~Zenix's POV~
I stalked senpai and that hussy walk to school together. Irene, I hate that boy so much. I scoffed softly to myself I watched them laugh and talk. I started thinking: what If he steals senpai away from me? What if senpai and him start dating...?
No! That can't happen! Senpai's mine! And only mine! Plus, senpai could never love someone like him.
I saw that we were close to the school. I sighed but I looked up and saw my best friend, Gene. I walked up to him, I saw gene seemed to starring at Laurence and Garroth they walked back. He seemed to be mainly focused on Laurence though, I wonder why...
I finally got to him. He seemed to be lost in a trance of some sort.
"Uhh...gene...?" I said, trying to get his attention
He stayed starring at Laurence and Garroth.
"Hello? Gene?"
Gene had a hint of love showing in his eyes.
"Gene Ocean!!"
Gene snapped back to reality and looked at me. "Oh sorry...I was Uh...lost in thought" Gene lied. I always knew when he was losing to me.
"You know I always know when your lying to me gene..." I said in a soft voice.
Gene huffed and looked away in embarrassment.
~Authors POV~
Gene wasn't the type to get embarrassed very easily. Gene really did like Laurence. When he first started having these feelings, he tried to ignore them but as time went on, his feelings got stronger and stronger. Gene wasn't gonna admit it, but he had fallen hard for Laurence.
Zenix sighed softly. He knew gene was stubborned. Zenix thought for a second before saying: "hey! Maybe there's something I can help you with!" Zenix said looked a bit hopeful.
"Huh? Why do you care about what I need help with?" Gene asked, Kinda confused.
"Because I do, now tell me: do you have anything I can help you with?" Zenix asked again, rolling his eyes slightly.
Gene sighed and nodded slowly. "Okay don't tell anyone but...There's this kitty that I saw earlier....If you find that kitty can you take a picture of it for me? I'll owe you one big time if you get me that picture"
Zenix nodded and walked off to go find the kitty.
-Time skip after a few minutes-
Zenix was so close to just giving up on finding the cat. He couldn't find the cat anywhere. The young Burnett walked over to the left side of the school. Zenix was really about to give up but suddenly he saw a very small gray kitty. Zenix quickly took a picture of the cat and ran off.
This meant that gene owned zenix something in return and zenix knew exactly what he wanted from gene.
