Location: Soejammy's House

Date: February 17th, 2023 - Friday

Time: Afternoon - 5:00 p.m.

Twilight was conversing with Nintega and Kitty about recent events with what happened the Saturday before over Discord.

Nintega (Call): Damn... Why did that have to happen to Jammy...

Kitty (Call): Star Platinum was so precious to Jammy... How is he holding up, Twilight?

Twilight looked sad as a flashback saw some times where Soejammy would just sit in his room, hardly do anything and just either play video games or rest.

Twilight: It's... It's been bad... Dad hardly comes out of his room after coming home, only when needing to do stuff around the house and to make food. My friends, excluding Rainbow Dash, have tried to cheer him up... Had it not been for my Dad to keep us safe, we wouldn't be here... But it was because of me that his guard was put down and got Star Platinum taken from him. Even ICEY has tried to cheer him up...

Nintega (Call): Can't believe ICEY even showed herself. Must've been that bad if the Darkness was out of control for him...

Kitty (Call): What do we do now??? If he knows about Jammy, what will happen to our skills??? What if he gets Crazy Diamond? What about my Legions???

Twilight looked confused as she tilted her head.

Twilight: "Crazy Diamond"? "Legions"?? You're saying you two have power disks of your own???

Nintega (Call): Exactly what we're implying here, Twilight. Like Jammy, we have disks that give us powers too. Kitty gets to have 5 due to the specific power she has.

Kitty (Call): Hey, just because I get 5 of them, doesn't mean you have to be jealous~

Nintega (Call): I am not jealous!!!

Twilight: Can we put that aside right now??? If you two were able to get powers yourselves, then what do we need to do to make a power disk???

Nintega (Call): It wasn't that simple, in fact, we gained these due to a nemesis Jammy fought. We haven't seen him since...

Kitty (Call): No doubt he might try to come back for Jammy if word gets to him though...

Twilight: Well, we have to do something! We can't let what happened last Saturday happen again! We need to think how Dad can keep his powers permanently...

??? (Call): May I interject?

Twilight: Huh? Who's that???

Nintega (Call): Y-You really sure??? What about-?

A poofing sound could be heard as it was out of camera shot to be seen.

Nintega (Call): Oh, very clever of you.

??? (Call): Thank you. Now, can I please?

Nintega (Call): Oh! Right! Of course!

Moving out of the way, Twilight was about to ask what was going on, when she gasped. When looking at the screen, she saw another Twilight looking at her.

Twilight: Y-You're me!?

Twilight (Call) (Nintega's): Of course I'm you. Well, that of many different versions. But let's just say that you weren't the first to meet Jammy.

Twilight dropped her jaw as she recovered fast and looked at herself.

Twilight: Okay... Well, what can you do to help my Dad...?

Twilight (Call) (Nintega's): If we wish for Jammy to keep any new powers and make sure they are part of his biological systems and not an inserted disk, we need to think deeper.

Twilight: Meaning...?

Twilight (Call) (Nintega's): We need to implant Jammy powers down to his cellular DNA, atomic if possible.

Kitty (Call): But what will we need to do for it???

Twilight from Nintega's side smiled as she had an idea.

Twilight (Call) (Nintega's): Easy. And I know just the ticket too. But we also need to find a game compatible with what can help make this happen. Other me? Has Jammy been watching games lately on YouTube?

Twilight: Umm... Yes? A game called inFamous...?

Twilight (Call) (Nintega's): Then we shall begin first thing in the morning. Nintega?

Nintega (Call): Oh, I see where this is going...

Soejammy came in as the door chime went off like usual, but like what was happening recently, Soejammy decided to head upstairs, only to come down later for when dinner needed to be made.

Twilight: Don't worry, Dad... I got us in this mess... I'm going to get you out of it...

Date: February 18th, 2023 - Saturday

Time: Morning - 9:00 a.m.

Soejammy was currently sleeping in his bed as his covers were being pulled from him softly. Soejammy groaned as he pulled them back up as he wanted to sleep more. A second time, the covers were pulled down more as Soejammy grunted while pulling the covers up.

Soejammy: Stop it. Let me sleep.

Giggling could be heard as this time, the covers were pulled off completely as Soejammy shot his eyes open and sat up to see Pinkie and Rainbow Dash head down the stairs with his blanket.

Soejammy: Pinkie! Dash! Give me that blanket back!

Rainbow Dash: Finders keepers!!

Soejammy: I was using that blanket!!

Pinkie Pie: Not now you're not~!

Soejammy: RAGH!!

Soejammy got up and began to follow them to get his blanket back. Once he was downstairs, he began to look for the two when something went over his head while being knocked over to be held down.

Soejammy: H-Hey! What's going on?!

Applejack: Calm down, sugar cube.

Rarity: We're just trying to help you.

Soejammy: Unhand me! Let me out of this!

Soejammy then felt his hands and ankles being tied together as he was then lifted up.

Soejammy: Where are you taking me!?

Fluttershy: Everything will be okay, Mr. Jammy.

Mini-Nep: Nepu!!

Soejammy: Mini-Nep?! My tiny daughter!? You traitor!!

Rainbow Dash: Still don't see how she is your daughter still...

Soejammy: Adoption!!

Rainbow Dash: Still don't see it.

Soejammy began to try and struggle his way out as he was flipping in the air.

Soejammy: When I get out of these restraints, there will be HELL to pay!!!

Pinkie Pie: Why pay with that when it can be with cupcakes???

Soejammy: THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!!

Location: ???

Soejammy was then placed down, or rather dropped onto the floor with a thud.

Soejammy: You know, a little warning of being dropped would have been nice.

Twilight: What the-!? I said to ask him to come here! Not tie him up!

Rainbow Dash: This was more hilarious.

Pinkie Pie: Yup. It was fun listening to him yell. His saltiness is just as funny when not streaming. Maybe clip worthy~

Soejammy: Hey! I resent that statement!!

Pinkie Pie: Hahahahahaha! See!?

Soejammy: CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!? I HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED AND RUDELY AWAKENED!!!

Twilight: I'm so sorry, Dad! Here!

Poofing away the restraints and then the cover on his head, Soejammy then cracked his wrists and ankles.

Soejammy: Okay... Much better... Now... WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!?

Appearing from the shadows, Nintega and his Twilight show themselves.

Soejammy: Le gasp!!! You?!

Nintega: YES! IT WAS I, NINTEGA!!!

Silence filled the room as Nintega's Twilight hoofpalmed.

Twilight (Nintega's): Was that REALLY necessary...?

Nintega: Jammy gave me the perfect setup!

Soejammy: Don't ruin this for us!!

Both Twilight's looked at each other and sighed while having to deal with the same chaos.

Twilight (Soejammy's): Guess Nintega is just as bad with you in references?

Twilight (Nintega)'s: You have no idea... Put these two together and they cause even MORE chaos...

Twilight (Soejammy's): How bad can they-

Nintega's Twilight looked at her counterpart and stopped what she was about to say.

Twilight (Soejammy's): That bad?

Twilight (Nintega's): Try causing the most havoc in the world, against one giant sand head of a cat... Yeah, you heard me. They even used the enemies they faced to smash it around!

Nintega: To be fair, it was controlled by the Heartless.

Soejammy: We did our friends a favor in getting into there without them getting hurt. Well, except for flamboiling a certain duck, but I make my point!!!

Rainbow Dash: Wait, you really did that? Cool.

Fluttershy: What did a duck ever do to you???

Soejammy: Lie to us, use us, and try to play with our hearts. I say he deserved it. He's changed now since he knows that without us, he wouldn't get anywhere. But definitely thinks better about others before himself now. I made sure of that.

Both Twilights looked at each other and sighed.

Nintega: Besides talking about the duck, there is an actual reason for you to be here, my brother.

Soejammy looked at Nintega and sighed.

Soejammy: Look, if it's because you're here to cheer me up or give me some pep talk, I don't think anything is going to cheer me up from what happened...

Rainbow Dash: So, did we LITERALLY waste our time helping out here? Can we go?

Applejack: Rainbow! Give some respect!

Rainbow Dash: What!? He's the one acting downer than Fluttershy would be. No offense.

Fluttershy: None taken...

Soejammy got up and patted himself off as he looked at the ponies.

Soejammy: Sorry for my brother making you do this and bring me here. Wherever this place is.

Nintega: But Jammy...

Soejammy turned around and pointed to his butt.

Soejammy: No butts. I'm going back home and figuring out how to handle this situation. It's my problem to fix. No one else.

Soejammy headed to the door of the place they were at as he opened it and exited through it.

Twilight (Soejammy's): I'm sorry... I thought he would accept the-

Looking at Nintega and other Twilight, the ponies and Mini-Nep questioned what was going on.

Applejack: What did you do?

Nintega: Nothing~

Pinkie Pie: You obviously did something.

Twilight (Nintega's): We have no idea what you're talking about.

Nintega: Besides, we intend to help Jammy. Whether he likes it or not!

Twilight (Soejammy's): What do you mean?

Nintega tapped on the wall behind him as it soon disappeared along with all the other walls around them. Around them was a room that belonged to Nintega as where the door used to be led to a device.

Twilight (Soejammy's): What is that!?

Nintega: This device here is what Jammy and I used when we had fun when jumping into games. We even played Among Us.

Twilight (Nintega's): Yes. Your dad really was a smooth talker and convincer when as an imposter. We even teamed up as he played as a detective while I was secretly picking off the others one by one. The others had no idea what hit them.

The others besides Nintega fuming about that one game as Applejack spoke to Rainbow Dash.

Applejack: Got to be careful around him then...

Rainbow Dash: You think!?

Twilight (Soejammy's): Okay... If Dad didn't go through a regular door and into there, where did you two send him???

Nintega: Why don't you take a look.

Raising an eyebrow, Twilight then went over to the T.V and looked inside.

Soejammy's point of view

Game: inFAMOUS

Location: Empire City, Warren District

Time: Night

Soejammy: Geez. What the hell was Nintega thinking about getting me kidnapped like that? Was he out of his head or something? I have no idea what goes through his head someti-

Halting in his walk, I looked around my surroundings along with the way the city looks.

