Part 7

Rks POV

I gazed at Misha and then back to madhu.her wound was bleeding where I had bitten her. Her face was wet with her tears and the eyes were piercing into my soul.
“Madhu…i..I..” I tried to reason but in futile.
“You …you bit me…what are you ??...you are not human,you are a monster “ she said palming her aching wound.
Misha reached her and put her hand on her shoulder, leading her to the near by chair.she sat down down and weeped.misha kneeled down on the floor hugging her and gently soothing her back
“Sh…its okay..he won’t hurt you..I am here “ Misha said
“Misha…” I tried to get some reaction from her.
“Go Rk…just go “ she gritted her teeth to control her anger.
“But…we can’t …” her snarl stopped me from completing my words
“I will manage it..” she said and faced me for the first time .I felt her accussing eyes and read the anger and hurt in them
“I am sorry…i..I lost the control “ I said frustrated
She stood up Swiftly and grabbed my collar.
“Really…lost control…are you a newly turned one to do this ??...you were playing the role of savior till yesterday and now what happened ..the chivalry died …the humanity lost…hah..” she pushed me back.
I opened and closed my mouth like a fish but nothing came out of my mouth .I couldn’t form a word to justify my part because I was the culprit here losing my control out of jealousy.
“Just leave…Rk “ she sighed “I will manage it “her face softened seeing me worried.she knew that I never ever do such a thing and she was right about me leaving the situation for her to deal.i walked out of the room and once I made sure that I am out of human eyes I fled to the near by wood in the speed of wind.i halted when I reached the deep wood and my shoe sole screeched on the dirt .I panted and a scream went out of my mouth..I am frustrated with the beast inside me.how much I wanted to be a human to be with madhu, having a normal human life but I had born like this and I have to be content with my life.i hit a huge tree frustrated and it gave away felling on the floor with a loud noise shaking the earth .I heard a foot step and realized that the intruder is my cousin, Kabir.i am sure that he is here to confront me …or console me ??..
“Rk “he called and I turned but couldn’t look into his eyes.soi preferred to stare at the tree which I had kicked down.
“Rk…misha mindlinked about the whole thing…I can understand you..yaar.you are really attracted to that human …its natural to be attracted to her blood too.dont feel so much guilt for it…its our primal nature to be lured by blood.” He said
“But Kabir ….i should have been a little careful…I don’t know how I lost it..” I said desperately
“Its okay abhsy…I think we need a hunt…lets go “ he said me with a sly smile
“Yeah…” I smiled back and followed him in a flash.we reached the edge of the forest were human usually prefer to enjoy some lonely time or some making out with their partners.
“Hey Rk “ I heard a familiar sound and saw trishna there.
“Trishna ??” I asked confused
“I was just taking a tour around the campus…its really beautiful…near to nature …awsome and a nice place to stay alone with our fiancee “ she wincked at me
I felt a rage took over my conscience.
“Why are you here?? “ she asked curiously
And then I lost it .I pounced on her and grabbed her from her back.she get awestruck by the speed by which I reached and grabbed her waist.
“Rk…” she called a little frightened and my inner beast enjoyed the scent of fear coursing from his prey
“I will show you why I am here “ I said tilting her neck and bit her harshly.sje cried out in pain.i haven’t ever been harsh with my prey but her behavior is waking up the feral beast in me who enjoyed the wildness.i sucked her blood greedily and she screamed at the pain .I dipped my fangs further deep to her neck to elicit pain from her .
“Dude…”I heard Kabir “conyrol Rk…you gonna kill her “ Kabir said
I removed my fangs out and licked the wound to seal it.i looked into her eyes and erased her memory of being attacked .her body was limp in my hands and I placed her down on the floor.
“R u not going to take her to the room??...”kabir asked
“No..”I said and turned to leave
“She is your fiancee “ Kabir Said
“So…?” I turned back to him and asked
“Don’t give in to your beast ...Rk…you gonna destroy everything..you are supposed to have a child with her in the near future “ Kabir said
I sighed and looked at her limp body  . Kabir was right ,she is not to be punished for my mistake..I can’t take out my frustrations on her.i regreted that I inflicted so much pain on her .I leaned down and collected her in my hands.i walked to the staff room of surgery department and placed her on the bed.mom was there and she asked me what happened . Then she saw the sealed wound.
“You took from her ?? “ she asked
“Yeah “I replied
“It’s okay…eraswd her memory “ she asked
“yes mom…I am not doing it for the first time “ I snapped at her
“Anhay…you we’re not these much arrogant…what happened to you..why are you like this “ she asked me worriedly
“Don’t you Know mom….you are the one destroyed my peaceful life…you pushed me into this crap..”I pointed at trishna
“But Rk…its for your sake “she tried desperately
“No mom…I don’t want to talk about it….i will be like this for the entire life…try to cope up with it” I turned and left my mom dumbstruck.


