AIDEN'S POV

I hadn't gotten a wink of sleep the last night. I really wasn't feeling well. I took my soccer studs as I had selections today. I wanted to be captain of the soccer team.

I got to my class five minutes early, and sat on the seat I was sitting on earlier. Sophia noticed me, and waved to me, which sent butterflies to my stomach.

I waved back, and she made her way towards me. Uh oh. As much as I wanted to sit next to her, I knew that Fierro would go on a full-on frenzy if Sophia sat next to me.

Sophia took her seat next to me. I mindlinked the only other wolf in the campus. Amber.

'Amber, this is Aiden.' I introduced myself

'Yeah?' Amber said haughtily.

'Do you know that when mates don't mark each-other for forty eight hours, they kind of lose control of their wolf?' I stated

'I know. What's your point?'

'My forty-eight hours are up and Sophia is sitting next to me.' I said.

'Shit.' She cursed.

'I can't control Fierro for much longer. He's going to end up winning.' I told her.

'What do you want me to do?' Amber yelled.

I paused, 'No matter what, don't let me hurt Sophia. Please.'

'Ok.' Amber closed the mindlink.

The lecture started and I was losing my grip on my wolf. Sophia's scent was making me dizzy and lightheaded.