Soejammy: Damn. This place went down the crapper. What the hell happened he-

Before I could ask that question, gun fire could be heard as I looked over to see a group of people wearing trash bags and clutter on them with masks to cover their faces.

Soejammy: Why the hell are they wearing garbage???

Seeing me, the people aimed their guns at my direction as I noticed what they were about to do.

Soejammy: SON OF A BITCH!!!

Beginning to run for my life, gunfire was occurring as I was having to duck behind a car for protection. Getting a feeling I've seen the cars around me before, I decided to take a look around to see a railway above me, a bridge raised up being disconnected from another island, quarantine signs around the place and then one more look at the group of people shooting in my direction. When I took a real close look, I widened my eyes before quickly ducking back into cover.

Soejammy: NINTEGA! YOU BITCH!! YOU SENT ME INTO THE INFAMOUS SERIES!?!?!

I was yelling to the top of my lungs as I quickly looked to see where the enemies were as they were still getting closer.

Soejammy: I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME!!! I RECOGNIZED THESE ENEMIES BEFORE!! THESE ARE THE DUST MEN!!!

Before I knew anything, I went into a cinematic cutscene moment with comic book quality lining.

Soejammy (Narrator): Yeah. I know just who these assholes are. These are the Dust Men. People in Empire City were left to fend for themselves AND even having to survive by any means necessary. Even resorting to killing people for food and shelter. Worst of all, I would have wanted to deal with Sasha. A Conduit with special powers. Conduits are basically people with super powers buried deep within them. But after the Ray Sphere explosion happened, everything changed in Empire City. Factions like the Reapers were controlled by Sasha, a Conduit that can infect people with this sludge-like stuff and control their minds. Alden, a prodigy and successor to the First Sons, at least he would have been if a certain person known as Kessler didn't take over. Word is he lives in the streets to this day as he plots his revenge and gathers hopeless people for his cause. I honestly think he's just using them for his own gain. Alden could almost take on an army alone with his telekinetic powers if he wanted, but even he has to have limits with his old age. Then there's Kessler, the whole reason this place is in the crapper to begin with. But I guess that's something to worry about another time, because I have my own situation on my hands...

As I snapped out of my narration talk, the Dust Men were nearing my location as I had to think of something fast. Seeing a pipe near my feet, I quickly reached for it and grabbed it.

Soejammy: (This is nuts, this is nuts, this is nuts...!)

Right when one of the Dust Men was about to round the car, I got up quickly and swung the pipe to their head. With the others nearby, they were about to open fire, when I quickly ducked behind the car for cover and lure them in. I heard walking on both sides of the car as I had to crawl under the car itself. It was very dangerous as they could trap me and then shoot me. I didn't have many choices in my favor. As I crossed the other side, the two Dust Men that were left to try and deal with me, but didn't know where I went. I got up and got close to one of them from behind as I decided for some banter fun.

Soejammy: Hey. Looking for me?

Surprising one of them, I swung the pipe to their head as I threw the pipe at the other one still standing as I got on top of the car and drop kicked the last one standing. When the first Dust Man was getting back up, I quickly ran over to slam them against the hood of the vehicle as I took some deep breaths.

Soejammy: Aw crap... That was intense...!

???: Yes. Intense for you, boy.

Hearing that voice, I began to look behind me and see something that should only come in a nightmare. Behind me, was Alden Tate. The LAST person I wanted to see in this area as I didn't want to deal with him right now.

Alden: So, what's someone like you doin' messin' with my Dust Men???

Soejammy: To be fair, they were going to kill me. So, I don't know what you were-

Being pushed away with his mental powers, I was flung towards a wall and was pressed against it. I struggled to move as Alden casually walked up to me.

Alden: Who are you?

Soejammy: Just a casual tourist that- NGH!!!

I could feel something being gripped on as it was a rib. I looked at Alden as he was using his power to bring pain to me.

Alden: Stop playing tricks. There was a strange energy that happened around here. Where is it, boy?

Soejammy: I don't know what you're talking about man...!

Being pulled from the wall and crashing back into it, Alden glared at me.

Soejammy: AUGH!!!

Alden: You're lying to me!!

I looked at Alden as I wanted to beat him up, but I don't have Star Platinum to counter him at all... Then I felt intense pain as I looked to see iron bars were being lifted by Alden as he used them to stab into me!

Soejammy: AUUUUUUUGH!!!!

Alden: Talk! And maybe I'll let you go.

Soejammy: Your Dust Men never leave anyone alive...! Why would you?! You're nothing, but a garbage man who lives in garbage and rots in it... Just like how you rot when your position of power was taken from you as a child...!

Alden: BE QUIET!!!

Taking another iron bar being pushed into me, I yelled out in pain as I couldn't move from the wall if I wanted to. The pain was nauseating as my head was spinning. I felt like throwing up from the pain I felt as Alden looked at me.

Alden: And JUST how do you know what my life has been like?

Soejammy: Wouldn't you like to know...

Alden: I'll make you talk.

Lifting more iron bars, he intended to use all of them on me and threaten to kill me with them.

Alden: Talk, and maybe I'll spare you.

Soejammy: You'll kill me regardless. Don't even pretend to give me hope...

Alden: Fine. But don't say I didn't TRY being nice.

Seeing the iron bars begin to fly at me, I closed my eyes as I felt my consciousness fade for a moment. It would have faded completely if a destructive force radiated from me when the thought of leaving Twilight all alone. I lurched as I yelled out as shadow-like arms reached out to the bars flying at me and grabbed them from the air. Alden was surprised by this as he put more force to make the iron bars penetrate me.

Soejammy: GET OFF ME!!! NGH!!!!

I felt my body shift as I passed through the bars already piercing my body. I landed on the ground as the bars flew into the wall where I was just at. Alden looked at me as if he had seen a ghost, but his shock turned into anger and rage faster than a certain Duck I know.

Alden: A CONDUIT!? You must be working for Kessler!!! I'll kill him! I'll kill you!!

Soejammy: I won't let you kill me!!!

Swinging my arm, I tried to strike at Alden, but he used his telekinetic power to move himself away as fast as he could away from me.

Alden: So! Kessler sent you after me!?

Soejammy: Screw you and Kessler! I don't work for him!!

Alden: Lies!!!

Looking to my left, I see a car fly at me as I felt pressured and used my Darkness to make a Dark Hand with my left to grab it. But for Alden, it was a distraction as I looked to my right, and saw a rocket shoot the car and explode it right in front of me. I never knew what hit me until I saw it. The explosion sent me flying back into the alley as I crashed into a wall hard as I bounced off it and landed on the ground. Alden and his goons were about to end my life. That was, until I heard someone call out.

???: Hey!! Leave him alone!!

Alden and his men looked up as electricity shots were fired. They were blue in color as one Dust Men went down as Alden looked furious.

Alden: You won't get me, Electric Man!!!

Alden then began to head out as another Dust Man was giving cover fire until he went down. I saw a person run across the alley I was in as they were wanting to head after Alden, but decided to come towards me.

???: Hey. Hey! Are you okay?? I saw what happened. You're going to be fine.

I could barely hear the person in front of me. But when I had that last chance to look, I saw someone that surprised me. Making sure I was okay, was Cole Macgrath. Before I knew it, I was out cold.

Location: Medic Station

Waking up with a groggy head, I opened my eyes to see the stars above me. I began to sit up and look down to see some bandages wrapped around me. I tried to remember what happened to me, but then someone that looked like a Doctor approached.

Doctor: Hello sir, please lie back down.

Soejammy: I'm fine. I'm not in any pain.

Doctor: Sir, if Mr. Macgrath didn't bring you here, you-

The Doctor's words faded out of my hearing as I took another look around my place and forgot I was still in a video game still.

Soejammy: Augh... Damn it all...

I reached for the bandages and looked to see if there were any wounds.

Soejammy: See? No wounds. I'm fine like a bird that can fly. Can I GO now???

The Doctor looked at me and saw that my injuries that were there before were gone. I sighed as the Doctor didn't seem to mind that I could go, but I wanted to get away as fast as I could. Not just for these people's sakes, but to ensure Alden won't attack them while I'm here. As soon as I left the Medic Station, I began to try and figure out what to do since I was here. I couldn't really get out thanks to the stunt Nintega and the others put me through, so why did they put me here???

Soejammy: Augh... What the hell were they thinking??? Do they want my nerves to go out of control and hurt someone here???

As if trying to ask someone, my question leaves unanswered.

Soejammy: Whatever... If I get through this game, I'll be sure to-

???: Hey.

Being spooked, I jumped and landed on my ass from the suddenness of being spoken to.

???: Whoa. Whoa. Calm down. I'm not here to hurt you.

When looking behind me, I looked to see one person I could always trust and know. Someone I look up to as the biggest hero in my eyes in terms of playing this game.

Soejammy: You. You're... You're Cole Macgrath.

Cole: You know of me?

Soejammy: I mean, sure you delivered the bomb. But you've been trying to help others to rebuild your reputation. Build the trust of others. You're like a hero!!

Cole: Let's not go there. Look, what are you doing out here? Not long ago, you were injured badly. Now you're here standing on your feet.

Soejammy: I heal fast. I don't let injuries like those keep me down. Trust me. Experience.

Cole: And from what I know, someone doesn't live from an explosion and walks away from it that easily. In my eyes, you're the weirdo here.

Soejammy: And that just hurts.

Cole rolled his eyes and crossed his arms in frustration.

Cole: Just talk. I know you had those... Arms and whatever that was. I saw everything unfold in front of me from the rails. You were impaled, took care of those Dust Men, and held a car back from you while a rocket blew it up. You're lucky to be alive. Unless you had something keeping you alive.

I began to sweat as Cole was asking all the right questions, but trust with Cole is the best thing I got.

Soejammy: Cole. I'm not going to lie to you. Like you, I have my own... "special" powers. But they're more on the unstable side of things.

Cole: "Unstable"??? What's that supposed to-

A rocket shot could be heard as I looked up to see a Dust Man aimed it at us from the roof. Time seemed to slow down as I looked at it. There were people around us as this situation was more dire.

Soejammy: (Crap! Is this guy nuts!? He's going to kill these people here! Not only that, but Cole. If I just save him, it could bring my trust up, but the people would be eviscerated...)

