Tiffany's POV

I'm getting used to it that Erika is with me. I'm comfortable with her, I feel safe when she's around. When she came to my life and live here with me, I feel secured. I can still feel her presence even if I'm in school. Eerie feeling.

But she reminds me of someone, her eyes are so similar with that someone. I want to forget her but because of this Erika, I can't stop thinking about her.

I love you Tiffany. I will always do.

I miss her so much. 

My best friend.

I woke up with my body clock, 6 am. It's my daily routine. I went out of my room and saw Erika balled in the couch with blanket that covered her tiny body. She's shorter than me and also the couch was small for her.

I tip toed as I walked towards her, I knelt down and stared at her face. She's like an angel. Why do I feel that I know her for a long time? I just met her. 

It was surreal, I know I was kinda drunk while driving back then, but I saw that she fell from above.

It's bizarre because it's an open high way. How could she fall from above? Am I too drunk? But I know what I saw.

I was snapped from my trance because Erika was awake staring at me! I accidentally looked her in the eyes. 

Those eyes, it can't be. I flinched then stood up awkwardly.

"Good morning Tip-fany..." Wait. Her voice sounds familiar to me. What's going on??

Erika sat up and I frowned when I saw her hair dyed. The bottom of it became blonde! No heck way.

"Your hair..." I'm speechless.

Erika looked down and saw her hair, she's shocked too.

"Did you color it?" I asked but she shook her head immediately. Don't make me laugh. She's just scaring me so I will just leave it, she can't prank me but how can she buy hair color? She don't have money.

"Be ready," I commanded.

"Why? It's still early..." Erika whined, she's so childish. Well I think I'm older than her.

"I thought you'll be my assistant today?" I coldly said.

Erika's face brighten "Really??" She yipped. "I'll be ready now! Whoohoo!" She jumped like she won in the lottery. She's adorable.

"Wear something decent" I said. She nodded vigorously. She's really excited and somewhat it made me smile.

While driving Erika was very amused looking outside the window. I guess it's her first time to see the outside world because she has amnesia, maybe she forgot all of it right? And when she went out of the hospital, it's already dark outside.

"This is so amazing Tiffany..." She cheekily said.

"Behave when I'm in class, just observe and listen. You can sit beside my students. I know you're same age with 'em." I explained.

Then she murmured under her breath.

"Did you say something?" I asked like I'm warning her.

"Maybe I'll find a girlfriend there, is that okay?" Erika asked looking at me.

I stopped the car then she almost bump her head on the dashboard.

I fumed "Get out!"

"What?"

"If you will just flirt there, get out!" I shouted. 

I don't like the idea that she'll gonna flirt and get a girlfriend there. I'm not jealous but I don't like it. 

What's this feeling? I can't control it. Am I being possessive to her? She's not my best friend!

"Okay okay..." Erika lifted her hands up in surrender "I'm just kidding I'm not pedophile but at least,  I want to have a friend."

"Whatever," I muttered then stepped on the gas pedal. 

Pedophile? What does she think of her? I know maybe she's just 18 or 19 and she's just like my student.

As we continued our short journey, Erika became silent but serious as if there's something wrong. She kept looking on the side mirrors, rearview mirror, left and right then back and front. I'm getting annoyed with her gestures.

"Can you please stop that Erika?" Gosh, she's really pissing me off! Yes, she resembles my best friend but their different!

"Stop the car," Erika sternly said.

"What?? Are you ordering me?" She's getting on my nerves!

"I said stop the damn car!" Erika yelled. 

And suddenly I stepped on the brake.

"What is your problem??" She's scary as she glowered at me. I feel small the way she looked at me though, I didn't look her in the eyes.

Then she leaned her head on the headrest and crossed her arms over her chest "Just wait."

"We're going to be late!" This was a bad idea! I hope I just left her in my apartment!

Then a truck from our back passed us by, it's so fast, it has no control. If I continued driving maybe it hit us thanks to Erika, it didn't happen. 

Wait? What?

She knows that it'll gonna happen? 

Then the truck hit the electric poll and it blasted. It was burning but it didn't explode that strong. I was stunned.

Erika was just calm beside me as she inspected her fingernails.

"Do you know other way going to school?" I just nodded. I'm still shocked, we almost died if I didn't stop. 

"Go now," Erika commanded. 

I didn't question her this time and just drive.

In school, I introduced Erika to my co-professors. They're quite shocked when they saw her. I can't blame them for that. I introduced her as my cousin and assistant, the dean allowed me to have her in my classes. She's lucky, she's beautiful because the dean was only attracted to beautiful things.

We headed to my first class and as we entered the room, my students became silent and just stared at us... at Erika.

"Is she a new student?" A guy asked impatiently. Erika was wearing jeans and blouse as I said, she's just like my student.

"Luckily, no. She's my assistant, Erika." Erika waved her hands to them, she's so adorable.