Madhus POV

I opened my eyes and find myself sleeping on the staff’s bed.Ilooked around to see mishasat down near by and reading some medical journals
“Hi…misha “I called
“So the sleeping beauty is awake “ she said
I sat up on the bed and asked” how come …I am sleeping on the bed “
“I don’t know “she shrugged “you were sleeping when I came here “
I felt it odd and I thought about a few minutes .I saw Misha looking at me curiously.
“I don’t remembered when I slept..I remember reaching hospital in the morning and then everything is blank.” I said
“you might have been tired it something “ Misha said
“But Misha I…” my words are currently by Rk.he came to the room
“You fainted …I carried you here and allowed you to rest “ he said
“oh….thanks “ I said but I saw a pang of something in his eyes .,…guilt ??...but y ??...may be I am hallucinating.
I  climbed down the bed and felt a little dizzy soon someone caught me from falling .I looked at Rks blue or grey eyes…I was really confused about his eye color .I feels that it changes color but I didn’t bother to tell him about this so that he won’t get agitated .
“You are tired ,take some more rest and have something” he placed me back on the bed and took some food and fruit juice which was kept near my bed.i looked at him bewildered ,why he is showing me some concern.he was always hurting me with his harsh words.he looked away as if he can’t look in to my eyes ,it will burn him and took out the deep secrets in his soul.
“Thank you “ I thanked him ,he nodded and left me .
I looked at Misha and asked her “what happened to the jackass ?he is behaving nicely to me “
Misha smiled at me and gestured 'whatever”.but I felt her smile didn’t reach her eyes..there is something really wrong which I couldn’t put my finger into ..
“R u okay,now ? “ Misha asked
“Better …I guess…” I said her .
“I will drop you .Rk said you can have a paid leave today as you are tired “she said
“Oh..very generous of him “ I said sarcastically.
She helped me out of the bed and led me to the car.when we reached back she helped me to my room.she left me after making sure of my wellness. Sleep came over me before my thoughts of Rk left my brain.
I opened my eyes to the continuous rining of phone.i saw myself in the darkness and realized that I had slept for hours ,it been night outside.i reached for my phone on the night table and took the call.
“Hi …girlfriend.. hope you are free now “ jay said in his cheerful voice which brought a smile on my face
“Boyfriend…you got my mail “ I said
“Yeah..dumbo…I called you in the morning and we talked…forgotten it??...what you have some sort of amnesia or something “ he started laughing
“What??...you called me?..I…I don’t remember anything “ I said
“R u serious madhu.i was just kidding “ he said worriedly
“No…I might be tired..I fainted …that explains it “ I said yawning
“Oh god ,madhu…r u alright ??...do you need me there ?...where is trishna??...I want to talk with her “jay panicked
“oh..come on jay,I am not a little kid to be babysitted. “ I said little angrily.
“I am sorry madhu…but I am concerned about you…especially when,you are in their territory “ he said
“Territory ??...whose ?? “ I asked bewildered
“It.. it’s…nothing…I meant raichand own that region “ he stuttered
I got confused again.. what is wrong with raichands?And I asked it out.
“N…nothing madhu…I got to go….call u later “ he cut the call without letting me say anything.
Don’t you feel it weired if someone do like this  ….yes,right ?...I felt it too…really really weired and a little creepy…I always felt jay is hiding something and his mysterious side felt a little scary …and raichands …they are…
“oh.  .shut up ,madhu..” I scolded my crazy brain.
And then I thought of my sister and find out she is not at home.is she with Rk ??...I felt my heart aching..
I took my phone and dialed trishna..the call was took after some rings
“Hello , madhu…how do you feel now ?? “ A manly voice asked
“Wha…who are you ?? “ I asked surprised.i expected my sister’s voice .
“I am Rk “ jackass said in his arrogant voice.
“Why is her phone with you ??...where is she ??  “ I asked
“Well…she is my fiancee and obuviously she will be with me…I took her call because I knew it’s you and I don’t want you to be a third wheel in our Happy moments…” he said arrogantly
“Yeah the Godzilla raichand returns “ I mumbled
“What you said ??” he asked rudely
“Nothing…can I talk to her?? “ I asked
“No “ he said
“What ?? “ I asked
“R u deaf??...I said N.O….no” he said
“Where are you ? “ I asked
“That’s none of your business “ he said
I gritted my teeth and wanted to slap him harder on his smooth ,pale ,adorable..handsome face…what ??....good my uncontrollable thoughts…I groaned.i felt him chuckling…did I said it loud ??...no way…what if he can read my mind ??...no ,it’s stupid.
“Madhu,do you want me to convey any message to her??..she is sleeping “ he said
Sleeping??...why is she sleeping??....what if they had….no,,my mind screamed
“She was a little tired after work …don’t over think “ he said
“wo…don’t go there hah …I didn’t think of anything guttery “ I said
“Oh really…I meant about her being sick or something…..your mind is certainly guttery “ he said.i could imagine his smirk which I wanted to wipe out so badly.
“So what do you want to talk to her ?? “ he asked
“That’s none of your business” I retorted.i heard him laughing
I cut the call and throw the phone on the bed , stomping the ground like a child