Coming up with an idea, I swore I was going to be insane trying to keep using more of my power to do this. I gathered my Darkness around the area as I created a Dark Hand to reach and grab the rocket from the sky and throw it back at the Dust Man above. The guy didn't know what hit him until he realized that it came right back at him.

Cole: What the HELL was that???

Soejammy: What I used to fight that old man... Powers of Shadows I like to say.

Cole: Damn. Wish I had someone like you when fighting that woman.

Soejammy: What woman?

I had to play dumb when talking to Cole. He was perceptive or at least, aware of stuff around him. If I revealed too much, I could be risking his trust.

Cole: A crazy woman called Sasha. Let's just say she made my life HELL whenever her sludge got on me. It was even turning people into Reapers over in the Neon District.

Soejammy: Damn. Talk about girl problems.

Cole: You don't know the half of it. She was even crazy for me for some reason...

Soejammy: Yeah... Crazy...

Cole: What did that guy want with you???

Soejammy: Augh... That guy was Alden. He thinks I work for Kessler. I think you've already met Kessler.

Cole: Wait, you mean that old ass white lab coat man?

Soejammy: Yeah. Even the same guy who caused you to deliver the stupid Ray Sphere.

Cole: You mean the stupid object that gave me my powers?

Soejammy: Which people think it was a bomb.

Cole looked at me with suspicion in his eyes. Giving me that he was getting weary of trusting me.

Cole: How do you know all of this?

Soejammy: I just have my ways. But I want you to know that I'm on your side. Even if things get dicey. And if you see me as a threat, you can shock me till I pass out and turn me over to the cops. That's how much trust I am giving to you. I will never attack you unless there is a reason.

Cole: Ngh... Fine. But make one mistake that gives me a reason, and you're toast.

Soejammy: Cole, you have no idea how much good you've done. You're an inspiration to me. Honest.

Cole: Whatever... Look, I got to head to the next substation. Don't know if you noticed, but I have a lot on my hands.

Soejammy: Of course! I would probably slow you down! Go do what you need to do man!

Cole: Okay. If I see you again. Let's see some more of your powers at work. Could use a partner like you.

With that, Cole began to leave as I watched him head to the next substation.

Soejammy: Best. Experience. Ever... Of all time.

As I watched Cole run off and climb buildings, I looked at myself as I was stuck here for a bit.

Soejammy: Ah hell... What can I do now? I guess I can go sightseeing. But with that going on, I would probably be attacked again if Alden's goons even see me. I'm probably on their hit list. Oh well. I can just-

Hearing some gunfire, I looked to see a shootout happening as I rushed to go see what it was. At a police station, I saw the Dust Men attacking the station as the police were pinned down.

Soejammy: Those rotten. If Cole was here, he-

But Cole wasn't going to be here. Not for a little while that was. It was going to take him some time to go through the substation area before he got back. By the time he would, the police could be dead by then.

Soejammy: Of all times... What are they going to do???

As I thought, I looked at my own hands as I clenched them.

Soejammy: Come on Jammy... You may be Standless... But you've never stopped helping someone before... I just... I just need to stay calm...

I tried to focus as a pain in my heart resonated inside me as I went to my knees in pain.

Soejammy: Augh...! Damn...! Why does my good consciousness have to betray me...!

I began to take deep breaths as I needed to focus hard. I focused on what I wanted as a dark cloak of armor appeared on me. I slowly focused on how it appeared on me to make it look normal. It was the Darkness Armor. A side power I learned to keep myself safe from even the littlest damage dealt to me. But it had a drawback. Maintaining this power was a huge price to pay. It would take my own stamina and energy to keep physical. Any damage lowered my supply fast on the type of attack. A heavy hit, heavy drain. Against these bozos, they would be nothing for long. Not to mention it gives a boost to my physical capabilities. I kept focusing until the armor was ready.

Soejammy: Show time.

Appearing out of my hiding place, I went to an empty car and lifted it up from underneath. As I used the top of the car as a makeshift shield, I began feeling some impacts hit the car through vibrations.

Soejammy: That's it, losers. Eyes on me you bozos.

I set the car down as I tore off a wheel on it and poked my head up. Aiming for the nearest enemy, I threw the wheel as I hit them in the head. With me distracting the enemies, the cops were able to get in close and take them into custody eventually. When the cops were done, I was about to make my leave when one approached me.

Officer: Hey. I saw what you did for us. The help was really appreciated.

Soejammy: Tough times, desperate situations. Just doing what was right.

Officer: Regardless, not sure where you came from, the help is appreciated. Thank you.

It felt nice. Being thanked for something someone normal could do. It warmed my heart when I could do this when I was calm.

Soejammy: That... Means a lot more hearing that than anything. You're welcome.

I began to walk off, but looked at my arm as I took a breath to focus on a Dark Whip. A tool to not only pull enemies to me, but traverse. It was... Memorable. Using these powers, but not losing control of them. It was just like when I trained to hone the Darkness again, not let it control me, but not lose sight of my objectives. Using the whip, I then went to the roof fast as the whip was used to pull me up high. When I looked down, the officer was shocked I could do that before going out of his sight.

???: Having fun playing "hero"?

Feeling a cold sensation, I looked over my shoulder and was shocked. Who was talking to me, was one enemy I wasn't ready to meet. The person spoke to me with an old, gruff voice to show how old they were.

Soejammy: Kessler...

Kessler: So, someone DOES know of me.

Soejammy: Stay away from me.

Kessler: Now why should I listen to you?

Soejammy: Trust me. You don't want what I have. You only get one and only warning.

Kessler: Why? I've only come to ta-

Kessler began to approach me as I focused a condensed ball of Darkness at his feet to leave a small crater between us.

Soejammy: I'm NOT joking! Stay away from me, or else!!

Feeling my heart race faster, my Darkness fed on my fear as I saw and felt it destabilize a little.

Kessler: Guess your power is tied to your emotions. So is mine!

Lifting his arms, Kessler shot a stream of lightning towards me as my armor quickly generated a shield. The blast sent me sliding backwards and blocked my vision of Kessler. Before I knew it, Kessler was behind me as I tried to swing a fist at him. Kessler blocked my punch to the side and thrusted his fist forward to deliver an intense electrical current through me.

Soejammy: AuUuUuUuUgH!!!!

The shock caused my armor to disappear and leave me open with Kessler digging his fingers into my head. Kessler saw into my memories as my head was pounding hard from being prodded. Kessler did this to Cole, but gave him his memories. Feeling shocked about his discovery, Kessler growled and looked at me.

Kessler: WHO ARE YOU?! How do you know me?!

Soejammy: I told you to stay away... Guess you got more than what you wished, isn't that right? Cole?

As I said that, I then felt another narration come over me.

Soejammy (Narrator): For the first time in my life, I surprised Kessler at all. I know he isn't surprised due to being from the future, but I did the impossible. Kessler, who was actually Cole's future self, was shocked to discover I knew his dirty secrets. How he failed in his time, how Cole got his powers, everything. Even knowing that Trish and his children die because he did nothing. I got up slowly while Kessler was struggling to take this knowledge in, but didn't stay long as I looked to see a running train and decided to run to where the overtop railroads were at and had to move fast. Kessler saw my attempts as I dodged his electrical snares as I focused my power to my feet to jump. By some miracle or luck, I made it to the other side and had the train get between Kessler and I. With being on the train by the side, I disappeared from him once more.

Location: Bridge to Neon

After leaving the train, I hightailed my trek to the bridge to get away and hide for now. I breathed as my body trembled in pain as my Darkness was growling at losing.

Soejammy: Shut it. You have my memories. We weren't winning that fight. Damn... I'm talking to you again. I never wanted to even talk to this again!

The Darkness inside me rumbled and I felt a tightening feeling in my heart.

Soejammy: Shut it! I'm not listening to you again! This is my body! You listen to me instead! I had no control of sealing you away! But I didn't like a chance where you would try to control me! Either listen to me, or keep being suppressed! I don't care which! Damn it!!

I hit my fist against the wall to hit my frustrations against as my Darkness fueled my anger and rage.

Soejammy: Augh!! Stop making me angry!! I don't want to be angry!! SIT!!

Feeling my Darkness settle down fast when I said that, I felt my senses return to normal as I felt the sting on my hands as it hurt when I calmed down.

Soejammy: Damn. Look what you made me do. You made me hurt myself like this, you know that??? Augh... So damn tired of feeling exhausted trying to struggle for control. And NO you can't take my body for a spin while I rest. Knowing you, you'll hurt people. And I don't want that. Get that through your head. Or non-existent head? Ugh... This feels so strange...

I leaned against the wall as I decided to slide down it and sit.

Soejammy: Ugh... How did it get so bad...? I used to have control during my time with it... Now...? Ugh... And even Kessler knows about me now... Awesome...

As I sat there, I just thought what to do as my Darkness had a grudge with Kessler. I began wanting to close my eyes as I didn't want to think about anything right now as I tried to think on how to survive through this mess.

The Next day...

Time: Day

As I was sleeping, where I was as I was just trying to get through this mess. I would have been, if the sudden gunshots and vibration of an explosion didn't set me off. The sound ringed in my ears as I got up with a jolt and looked around.

Soejammy: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?

I began to look around as I looked to see it was a fight between the Reapers and Dust Men.

Soejammy: Oh, damn. No way this is happening now!!! WE'RE AT THIS MISSION!?

I knew where this mission was. It was the mission where Cole was having to help Trish and escort a bus to ensure the safety of those to the hospital over in the Warren District from the Neon. During that time, Cole would be having to not only fight the enemies, but make sure the bus makes it to the hospital.

Soejammy: How long was I out? How long did I sleep?? Ugh...! Doesn't matter! I need to focus! There was a reason the others brought me here... But what am I supposed to do? Make friends with Cole? Convince Kessler to stop all this nonsense??? Ugh!

I tried to think more on what to do, but looked on the bridge to see Cole struggling to keep the bus moving when the cars were blocking his path with Reapers and Dust Men blocking his path.

Cole: Damn scumbacks! Get away from this bus!!

I ducked back down as I saw Cole was struggling as I looked at my hands and took deep breaths.