"Good morning! Nice to meet y'all! Behave children okay?" Then she winked.

The class gone crazy for a moment as they screamed and whistled.

She's so cute!

How old is she? She look young!

Can I put her in my bag and take her home?

She's familiar to me. She's like Miss Kim!

Is she her younger sister?

Shut it. 

I exasperatedly sighed.

I don't want you to date that guy. You're just mine!

I want you to know that I love you Tiffany... I love you more than best friend!

My hands squeezed into fists. 

What's that? Why it keeps bothering me? I'm moving on already! 

Then Erika held my hand it made me calm down. My hands loosed and not fists anymore then she intertwined our hands.

I looked at her and our eyes met for the third time! 

She grinned "It's okay Pani, they're all kids."

I softly laughed with what she said, she's a kid too. She's not exempted! 

I rolled my eyes as I gave my attention to my students "Now y'all zip your mouths and let's start our lesson!" I said with my husky tone.

I want to hold Erika's hand more but I need to start the class so I immediately pulled my hand  away from her "And you..." I looked at her "Sit wherever you want."

Erika smiled at me and nodded. She sat just in front, she's like my student huh?

Then a girl talked to her, oh, it's Juniel. I think she introduced herself to Erika. They shook hands and I couldn't take my eyes off them. 

Come on Tiffany! Focus!

And I started the lesson smooth, all the attention was on mine as I presented them my lecture for today. I walked through the class as I kept glancing at Erika, sometimes I caught Juniel that she's giggling. 

So, Erika was flirting with her?

I tried hard to control my feelings, I hate this situation. Am I jealous or what? What's wrong with my heart?

Erika said that she likes me but as I see her now, she's enjoying the company of Juniel. 

Juniel is the campus queen, she's choosy with her friends, hard to please but Erika broke it. They just met but they're close now? Well... Erika is kind and easy to like. She's childish but it's her cute side.

The tardy bell didn't ring yet, I gave their homework already. I want to get out now as I groaned quietly. I glanced at Juniel, the way she looked at Erika... It's different. Is she into girls? I thought she's straight gal. Guys are head over heels to her.

And Erika was obviously enjoying the situation. She's into girls. 

Then she looked at me and smirked. What the heck was that? Calm down Tiffany, just calm down.

Oh yes, finally. The bell rang and they're dismissed.

As I walked outside the classroom, I saw Erika and Juniel talking at the corridor.

"Can I have your number?" Juniel asked.

"Number?" Erika innocently asked. Ughh... I realized she doesn't have phone. Should I buy her? It's necessary.

"I mean, cellphone number?" Juniel giggled.

Erika scratched her head "Sorry but I don't have cellphone."

Juniel's forehead creased "Really? But why?"

Erika hummed "Actually, I don't have anything... Only Tiffany," I smiled at her statement.

"Professor Hwang is really kind. You're lucky because she's your cousin." Cousin? She's not my cousin! I mentally slapped my forehead.

"Hmm," Erika nodded.

"I really like you Erika. So, I'll see you tomorrow?" Juniel confessed.

"I like you too Juniel, you're kind. Thank you and see you," Erika gladly said.

"Bye Erika."

"Bye."

Then I showed myself to Erika, I saw Juniel was walking away and I just rolled my eyes.

"So... you got yourself a girlfriend huh?" First day but she attracted many of my students?

"She's just a friend," Erika plainly said. Friend but you said you like her??

"I have a date later with Siwon, maybe you take my car. Can you drive?" I changed the topic.

"Don't date that guy! You're mine!" What? Why it sounded familiar?

My eyebrows drew together "I'm not yours and I like Siwon! I like him so much. Don't tell me what to do! You're just nothing in my life! Don't expect too much! And I don't even like you!" Shit. I know it's below the belt, but she can't control me. I will do whatever I want. 

Ugh. I'm overreacting I know!

I stared at Erika, she's hurt I guess. I could see tears that threatened to fall at the side of her eyes. I feel guilty like my stomach was dropped down. 

Suddenly, Erika laughed sarcastically.

"Pani, I know you like me too." She cockily said. So? She's still full of herself?

"Pani? What the hell is that?" Erika was looking around as if she was checking someone "Don't call me like that! And I said-"

I was cut off by her kiss. Gosh! She kissed me like seriously?

I froze as my mouth gaped like I'm a dumb fish. Those soft lips gave shivers down my spine!

It was so familiar to me, Erika gave electric shocks through my body and it awakes me.

She smirked and winked, I want to scold her but I couldn't move. I was completely dumbfounded. 

Then Erika walked away, I don't know where did she go. She just disappeared. 

That twit! She took advantage of me! Ughhh!!!! This can't be happening but, I... 

I... Couldn't stop....

I just... I... I...

I sighed in defeat.

I like the kiss. 

I think, I like it.
