That morning Phil rushed into the lounge to see (Y/n) and Dan on the couch. "Guys!!! Guys!!!" Yelled Phil. "Calm dow what is it," said Dan freaked out. Phil noticed (Y/n) push the knife she had behind her back through the crack in between the cushions. "What," she sighed. "Follow me," he said excited as he charged out of the room and they ran after him. Phil ran and held open the door to the roof. They were speechless.

Phil got the circle ready last night! Everything from the symbols, to the mound of coal in the middle. The rosary, holy water, and feathers were in place. "Listen I've seen FMA and this seems like some human transmutation shit," said Dan unsure. "This is totally different," she smiled. "Ok but if I wake up with my leg or arm missing and Phil in a suit of armor, we're fucked," sasses Dan. "Please. If it fails I probably will just stay the same.... probably," she said looking at the circle. "Isn't it suppose to be in a basement," she asked. "Well actually in the book it says it will due better under the sky. I read it front to back," he smiled. "Wow. I'm impressed. When did you sleep," she asked. "Oh I didn't," chucked Phil. "I have no idea what's going on," said Dan completely lost. "Oh well she's been trying to kill you and with this circle you're safe," said Phil quickly. "WHAT!" Yelled Dan. "It's complicated. Don't worry about it. It will all be clear soon. Just do as your friend does and I'll be an angel," she smiled releasing her demon form. Dan backed up and was about to run when Phil grabbed his arm.

"And if you are, will you still try to kill Dan," asked Phil hopefully. "I don't know. I'm almost out of time. If I fail then Satan may just kill me instead when I get back to hell. Oxymoron I know," she said as she walked into the middle of the circle. "Even though we shared a moment or two," whispered Phil, but Dan and (Y/n) didn't hear him. "Honestly all this for a pair of wings seems a little much," said Dan. "True, but it's not like we have a choice," sighed Phil. "True, I'd rather not die," said Dan super nervous. Dan as Phil got out the paper with the chant written on it. Everything was ready and Phil began to read aloud the chant. The circle began to glow and other symbols began to dance around her. She grew an angel wing and her hair grew gold.... yet soothing was wrong. She grew a bat wing and her eyes glowed red! "What's going on!"Phil yelled breaking the chant and the symbol collapsed. (Y/n) stood there motionless for a moment. In the silence Dan glanced at Phil who look petrified.

(Phil's Pov)

Did it fail.... did the purification just fail, I thought she'd be ok. I watched her body collapse. The angel wing and bat wing disintegrating and her eyes emptying. Like it was possible to use an eraser on a person. "But I did everything right.... I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT!" I cried. Dan tried to hug me but I pushed him away. I didn't even register my body run to her. I fell to my knees and I lost it. I bursts into tears. There was (Y/n)... Her eyes were hazy and her skin was so cold. I could hear my heart so loudly. With each pulse, it hurt. Suddenly her body began to softly glow. When the light stopped. She looked like she could be ok. "Hey what's wrong? Why are you crying for a demon," she whispered. She used the last of her strength to say that. "I love you," I mumbled into her shoulder as I hugged her till her very last pulse.

She was a demon who didn't belong in hell and an angel that couldn't retreat to heaven.