Soejammy: I'm sorry. I know you're itching for Kessler to appear again and kick his butt. But there are people who NEED us. I know they're only games and data, but they're real to me. Cole is the reason I tried to save those officers last night. Cole defines who he is based on his powers... But I need YOUR help. I don't want to be controlled through anger, I don't want to be held back. I know you were sealed away by the high council of magic in Sora's Dimension and I'm SORRY for that. It meant too much to me to give lives back to people that Xehanort wronged and I couldn't stand it if I let it continue. As the Darkness, you're pissed with how much you've been waiting for the day to come back out and wreak havoc around everything. But you could be SO MUCH MORE! SO MUCH MORE than just a force of causing destruction. Darkness and Light. They are opposites, but they can't exist without the other. Darkness can't be made if there is no light, and light can't exist if there is no way to dampen the intensity of it. What I'm trying to get at is, I can't do this. And if I die, you die with me. You've been through my fights and what I fight for. But look at all the good that happened when protecting people! For once! Don't fight me on using it for good! Let me show you what can come from helping people and saving them!!

Feeling a pulse, I looked at my hands as they instantly turned to smoke, armor, shadow, and many other abilities I came up with back in my time when training with this power.

Soejammy: Finally ready for me to show you? Alright. Listen to my commands, don't act out unless you need to defend me. Watch my back, and we'll be okay.

Feeling a slight tug on my heart, I felt it was the Darkness' way of telling it understands. I don't know why it was on better terms now, but I rather wait to think about this AFTER getting Cole to the hospital. Taking deep breaths, I clenched my fists as I then used a Dark Whip to get up high and then use the power lines as grapple points to swing from. Using another whip, I launched it at a car to bring it with me and move it out of Cole's path.

Cole: The he- You!?

Soejammy: Get that bus to the hospital!! Those people need to get help!!!

Cole: First hands and now this??? What else can you-

I began to swing back as a rocket was fired at the bus as Cole was distracted by me. Using the car, I flung the car forward to block the explosion of the rocket while landing next to the bus.

Soejammy: MISSION FIRST! QUESTIONS LATER!!

Trish: Cole! He's right! Get us to the hospital!!

Hearing the voice, I knew it belonged to Trish Daily, Cole's girlfriend. Or at least they would be in a relationship, but if things go well, they will get back together during this mission.

Cole: Get the enemies I can't reach and keep them away.

Soejammy: Got it! If more rockets come at you, use your shockwave to send them back!

Cole: I know how to redirect rockets! Just focus!

Soejammy: Right!!

Generating a shield from the Darkness, I began to rush forward to block any bullets that came my way. I used the whip to bring an enemy to me and swing them into another. With little effort and cooperation, I focused on the enemies while Cole focused on keeping the bus on a move. It took some trial and error, some rockets got past us, but with the bus being modified to handle such attacks, it was able to make it to the Hospital okay.

Soejammy: Damn... That was intense...

Cole: You're telling me... Didn't think Reapers and Dust Men would attack on the day we did this.

Soejammy: Yeah... That is some stupid crap.

Cole: Let's get everyone off the bus and-

Getting a call from someone, Cole looked at me.

Cole: Give me a moment. Yeah Moya?

I frowned as during this time, Cole was still being used by Moya. But remembering this place, I looked up to see Alden and a Dust Man with a rocket launcher as I then quickly rushed with a car to throw it and stop the rocket.

Soejammy: COLE! EYES IN THE SKY!!!

Snapping Cole from his talk, he looked at Alden with me as our enemy stared us down back. I didn't even get a chance to do anything as Alden wasted no time and lifted the bus, knocking Cole off and sending it to the top of the Hospital!

Cole: Trish!!

Cole looked back to where Alden was as he was gone in an instant. In his place, Dust Men surrounded the area. With Trish in danger, Cole was not happy at this.

Cole: You really picked a bad day to make me mad.

Soejammy: We'll save the people on the bus! For now, let's split up and tackle each of these bozos. Whoever makes it up there first, we'll be lucky to save them. Keep yourself calm. We have time.

With our plan set in motion, we stared down the Dust Men in front of us.

Soejammy (Narrator): Nodding his head, Cole and I got to work as we split up to take different sides. The Dust Men were divided up as Cole took one side, while I took another. With the work being divided, it wasn't so bad facing an entire group by ourselves. One by one, we took down the Dust Men each one we came across. From punching them unconscious, to Cole Arc Restraining them. I was the first to reach the top as the bus was about to go over as I used my power to throw a whip each to go to the front and back while digging my feet into the concrete on the roof. My strength wasn't enough as I was losing ground, but Cole reached me in time to help pull on the whip with me to pull the bus back up.

Exiting the bus, a woman stepped out as I knew her all too well. It really was Trish. The doctor in the game that Cole loves the most. I know more about these two, but some lead to some heartbreak and pain of what happens.

Trish: Cole!

Cole: Trish! Are you okay!?

Trish: Y-Yeah... I'm... I'm fine...

Trish looked like she was contemplating something as she looked at Cole.

Trish: When that man threw the bus up here, the only thing going through my head was you, and how things stood between us.

Cole: I'd never let anything happen to you, Trish.

Trish began to cry as I figured being on the bus was going to be it for her. Knowing she was still here because of me and Cole, I witnessed Trish opening up more.

Trish: I know you didn't mean to kill Amy, Cole, that you've been trying to make things right. And I need to stop being angry at you, it's just been hard for me.

With Trish finally coming out and showing how she has been dealing with all of this, her heart finally begins to speak the truth.

Trish: I want us to be together again. Like how it used to be.

With the way this talk was going, I began deciding on wanting to slowly take my leave and give the two some space to themselves. I would have jumped off the roof, but a hand touched my shoulder. I looked back and saw Cole and Trish behind me.

Cole: Thank you, for helping us.

I felt tears come to my eyes as they noticed this.

Trish: Are you okay?

I quickly wiped the tears away as I focused towards the city.

Soejammy: Yeah. Just remembering how it feels to be thanked for doing something to help someone and save a life. See you two around. I'm going to look for Alden and put him behind bars. Got nothing better to do anyway.

Tearing myself away, I jumped off as my Darkness created a makeshift glider to soar across the area smoothly and just reminisce on this feeling. I then landed on a roof as I began to run across it and jump. Jumping further than I ever could before as I looked to see the Darkness was doing more to help me. Not to win in terms of controlling me, but to support me. With having a way to fight here now, I smirked as I stretched out my arm with the whip and pulled myself to get to a higher place. Reaching the roof in a different area, I looked around to see what the Warren District looked like from above.

Soejammy: Now that is a view. Damn. I miss being here. See all the good we did today? It felt nice being thanked. We may have gone a little crazy as we punched some guys too hard. But they'll be fine. As long as they were incapacitated, I'm fine with that.

Feeling a rumble, I felt my stomach feel empty as I sighed.

Soejammy: Damn... I'm hungry... But I can't get anything to eat here...

Hearing a sound landing behind me, I looked to see a box was dropped as I looked around to see a note. It read "You're doing great Dad! Here is something for you, Nintega said you liked this. From your daughter." I looked at the note and smelled an aroma that was catching in my nose as I looked into the box to see a secured ramen cup that was carefully protected and prepared in advance to skip the preparations. A pair of chopsticks were inside it as I smiled.

Soejammy: Those dummies. But they're really thoughtful.

I looked at the cup as it did have a flavor of chicken on it, as I was hesitant on wanting to eat, but with needing to survive, I had to. Smacking my lips, I got the ramen cup and chopsticks and began to eat the contents of the meal I was given. A drink was inside the box as I opened it up and began to wash out the contents to help go down smoother when swallowing. By the time I was done eating, the ramen, drink and water used for the meal was filling enough that with the tense feeling in my muscles, I couldn't even focus on what to do next as I just let slumber take me again to fall asleep.

Twilight's point of view

Location: Real world, Nintega's place.

Watching the monitor on the screen, we see my dad being lifted by his abilities and taken to a couch nearby to rest somewhat comfortably.

Nintega: Freaky. It can even do that while Jammy is asleep...

Rainbow Dash: You're calling that freaky? What about the contents of that bowl he ate from. It was "chicken flavored." Pretty sure that chicken is a type of animal. And what does that make him???

I looked to see Fluttershy shivering from being scared as she went to hide under a table.

Fluttershy: A-A-A m-meat eater...?

Rainbow Dash: A MEAT EATER! We've been helping a MEAT EATER!!

Twilight: And what are you IMPLYING there, Rainbow Dash???

Rainbow Dash: What am I imply- You know what I'm implying! He could eat us next!!

Rarity: Here we go again...

Applejack: Rainbow, has the thought EVER occurred to you he could have done all that BEFORE we got here? If he really wanted to, he could have eaten Twilight. No offense.

Twilight (Soe's and Nintega's): None taken.

Rainbow Dash: But you saw how he hesitated!

Twilight: That's because it was a matter of what we thought since he knows the meal is from us so he can survive!!

Pinkie Pie: I don't complain. We eat rock soup at home. It's REALLY good~

Everyone just looked at Pinkie as she looked around at everyone.

Pinkie Pie: What? WHAT??

Rainbow Dash: Moving on... How can you stay calm about this Twilight???

Twilight: I... I might've known that already... That's why I sent it...

Twilight's friends were surprised that she knew about it more before they did.

Rainbow Dash: And you're telling us this now!?

Twilight: It wasn't even worth mentioning! My Dad had a reason for not wanting to tell me and tried to eat anything, BUT meat! There is a reason, but it was probably to make us comfortable and-

Pinkie Pie: AND EAT US!?

Twilight: Pinkie! No! Because he didn't want to be looked at differently... I noticed that when I first arrived in his world, Dad always tried to buy food that would be more towards my liking... I tried to look in the fridge, but Dad stopped me before I could... It wasn't long until I was able to regain my memories, but I decided to look to see that some of the stuff in the fridge he packed with his lunches to work was with meat...

Rainbow Dash had a smug look on her face as if finally catching something my Dad did was wrong. But I didn't stop there.

Twilight: But whenever he was at home, he always tried to stay away from it as to respect me from having to see him eating it. I do find it weird and a little unnerving... But he's starving and needs to eat something to keep his strength up. I recommended the bowl of noodles because it was a substitute to keep his strength up. I rather help my Dad to keep him going rather see him suffer and make mistakes in his battles there...

