Baekhyun's POV

I was looking at Erika, she was so weak and it hurts that I couldn't do anything about it. I still can't forget about her accident with the bus and it was like we were in that situation again. I couldn't help her, I don't have powers. She was dying and I know she failed her mission that why she was suffering like this.

Erika just popped up in my living room, it drained her because she used her power even if she was already weak.

Her time has come, I know any moment she will disappear and back to heaven. Her soul belongs to that place.

I closed my windows here in my room but Erika filled it with her glowing light. Her body was glowing and different color of lights were began to evaporate from her body. I think those lights that became smoke represents her powers. It were disappearing.

I groaned, where is she? Erika will be gone soon! 

I did it, I called Tiffany. It's all I can do for them in this moment. They need to talk, Tiffany should know the truth about Erika and her past. She deserve to know it.

Then my phone vibrated, I received a message from Tiffany informing me that she was in front of my house.

"She's here Erika."

Erika barely breathed "Wh-what do you mean?" She weakly said, she almost mumbled her words.

"Tiffany, I called her," I stood up.

"Why? I already talked to her in her dream!"

"She deserves to know the truth! And for you to have proper goodbye. Don't be unfair to her Erika," I sternly said then I walked out of the room. I went straight to the door and opened it.

I saw Tiffany, she's broken with her bloodshot eyes. She looked grim and miserable.

"Where is Erika? Please, I need to see her," Tiffany said with her croak voice.

"She's in my room, her time will be up. Hurry!" I said then we walked towards my room and stopped in front of it. I held the door knob.

"Are you ready Tiffany?" I asked and she hastily nodded. I twisted the door knob and opened it revealing Erika was glowing in the dark.

Tiffany looked shocked at the scene, she was shaking too. I don't know if she's afraid.

"Go in, you're running out of time Tiffany,"  she nodded and entered the room.

"Erika..." She said as she sat on the side of bed. She held Erika's hand tightly. She was already crying.

I admire Tiffany, she's brave.

Everything happened was freakish and abnormal but she just stayed here for Erika. She didn't run away or scream but instead, she moved closer to Erika.

"Pani ah, I don't like you to see me like this. Just go away," Erika said with her groggy voice.

"So it's true, you're my guardian angel?" Tiffany ignored Erika's statement.

"Yes, we really talked a while ago," Erika confirmed it.

"Please Erika, can you fight for me? Just stay here. Please I'm begging you, don't leave me," Tiffany leaned down as begged Erika to stay.

"I'm sorry but I can't do anything about it Tiffany I failed my mission. My time is over." Erika said as she tried to hold Tiffany's face but she didn't reach it. She's so weak to move her body.

"Erika... I will admit it now. I don't care anymore how much you reminds me of Taeyeon. All I know is I love you. I love you and I want you to stay with me. I'm in love with you Erika. I don't care about what people will say, I don't want to lose you. Please..." Tiffany held Erika's face, she got hysterical with her emotions.

"Really... You love me?" Erika cheekily said as her tears escaped from her eyes.

Tiffany nodded "I love you Erika... Please... Stay."

"But it's late," I chimed in. 

Yes. It was time already. Tiffany was late.

"Pani ah, can you get the box on the nightstand?"

Tiffany didn't ask anymore and just took the box.

"Keep it. It's my gift like a remembrance?" Erika chuckled.

Tiffany opened the box and she saw two necklaces with lock and key pendants. It's a couple thing.

"I hope you'll not forget about me Pani, I love you so much. Always remember that."

Tiffany put the box down on the nightstand then leaned down and held Erika's hand "I can't live without you Erika..."

Erika frowned "Don't say that... please live. Promise me, that you'll gonna live. Do it for yourself and for me."

Tiffany's eyes flooded with tears, it just kept going. I could feel their pain for parting and I felt so bad about it.

It's too late, Erika will disappear soon. 

Why people need to suffer this kind of torture? Erika and Tiffany have good hearts, they just fall in love with each other... is that a bad thing? It just happened that they're both girls. 

They say it's a sin but seeing these two, they're perfectly made for each other. They're connected to each other, synchronized. They became one because of the love. 

I gave up my feelings for Taeyeon because I knew, I had nothing to do with her. Her love is just for Tiffany and I accepted it long time ago.

"Why? Why all people that I love leave me? My parents died, Taeyeon died, and now Erika... you'll gonna leave me. Please... no... don't...." Tiffany was overemotional, frantic and out of control now. I couldn't bear the too much emotions in my room. 

They deserved to be happy.

I was fighting back my tears, I needed to be strong.

This was terrible, Erika started to fade from her feet to her legs. It disappeared like a smoke in the air.

Tiffany petrified and she panicked "No no... This can't be happening... no Erika... please," she held Erika's cheek and kissed her for the last time.

"I love you Pani, you made me happy here on earth. Live Pani, promise me. Please?" Erika implored as the half of her body already disappeared like a smoke yet, she was still glowing.

"I promise, I love you too Erika... I love you..." Tiffany said while sobbing and sniffling.

"I'm happy to hear that, I'm contented now. Sweet goodbye." After the last word, Erika disappeared and my room was back to its usual, it was all dark.

I could still hear Tiffany's mournful cry. I turned on the switch of the light, my room was normal again as if nothing happened here. Tiffany was sitting on the floor while her fists on my bed.

I stepped closer to her and knelt down. I rubbed her back and she suddenly hugged me, very tight. She was still crying and I feel her.

Losing the one you love is really painful. I just let her cry and cry. She needs to take it out, all the pain.

After some time, Tiffany calmed down and we were sitting on the couch in my living room.

"So you know everything?" Tiffany asked looking at me, attentively.

I nodded "Erika is still human with angel abilities. Her mission was to protect you from dangers and for you to fall in love with her in 25 days. It was kinda insane right? Love for 25 days? But she did it, you just came late and I'm sorry for that."

"It's my fault again..." Tiffany said as she looked down at the box that Erika gave, it was on her lap.

I know the pain is still there and it'll not leave her in that quick.

"Don't blame yourself, Erika would be mad if you do that. And there's one thing that you need to know about Erika's past." Tiffany looked up at me with her teary eyes. "You deserve to know it. Erika was Taeyeon before, she just had a new body and name. However, she's still Taeyeon, her soul. I know you could feel it Tiffany."

Again, tears ran down on her cheeks. That painful eyes averted from me as she bowed down.

"She came back for you Tiffany even for just 25 days. I know she's happy and maybe she's in heaven now. So please, be happy too. That's what Erika wants... or Taeyeon rather." I need to look after her, I know Taeyeon will ask for that.

"Why you know this Baekhyun?" Tiffany asked, her voice became rough from crying.

"Because I was, once, a guardian angel. I was Taeyeon's guardian angel, it was my fault why she died. I lost my powers because I fell in love with her. I failed to protect her that's why I'm here on earth. I was punished," I explained then Tiffany looked at me.

She frowned "Baekhyun... what's happening to you?"

I looked down on myself, I was glowing like Erika before then my hands began to dissolve.

"What's happening to you?" Tiffany frantically asked.

"I- I don't know..."

"Baekhyun..."

Then everything went blank for a moment. 

I opened my eyes and looked around the place. 

So, I'm back to this place?

I stared at the mirror to see my reflection, I'm wearing white steampunk clothes and my wings spread wide. 

It was back. 

I am back where I belong.
