymore.
"Fight with your body AND your head!" Rob yelled. Ty glared, running to attack me again with his fake sword. I dodged it quickly, sticking my foot out which sent him to the ground.
"Fighting with my body hurts!" He whined. I walked over to him, lending a hand down to help him up. He took it, pulling me up, but soon flipped me over and my back hit the ground.
"Better with hand to hand combat! Keep that in mind, Galaxy!" Rob yelled again. "I'm going check on Adam and Dani, don't fall into any portals in the ground or get kidnapped by a fake prince!" His chuckles rang out. We both glared at him and Ty helped me back up. He walked away from the area we were by and into the house.
We continued to fight, but hand to hand this time. We chatted about random things though it stopped hearing shuffling noises. I shot Ty a look, pulling my sword out of it's pocket and Ty doing the same, looking at the spot we heard the shuffling from.
Adam walked out from behind a tree where we heard the shuffling, his hands raised and a goofy smile on his face.
"Adam! Damn you!" I yelled. He started to walk over but something stopped him. He stared at something behind us, a frightened look on his face. I raised an eyebrow, slowly turning.
There stood a Sun Spirit, which were only supposed to be found in the gold dungeons here in the Aether.
"Someone spawned it!" Dani's voice was heard, yelling. She ran towards us, phoenix armor on and more in her hands and Rob's own.
They tossed the armor to the three of us, handing Adam a sword.
"The only way to kill it is to reflect it's blows and hit him with his own power!" Rob yelled.
*time skip cuz I can*
I sat down on the couch, exhausted, burnt, and frozen. Damn dungeon boss. Dani and Rob did most work because I was trying to defend Ty and Adam. I received many of the blows, though Dani and Rob got in front of me and barely got hit.
"Bae!" Adam walked through the door, a shy smile on his face. I glared at him, causing him to step back away from me. "I'll uh.. Go get O." He said quickly, going down the hall and up the blocky, different colored steps.