I looked around as some gave some smiles in understanding where I was coming from, Rainbow Dash wasn't one of them.

Rainbow Dash: Ugh... It's still disgusting thinking about it at all...

Twilight (Nintega's): Try living with mostly human's who ACTUALLY do. I've gotten used to it, but I still prefer the food from my world really.

Nintega: I can't say I blame you there.

Twilight (Nintega's): Nor should you.

I sighed as I looked at the screen to see that stuff had happened since we were talking.

Soejammy's point of view

Game: inFAMOUS

Location: Empire City, Warren District, Prison.

Time: Night

It had been a few hours later as I had woken up, did some good stuff to help people and now I learn that Alden is captured and is held up in the prison. That means the Dust Men will be after him. I arrived at the prison to see I was late to the party. By party, I mean that a fight between Dust Men and Police Officers.

Soejammy: Jeez... Talk about a riot. And people say I cause riots with my jokes. Glad it doesn't happen literally.

I was looking around from my vantage point as I looked to see Cole shooting his electricity around him. He was keeping the Dust Men conglomerate that were attacking at bay or knocking some of them out. I was about to join, when another explosion happened at another gate during this attack.

Soejammy: That's not good. I better help out.

Jumping from my vantage point, I began to glide until I was over near where Cole was and looked at him.

Soejammy: Cole, I'm here to help.

Cole: Look who showed up to the party.

Soejammy: I'm the guy who likes to show up late. Can you blame me?

As we talked, a rocket flew by us to hit a wall before I instructed Cole.

Soejammy: I'll handle this area. You head over to the other side of this wall. More Dust Men are attacking!

Cole: Gotcha. Just be careful here.

As Cole was about to go, I stopped him.

Soejammy: One more thing!

Cole stopped to hear what I had to say as I quickly instructed him.

Soejammy: Dust Men will be up all the way up there, when the power goes out, you have to get up there. Your friend, Zeke, will at one moment come out and ruin this whole plan. Once the power comes back on, I'm heading in to make sure Alden won't escape.

Cole looked at me weirdly as he wanted to ask, but an explosion distracted him while I went to work myself to keep the Dust Men at bay. I quickly ducked behind a barricade as I shot a ball of Darkness and hit an enemy in the head. Seeing a conglomerate of enemies, I focused my power into my hands as I jumped up to fire a stream of Darkness to push my enemies back. After landing, create a Shroud of Darkness to blind them as to slow their advance.

Soejammy: Keep firing!! I'll keep them blinded!!

As the battle to keep Alden imprisoned kept going on, the power soon cut out. Looking up, I saw Cole take my advice to begin climbing the building.

Soejammy: Keep up the good work!! Cole is trying to get the power back on soon!!

After announcing that, I then jumped into the smoke as I then began to attack the Dust Men inside it. Each one I rushed up to, I gave either a haymaker punch or blast one with Darkness. I would then use the smoke to hide in it as they charged into an object I hid behind and deal a blow to their heads. During the fight, I then noticed the fog I made got lighter as I realized the lights were on. Quickly exiting the smoke, I looked for Cole as he landed on the ground behind me while taking care some of the Dust Men.

Cole: Okay, mind telling me what-

Cole got interrupted as I saw a rock hit Cole hard as I looked to see it was one of the big bruisers of the Dust Men, Golems.

Soejammy: Being honest, they are a lot bigger than what I thought.

Getting back up, Cole answered to my amusement.

Cole: Not to mention they hit just as hard.

Soejammy: That sounds like a problem for someone with more experience on these things. If you excuse me, I have an idiot to keep with Alden.

I began to leave Cole's side as I opened the door to head into the prison to locate Zeke and Alden.

Location: Inside prison

Once inside, I began to navigate the place as I looked for the room with Alden. When I came across the room, I entered to help watch Alden behind bars as he tried using his power. The cell was keeping his powers hindered due to an effect of the cage. A cage with electricity going around the cell.

Alden: Release me! I do not belong here!!

???: Yeah, yeah. Keep saying that. Not going to change our minds really. Should have thought of that when YOU kidnapped me!

Now there was a voice I remembered all too well. When I entered the room, I heard Alden yelling and another person talking to him. That person was Zeke Dunbar. Boy would it be nice to meet on better terms, but right now, wasn't one of them. In a better sense, this entire first game is not my favorite version of him. And boy was I going to change that if I can.

Soejammy: Is Alden still locked up??

Zeke: Yeah, he is. Old sucker thought he could escape. Thanks to Cole, he might still stay there. And who are you?

Soejammy: I just arrived earlier, I was helping Cole outside and thought I come in to check out what was going on.

Zeke: Yeah? Well, nothing too much. Wish I was out there.

Soejammy: You're more needed here. I'm just extra insurance to make sure this psycho doesn't get out.

Zeke groaned as the prison shook with all the chaos happening outside.

Soejammy: If we can keep Alden's men held back, the Dust Men will eventually give up with the lack in numbers they have.

Zeke: And what about Cole??? He's my brother from another mother!

Soejammy: Cole knows the stakes as well! He would rather-

Zeke: Screw this! I'm heading out there!

I saw Zeke rush out as I tried to stop him, but he kept running.

Soejammy: Zeke! ZEKE!!!

I looked back at Alden as he was trying to gather his energy for a blast to try and end everyone in this room!

Soejammy: CRAP!!!

I rushed to Alden's cell as I began to use my Darkness to encase Alden in a barrier and block his vision to the area around him. When using his powers, my barrier I placed on him was almost cracking instantly.

Soejammy: NGH!! Damn it Zeke!!

I looked at the guards in the room as I yelled to them.

Soejammy: GET OUT OF HERE!! ALDEN'S BLAST IS GOING TO HURT EVERYONE HERE!!!

Officer: And leave you!?

Soejammy: Think about your family first!! I would rather keep you all safe and let you see your family again!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!

My barrier was cracking more and more as I was doing everything I could to keep Alden imprisoned.

Soejammy: ALDEN!!! STOP THIS NOW!!!

As I kept focusing on the barrier, I could feel my power weakening.

Soejammy (Narrator): Alden wasn't even listening to me as he wanted out and wanted out badly. My powers were weakening as I was running out of steam to use my power as my barrier was about to be destroyed. I quickly looked back as I saw the officers were still in the room, ready to risk their lives to stop Alden. Focusing the last of my strength, I shifted my power to push the officers out of the room as Alden created a huge blast that sent me through the wall where the officers were. As I watched Alden escape, my consciousness began to fade out until nothing, but Darkness could be seen for me...

Location: Medical Hospital

Time: Dusk, the Next Day

As I lied in bed, I then woke up as I groaned painfully and looked around. I saw I was in the hospital as I held my rib cage.

Soejammy: Damn it Alden... Ugh...

I began trying to get up, but felt a needle prodding into my arm.

Soejammy: I don't have time to rest.

Pulling the needle out, the heart monitor was even taken off my finger as a soft alarm was going off.

Soejammy: So damn loud... Ugh...

I felt my head spin softly as the hit I had taken was still there. I leaned against the wall as I exited out of my room. I wanted to get out, try and see what was going on. When I tried walking down the hall, a nurse walked up to me.

Nurse: Sir, please return to your room.

Soejammy: I'm fine... I heal fast...

Nurse: You were caught in an explosion. You're lucky to even be breathing right now.

Soejammy: And the cops? Are they hurt or are they here?

Nurse: Fortunately, the officers that were there with you helped you to the hospital. You saved their lives.

Soejammy: Is that so? Well, I have more people to save then...

Nurse: Sir, please!

As I was about to try and push through, a hand was placed on my shoulder. I looked to see it was Trish.

Trish: What are you doing???

Soejammy: Need to find Cole. Help him with Alden.

Trish: After what just happened in the prison??? You're lucky to even be alive!!

Soejammy: I'll be more alive once Alden has a foot shoved where the sun doesn't shine.

Trish: Can you at LEAST consider resting first??? You look like you're exhausted.

Soejammy: That's what happens when one pushes themselves. I call it on the job training and experience.

Trish sighed as she crossed her arms while looking at me.

Trish: Can you then see your daughter? She's been worried about you when notified you were hospitalized.

Soejammy: Yeah, yeah. I can do- Wait, WHAT!?

I began to look around as I was trying to figure out what was going on.

Trish: That seems to have gotten your attention.

Soejammy: If there's one thing, my daughter shouldn't have left the house!

Trish: Yet, she was worried about her father. Please follow me.

I began to wonder what the hell was going on. Why was Twilight here? Why aren't people weirded out by her being here?? Those two questions rang in my head for a while until Trish led me to an area that was a garden. It was still light out, as the sun was sinking over the horizon.

Trish: There's your daughter, over there.

When pointing to my daughter, I looked to see if it was my daughter. Though, she looked different. When I saw her, she saw me back. Twilight looked up from her book, but the difference was, she had hands, and an actual human body. Getting up from her chair, Twilight ran over to me and hugged me tight.

Twilight (Human form): Dad! Oh, I was so worried about you!

I blinked in confusion as I decided to hug Twilight back as she looked at Trish.

Twilight: I'm just going to have a walk with my Dad, is that okay?

Trish: Of course. Just don't go too far from the hospital.

Twilight (Human form): Of course.

Smiling at me, Twilight held out a hand as she offered to go on a walk.

Twilight (Human form): Shall we go for a walk?

I blinked as I just began to walk as Twilight joined up right next to me.

Location: City Streets

As we walked down the road, Twilight was taking her new form a look. Twilight almost stumbled a few times, but quickly recovered to stay on her two feet.

Soejammy: Not so easy walking on two legs, isn't it?

Twilight (Human form): I mean, it's difficult, but not that hard to learn. I watched you and the CPUs do it for 6 months, thinking it would be hard to do.

Soejammy: Yeah, just try it when you don't have an example from when going through a mirror.

Twilight (Human form): What's that supposed to mean!?

Soejammy: Nothing. Just forget about it.

Twilight (Human form): Ugh... Fine.

We kept walking until we decided to stop by a bench to sit down.

Soejammy: Okay, what the hell are you doing here? If you haven't been watching, this place-

Twilight closed her eyes and had her own angry face to make.

Twilight (Human form): I know it's dangerous here! That's why I had my other self change me into this form! It was the only way to come here while keeping a secretive cover!

I looked at Twilight as I held a hand to my head.

Soejammy: Good grief... What are they thinking of sending you here???

Twilight (Human form): Because I was worried about you, Dad!! You almost...!

Twilight didn't want to say what I knew she was thinking. Having me risk my life twice as I was in critical condition twice. I sighed as I looked to the sky.

Soejammy: Just don't do anything that I would do. Don't be a hero. You have no idea what dangers are here.

Twilight (Human form): Then don't risk your life! This place is only in a game! The people here-

Soejammy: Do not say that! Do you hear me!?

Twilight looked shocked when I raised my voice at her when she was thinking that.

Soejammy: Just because the people here are made of code, doesn't mean you should take their data lives less seriously! Because I risked my life for the guards, Trish told me that they saved my life by bringing me here! Have you heard of that!? Before, they would have died in a cutscene! Risking my life to save them, also saved me! Because of me, I changed the history of this game even slightly!

I looked away from Twilight as I looked at my hands and clenched them.

Soejammy: If I can do that... Trish might even...

Hearing an explosion coming from the tower Alden was building, I saw a blue field of energy expanding from it before it retracts fast.

Soejammy: NO! What time is it!?

I saw a helicopter flying away as the structure at the very top was crumbling down as a debris field was coming from the top.

Soejammy: Nonononono! Cole!

Twilight (Human form): What happened!?

Soejammy: Cole and Zeke! Zeke! That son of a-!! First he leaves us for dead, then he decides to do this!? That- UGH!!!

I was getting angry that some of my Darkness tried to show itself. Twilight looked worried as she held my hand.

Twilight (Human form): Dad! Calm down! Your anger on the Darkness!!

I growled as I began focusing on calming down.

Soejammy: Can't believe Zeke! He betrayed Cole, again!

Twilight (Human form): Okay, what happened in the original story of this game?

Soejammy: Remember the prison fight where the Dust Men were attacking? Zeke was meant to stay inside, twice he has gone against his role in the mission and did more harm than good. First abandoning his post, and now siding with Kessler! That was Kessler's helicopter that flew away!

Twilight (Human form): It can't be that bad, at least they're-

Soejammy: That field of energy you saw, that was the Ray Sphere activating! An artifact that GAVE Cole his powers! It takes the energy of many people around it and not only gives the person in the middle of the blast powers, but kills everyone else in the vicinity!!

Twilight (Human form): Excuse me... Let me process that with a... WHAT!?

Soejammy: Yeah. Knowing how the story goes, Kessler then tricks Zeke to follow him and "pretend" to fix it. The blasted thing was never broken! Because Zeke isn't a Conduit! Only Conduits can activate it to unlock their hidden potentials!! That idiot son of a-!!

Thinking what has happened, Cole will be fine up there, my real focus shifted to here.

Soejammy: Trish...

Twilight (Human form): What?

Soejammy: Trish!! Nononono! We have to go back to the hospital!

Twilight (Human form): Why!?

Soejammy: I'll explain! We can't head over to the Historical District yet! Until Alden gets to the bridge, we need to see if Trish is safe!!

I then began to jog at my own pace as I was still hurt from the battle at the prison. I felt my ribs cave in as I held my chest to go down on one knee while Twilight placed her hand on my back to heal any internal wounds with her magic.

Twilight (Human form): Explain now!

Soejammy: Trish is in danger! The First Sons are going to kidnap her!

Twilight (Human form): Why do they have any reason to kidnap her!?

Soejammy: If you haven't been paying attention, Kessler is from the future! I talked to him myself! He's actually Cole, and he is trying to play a role of giving Cole a reason to abandon his old ways to become this being that can make any decision, even abandoning his emotions to stop a being called "The Beast"! Trish, in his timeline, died along with his two daughters! Now he came back in time as a last ditch effort to shape his past self, and one of those ways is killing Trish!! I can't have that happen!!

Getting up, I began to rush back to the hospital, the glass doors have already been broken in as some people lie on the ground. Not even moving one bit. Twilight was about to come around the corner as I looked at her fast and held out a hand.

Soejammy: TWILIGHT! STAY OUT THERE! KEEP A FIELD AROUND YOU AND DON'T COME IN HERE!!

Twilight stopped when I said that, but she couldn't see the carnage that I saw in the room. With there being so many like this on the floor right now, I knew who was here.

Soejammy: The First Sons. They're already here.

Looking around in the room, I saw movement as my guess was correct as I saw a group of people with gas masks and heavy gear to go with it.

Soejammy (Narrator): Call me a psychic all you want, but do not mess with me when I'm on a mission. Even that includes wanting to destroy the First Sons. These airheads are so obsessed with their own group, they're the reason the Ray Sphere was created. With Kessler's help, it was engineered in advance due to Kessler's knowledge of it. Speeding up the process of it, the reason why Cole had it now and gotten his powers. These SOBs are the reason many people are gone. The reason why the city is in chaos as of right now. Because their Ray Sphere was their toy, and the people are their test subjects. If there is one thing I wasn't going to let them have... It was going to let them have their way by terrorizing this city any further. And I'll be the one that makes them pay with their lives.

Upon catching sight of them, I saw Trish was being held captive as I glared at the group trying to exit out the front entrance with my arms crossed.

Soejammy: Okay. One and only chance. You set your guns down, and surrender. Fail to do so...

I then glared at the group as I began to walk closer. Lowering my arms with hands tightened into fists full of fury.

Soejammy: You'll see why I'm warning you right now...

Not taking my advice, the one leading the path out of the hospital aimed his weapon at me and began to fire. Upon reaching me, my Darkness reacted in becoming my shield right away and protected me from the damage. The attacker and his men were shocked at what I was capable of as my Darkness lowered itself to show my glaring eyes.

Soejammy: Now you've made us mad.

Reaching out with a Dark Hand, I grabbed what looked to be their commander that attacked me and slammed him against the wall. The others that were with him raised their weapons up as well to begin defending against me.

Soejammy: You think your little guns can protect you? How cute.

Letting their commander go, I then began to focus my attacks on the others about to attack me while I made sure to surround my power on Trish to protect her.

Soejammy: You're going to pay for attacking while I'm here... I won't let you get Trish. And I will avenge those you have hurt...

As soon as I was able to shield Trish from any harm that would come to her, I then began to rush towards my enemies while generating a shield. The bullets bounced off my shield while making my approach to the closest target. When the reload of their weapons were beginning, I moved my shield to grab the man by his throat and slam him into the wall and then jumped off it to kick another in the head. When one of them was ready to fire again, I landed down and dive rolled into the nearest room that was open before the guy opened fire on me.

First Son grunt: He's in there! Don't let him out! Get the girl and get to the Historical District!

Growling in anger, I stood up fast and encased my hand in Darkness and punched through the wall to grab at my enemy's head. I could just feel they were on that side of the wall as I pulled my hand back to make one of them hit their head against the wall. I heard a gun cocking back as I quickly got behind cover fast before the weapon began firing. When the bullets stopped, I then jumped over my cover and began to run straight towards my enemy and grab them to slam them against the wall before kicking them to fly out of a window. I breathed hard as I felt the adrenaline pumping through me. Feeling a hand on my shoulder, I turned around and had a fist prepared with eyes full of anger ready to hit my next target, but saw it was Twilight who looked scared when I was about to attack.

Twilight (Human form): D-Dad...?

Looking at Twilight, I felt my senses whiplash me back to my surroundings as I looked at the damage that was there.

Soejammy: No... No I didn't... I wasn't trying...

Falling to my knees, I took deep breaths as I focused to keep the darkness controlled.

Twilight (Human form): It's not your fault! You were angry! You were upset that these... p-people got hurt...

I looked down the hall that used to be intact, but now, was riddled with holes, collapsed walls and debris. Trish was looking around once the barrier I placed went away to see the damage done here.

Trish: Y-You did all of this...?

Soejammy: It... It was an accident... I-I didn't mean...

As I was trying to explain myself, I began to hear the sound of footsteps and a familiar voice.

Kessler: Poor little fool. Had to let himself go just to do a simple job that could have been done by Cole. You really have no control when you're angry, you know that?

I hitched my breath as I saw Kessler enter from the front doors. I got up quickly and went to get in front of Trish and Twilight while blocking Kessler's path.

Soejammy: Stay away from Trish!

Kessler stopped as he looked at me, but then started to chuckle.

Kessler: You must really have a death wish if you really think you have what it takes to defeat me.

Soejammy: At least I didn't let innocents die to their fates like you did!! You want your secrets spilled out right here!? I'm ready to fight you, Kessler!

Kessler looked at me as I held my ground and looked at him. Kessler moved faster than I remembered as he rushed to grab me by the throat and slammed me to the wall.

Kessler: You may know my secret, but I know about yours. Tell me, does your "Daughter" there know what you've done?

I widened my eyes as I felt my anger spike up from him talking about Twilight.

Soejammy: You keep her out of this!

When trying to move, Kessler began to send an electrical current through my body as I began to scream in pain. I could hear the Darkness' rage roaring out as well as it began to try and take control in wanting to destroy Kessler.

Twilight (Human form): Let him go!!!

Kessler looked at Twilight as a blast of magic sent him down the hall being caught off-guard. I fell to my knees as I was dizzy in my head. Trish and Twilight got on each side of me as they began to hurry and carry me out of the hospital.

Trish: Who is that guy!?

Twilight (Human form): His name is Kessler! His real name is-!

Soejammy: Twilight... Don't...

My daughter looked at me as she was surprised at me wanting to stop her.

Twilight (Human form): But-!

Soejammy: Don't...

Trish: What are you two talking about???

Twilight was about to try and explain, but we all felt a blast of electricity course through us and fell to the ground. I struggled to get up as another blast of Kessler's electricity shot through my body.

Kessler: You are very quite annoying me now!

Soejammy: Says the guy who's from the future... You're giving us all a headache...

I tried to chuckle, but Kessler began to shoot a stream of electricity at me as I was writhing on the ground.

Kessler: You WILL shut up!!

Soejammy: You've failed in your time!! And now you want to ruin a man's life? Getting Trish's sister killed!? You're the whole REASON this city is quarantined!!! The Ray Sphere, the plague, everything!!! Stop this now! We can he-

As if thunder was roaring, Kessler increased the intensity of his power as I was yelling out in constant pain.

Kessler: You want to help me!?!?! YOU CAN PERISH HERE ON THE GROUND!!! YOU ARE A MERE BLIP OF SOMETHING MUCH BIGGER THAN THIS!!!

As I writhed on the ground, I felt myself snap as I began to move, even while being shocked.

Soejammy: You want to end "us"?

Kessler looked at me strangely as I gave a look back with pure hatred and rage.

Soejammy?: You want to end "us"???

I began to growl before I began to run towards Kessler as he tried to push me away, but I suddenly stretched out an arm to grab his arm to pull him in closer.

Soejammy (Darkness rage): You want to finish this fight? We will finish this.

Kessler: What are you???

I looked at Kessler as my voice got deeper and more filled with rage.

Soejammy (Darkness form): We are The Darkness.

Roaring in Kessler's face, we were about to send Kessler flying, but then some rockets hit us on contact. We growled and began to move fast to catch the other rockets and throw them back. The rockets hit the ones that fired them as we looked at Kessler.

Soejammy (Darkness form): We will consume you. Take your heart, and make your power our own. Call it a bit of compensation for the damages.

We growled as we slammed Kessler to the ground and then proceeded to throw him to a wall of the building that sent him outside. We gave chase upon reaching outside, when a force field bubble was put around us. Looking behind, we could see our daughter.

Twilight (Human form): DAD!!! STOP!!!

Soejammy (Darkness form): Leave us alone girl!

Twilight (Human form): Is that what you want!? To turn into a monster!? Think about what you're doing!! Look at yourself!!

Generating a mirror, we could see what we had become in our rage as we looked like a monster. A monster that had no remorse or kindness in its eyes. The more I kept seeing it, the more I began trying to wrestle my control back by force. It was really hard to focus. I watched as Kessler's men got Trish and took her away. Kessler got up and teleported away using his powers as I wanted to be angry, but couldn't as it would only lead me back down a path I didn't want. As I yelled out a monstrous roar, I was tearing away the Darkness that was surrounding me until I slammed my head against the concrete. The pain I felt in my head gave me the strength to push through my own pain and regain control of my darkness as I breathed hard and collapsed to the ground.

Twilight (Human form): Dad!!

Twilight rushed up to me as she turned me over and lifted my head up so that I wasn't just lying on the ground.

Twilight (Human form): Dad!! Are you okay!? Answer me!!

Soejammy: I'm fine... I'm fine... I have a massive headache though...

Using her magic, I could see Twilight hover a hand over my head as I could feel the headache was being dulled out to allow myself to think a little easier.

Twilight (Human form): That form... That wasn't something I saw before... Not even against my friends...

I stayed silent as I was ashamed of myself to even let that happen.

Soejammy: It... It was my Darkness and myself going into an enraged state... A state that is agreed upon by the two of us...

Twilight (Human form): "Us"??? You say it like it's alive...

Soejammy: It is... Think of it like a Symbiote... A being that hooks itself to your body and gives you unlimited power and creativity of what you do with it... Though... There is a serious downside...

Twilight (Human form): The form I saw...?

Soejammy: In a way... Yes... You see, emotion is shared between two... And my Darkness... It basically can drive me down a path I don't even want... My Darkness was sealed away for a reason... Because it kept getting stronger... And with me as a source of power... It gained sentience during my adventure...

Twilight (Human form): When you, Kitty and Nintega went to that other world...?

I nodded my head to show she was correct.

Soejammy: My Darkness... It was never to see the day of light... That incident with the Timberwolves brought it back out... And it was ANGRY... Angry that it was sealed, sealed away and left to watch the world go on while it was trapped... Now that it's free... I can FEEL it trying to regain its strength... The more I get angry, the stronger it gets... Stronger to the point you saw me become that THING...

I soon felt drops of water hit my cheeks, but looked closer to see it was Twilight crying.

Twilight (Human form): It's all my fault... If Mini-Nep and I didn't go out that day when you were sick...

Soejammy: Do not even say that... You two were helping out of the kindness of your hearts. You were just children... And I am proud of you two for being so kind...

Twilight smiled as I felt my headache was gone at this point. Getting up slightly, I took some breaths as I clenched my hands to see some Darkness was still there.

Soejammy: It's knocked out for now... I can only do so much with my power right now... But once it wakes up... The headache will be back...

Twilight (Human form): "Knocked out"??? You mean it can sleep???

Soejammy: It's weird, I know... But we have to get to the Historical District, now.

Twilight (Human form): Why do we need to rush over there?

Soejammy: That's where Trish is going to be... And that's where she's going to die...

We got up as we began heading to the nearest area that led to the Historical District.

Location: Historical District

Time: Night

As Twilight used her teleport power once seeing the other side of the island, we were able to get safely across and heard some explosions coming from the bridge.

Soejammy: Damn. Cole must be going nuts against Alden. Look at all those missile strikes from his electricity.

Twilight (Human form): Cole can shoot missiles out of electricity???

Twilight stared at me in being questionable about my assumption.

Soejammy: He has Electrokinesis. He can use his electricity as an extension of himself. Grenades, bolts of lightning, hovering, and yes, even missiles. It has always gotten him through everything, but his powers failed him this night in saving Trish. I'm not letting that happen.

Twilight looked at me and smiled.

Twilight (Human form): How can I help?

I wanted to say to Twilight that she needed to go back to the real world and stay there to be safe, but knowing what I would say, Twilight spoke first and crossed her arms.

Twilight (Human form): Don't even make an attempt to tell me to exit from this game. I'm here to help you through the end.

Soejammy: I-I wasn't going to say that.

Twilight (Human form): Then what?

Soejammy: I was going...to say...

I groaned as Twilight had caught me in what I wanted to say.

Soejammy: You can cover me and watch my back. Stick close to me and do not go off on your own. Kessler could appear at any moment to attack us or his soldiers to stop us from saving Trish.

Twilight (Human form): Then why ARE we? She's just made of code!

Soejammy: You don't understand!!

Twilight looked at me as if shocked from me raising my voice.

Soejammy: Characters have a way to connect to you. Making you feel emotions. If you don't understand the first meaning that all life is precious, then you'll fail to save anyone. ICEY is the same way.

Twilight looked at me and remembered ICEY.

Twilight (Human form): ICEY... Was from a game, wasn't she?

Soejammy: Yes. She was. But now she is a protector and a damn good friend. ICEY was aware of her sentience, but never had the strength to fight against her programming, not until the moment she was truly defenseless when player controls were stripped from her. But once she broke her coding, her power reached newer heights because she wasn't restrained by human instincts.

Twilight (Human form): And that's why you want to help Trish... Because you value every life... Because ICEY showed she can change.

Not answering that, I climbed the building to look for Cole as Twilight met me on top of the roof before I reached it.

Soejammy: Come on Cole... Where are you...?

Looking around, I noticed a few people were being hauled over to a TV and electrical fence before it sparked to life by the First Sons. The field of electricity was keeping them there.

Twilight (Human form): What are they doing to those people!?

Soejammy: Making Cole have to go around saving people... Or else Trish dies...

Twilight (Human form): What!? Why!?

Soejammy: Kessler is teaching Cole a lesson, at least, when he gets here after fighting Alden... Remember... Kessler comes from a future where he didn't value people's lives and just Trish and his daughters... No matter what he did, he couldn't keep them safe in the end and travels back in time to make a new history for his past self.

Twilight (Human form): And one of those is ending Trish?!

Soejammy: Someone give her a prize, she guessed it right.

Twilight (Human form): Can you get serious??? You're the one who wanted to save her!

Soejammy: And if you know anything, I joke around when I'm nervous as hell.

Twilight looked at me as I really was nervous. If I messed up, Trish would die all-over again, making this locked for the route.

Soejammy: We have to save Trish. Please, Twilight.

Twilight looked at me and sighed knowing I would want to do this so badly.

Twilight (Human form): You really have a big heart to help anyone... But that's what makes you my Dad.

Twilight smiled softly as I smiled back at her.

Soejammy: Come on. We don't have time to waste when-

Hearing an explosion, I saw bolts of lightning shooting into the air and seeing a man running down the streets.

Soejammy: It's showtime kid. Let's go kick some butts!

Twilight (Human form): Just don't go crazy again. Not sure if I'll bring you back out again if that happens...

Soejammy: I won't. Now, come on.

Beginning to jump from rooftop to rooftop, I was staying on the high ground to follow Cole and keep watch of everything going on. Cole got his call from Kessler as he was beginning to fight the First Sons and save people from dying to explosives. It was all to keep Trish safe, but the next choice he had to make, either saved more lives, or killed more. Twilight could see this as she looked to see there were 5 people wearing doctor uniforms hanging from a high building. The other was Trish as she was by herself to hang from a water tower on a building.

Twilight (Human form): What!? How is this fair!? Cole has been working hard to keep people safe!

Soejammy: Because Kessler wants Cole to experience the same pain of losing the one person he loves most... Hoping it will cause Cole to seek vengeance against him...

Twilight (Human form): Who do you think Cole will choose...?

Soejammy: We'll save whoever he doesn't go for.

Watching Cole, we saw him go left to go save the doctors. I nod my head to Twilight that when he begins climbing that building, I want her to teleport us to Trish. Twilight nodded her head and we both saw Cole begin his climb.

Soejammy: Cole's going after the doctors! We need to get to Trish before he finishes climbing!!

Twilight (Human form): Right!

Before we could move, an explosion cuts us off as we see a group of First Sons on us and ready to strike.

Soejammy: Twilight! Save Trish! These guys are mine!

Understanding why I gave the order, Twilight began to head towards where Trish was while I handled the First Sons. I blocked one stream of bullets and blocked another rocket aimed at me. I would have reached the first enemy I was going to attack, but then an energy construct of a hand cut me off as I looked to see a First Son: Aura Conduit blocking my path.

Soejammy: Hello beastie! Been wanting to fight you!!

The construct tried to grab me, but I jumped over it and took a rocket in mid-flight to redirect it at the construct. Landing on the ground, I then sent a wave of my power to push the enemies off the building. The fall wouldn't end them, okay, maybe a little, but at least they can't fight. The construct tried to punch me, but I focused my Darkness to my feet to gain traction to fight against the size of the fist. Once the punch failed, I flipped onto the arm of the Conduit and began to run up the arm and jump towards my enemy in the construct and launch a blast at him. The attack caused the controller to be sent flying and crash through a window. My thoughts then were distracted when I heard a yell come from nearby with some explosions.

Trish: COOOOOOLE!!!

Cole: TRIIIIISH!!!

With worry filling my heart and head about Trish, I began to run towards where Trish would have fallen at as Twilight was there with Trish and helping her up.

Twilight (Human form): It's okay! You're alright! Nothing is going to happen to you!

Trish was looking around as she did recognize Twilight and I as she was with us before being taken. I was about to approach Trish as I was happy to see her alive and well, but Cole pushed past me as soon as he arrived.

Cole: Trish!!

Rushing up to Trish, Cole held her tightly in his arms as he cried thinking about how Trish could have died.

Cole: Trish! I'm so glad you're okay!

Trish: I thought I was-!

Cole kissed Trish to stop her from saying that as the two just held each other tightly. Twilight and I saw this as I looked at her.

Soejammy: You see that? That's what is worth fighting for. You can feel that too, right?

Twilight looked at Cole and Trish and smiled at what she was able to do.

Twilight (Human form): I don't want to answer because I don't know how it feels, but they're happy in being able to hold each other still.

We both turned away as we wanted to give Cole and Trish some alone time, but Cole reached out fast for both Twilight and I and hugged us.

Cole: You two... Thank you... Ever since I got my powers... Nothing has ever been the same... Being called a terrorist, having to fight everyday to help people, Zeke abandoning me for Kessler, and almost losing Trish... If you two weren't there to help...

I placed a hand on Cole's shoulder and looked at him in the eyes.

Soejammy: We're going to stop Kessler. I promise. I want in.

Cole looked at me and nodded his head.

Twilight (Human form): If my Dad is taking part in this crazy endeavor, then I have no choice, but to support this. Oh well, this gives me a chance to explore this place.

The four of us decided to stay together to determine how to handle the upcoming struggle to fight Kessler.

Location: Substations, Historical District

Time: Day

It was a little bit after helping Cole save Trish as for now, Twilight was keeping Trish safe by being with her to make sure to get away fast if the First Sons go after Trish. I was with Cole as he got a call from John White, an undercover agent sent to spy on the First Sons and give him orders to go power up not just 1, but 3 substations all at once. We were at the second substation in the district as a massive lightning strike came down and fried any First Sons that tried to get close to us.

Cole: Yeah! That's right! Fry!!

Soejammy: Getting a little power hungry? Too juicy of electricity, man???

Cole: If you had this, you'd be excited to use it too.

Soejammy: Can't blame ya there.

As we kept fighting, more First Sons were trying to flank us on either side.

Soejammy: Things are looking dicey here friend!!

Cole: Almost done!

I was keeping the shield up to block the bullets aimed for me, as Cole sent another lightning strike down at the group of enemies. With getting the second substation online, we continued to the final substation. Like the others, it was heavily guarded as we needed to get the power back on for Cole. I know this because Cole is able to sense electricity. When a power grid is down, Cole feels the lack of electricity in the area, it messes his senses up slightly, but doesn't hinder him the least. If anything, it's just a minor nuisance to deal with for him.

Cole: Damn. They must've started taking us more seriously.

Soejammy: If this is them getting serious, I don't know what they are when they are lazy.

Cole: Probably tests on their experiments.

Soejammy: Heh. Nerds.

Cole's phone rings again as it was John once again. I was able to get myself familiar with John, or at least with him over the cell as he was hiding from people that would take him in.

John (Cole's cellphone): Cole, this is the last station you need. Get it back on and-

An explosion hit our hiding spot as I was getting irritated by backseaters.

Soejammy: If you think this is so easy, why don't YOU do it!?

John (Cole's cellphone): You don't think I would!? Unlike you two, I don't have powers! 48 seconds.

Soejammy: Then don't tell us what we already know what to do, old man!

Cole: Call you back John.

Cole hung up on John and sighed.

Cole: You have a real angerment problem.

Soejammy: I'm only angry when there are idiots around me.

Cole: Can't agree with you enough on that one.

As we kept working on getting the substations back online, trucks began to show themselves with gunners on top of them.

Soejammy: Oh, for the love of-!

As the gunners were set, I basically had to duck behind cover or become swiss cheese. I looked at Cole as he was lightning striking his truck.

Soejammy: HEY! A LITTLE HELP!?

Looking at me and then at the truck, Cole glared at it as he then sent a bolt of lightning down on top of it. The impact caused the truck and gunner mount to be destroyed simultaneously. I looked at the truck that was on fire and looked at Cole.

Soejammy: Really do not want to make an enemy out of you.

Cole: What? Hey. If anything, you helped me save Trish not once, but twice. Twice with your Daughter's help. If anything, I owe you.

Soejammy: Heh. I don't like making people owe me. I'm just doing what I do best. Helping people, protecting my friends and making sure the dumbos stay in their respective places.

Cole: Whatever. First Sons are going to start popping up, we should go.

Soejammy: Agreed.

Getting out of there, Cole and I began to rush off to get back to safety and figure out how we're going to deal with all this mess.

Soejammy (Narrator): In the coming trials ahead of us, Cole and I worked on our teamwork together and even came up with plans while not on the call with John. Zeke was of no help as all he did was call us and give us damn excuses behind his actions. No excuses there. He betrayed not just myself, but betrayed Cole three times with his actions. First the prison as he was told to guard Alden, second for activating the Ray Sphere when he knew what it would do to anyone nearby, and third, going with Kessler and leaving Cole to die. We were with Trish and my Daughter, Twilight, as we had found a safe area while sensing any threats nearby. Though, one threat was still apparent... Because I was starting to get my headache coming back... And so was my Darkness waking up...

Location: Safe House

I held my head as a soft pounding was resonating itself in my head. I groaned softly as headaches for me were my weakness as it didn't help with my thinking one bit. I was in a dark room as soft whispers could be heard in my head.

Soejammy: No. We are not doing that. I refuse to do that. It goes against EVERYTHING I stand for.

There were more whispers I could hear as there was a growl.

Soejammy: Stop it. You do not call the shots. You are my power to control. You do not control me. I refuse to let you take control of me. Not again. NEVER again...

There was a knocking at my door as I was a bit fidgety when it opened.

Twilight (Human form): Dad? You ok-

Soejammy: I'm fine! I'm fine.

Twilight (Human form): You don't sound fine...

Soejammy: You just... Don't know how hard controlling the rage the Darkness conjures is... It makes me mad so easily... Not to mention the whispers... I can feel the negative emotions from people sometimes... Ugh... Sickening...

Twilight (Human form): Is there anything I can do to help?

Soejammy: Just... Just leave me be... I need to sleep this off...

I heard the door shut behind me as I tried to lie down on the bed and think about what to do about Kessler and the Ray Sphere.

Soejammy: (The Ray Sphere... John can't by ANY MEANS be near that thing. If he does... The Beast will be made again... I have to stop John at any cost... Have to stop him... Have to...)

Before I knew it, I passed out from the stress in my head until a little later.

Time: Dawn

As I awoke, I felt my head pounding more than ever as I could feel the rays of sunlight hit my face. When I sat up, I was dizzy and in a haze as I looked to see what time it was. It was basically morning at this point as it got me alarmed.

Soejammy: Twilight!? Trish!? COLE!!

Rushing into the room, Trish and Twilight were there to answer me.

Twilight (Human form): Dad! What's wrong?!

Trish: Is your headache not going away??

Soejammy: Enough about the headache! Where's Cole!?

Trish: He got a call, saying he needed to be somewhere.

Sounds of explosions could be heard as I looked more panicked than ever.

Soejammy: NO! How did it get that late!?

I began wanting to rush, but my dizziness got to me as I held my head and had to lean against the bed.

Soejammy: N-Ngh...!

I held my head more as I was about to fall off the bed, but Twilight and Trish caught me.

Trish: Sir, you're too ill to go.

Twilight (Human form): Dad! You can't go out like this! You need to-

Soejammy (Darkness voice): ShUt Up AnD lEt Go Of Me!!!

I held my head as I was struggling to keep my Darkness under control at this point.

Soejammy: Ngh...! Damn!!!

I could see Darkness trying to radiate off of me as I yelled and struggled to stay in control.

Twilight (Human form): Dad!

Trish: Twilight, get back from him! Just in case he accidentally gets harmful!

I could feel a pair of arms hug me as I looked to see Twilight.

Twilight (Human form): Dad! I'm here with you! Let me help!

Soejammy: I don't need help! I need to stop Cole and John!

Focusing my power, I smoked out of Twilight's hold as I went through a window to begin making my way to the Harbor where Cole and John would be. 

Location: City

From the look of it, the attacks were dying down as they were moving the Ray Sphere now.

Soejammy: Have to stop John... Must kill the Beast... I AM THE BEAST...! NGH!!! STOP IT!!!

I began to rush to where the dock was as I had very little time. I was quickly trying to stay in smoke as to quickly travers through the city, but my headache made it hard to focus.

Twilight (Human form): Dad!!

Hearing Twilight's voice, I stopped and materialized to leaned against a generator on a roof.

Soejammy: Get back with Trish!

Twilight (Human form): She told me to go after you! You're not well!

Soejammy: Yeah, and soon in the future, millions more will be unwell like me! Ngh...!

I held my head as I yelled in pain as a blast of darkness escaped from my body. Cracks in the ground could be seen with how much my power was trying to escape.

Twilight (Human form): This is not you, Dad! You need to rest! Give yourself a chance to re-

Soejammy: NO!!!

I then went into smoke once more as I began to hurry and get to the harbor.

Location: Harbor

As I quickly reached the Harbor, I was really weak as I got up and tried to push through the pain. Cole had done enough destruction as I saw someone go around a corner for a moment with a black jacket and an orange hoodie.

Soejammy: No... John...!

I began trying to give chase as I heard feet coming from behind me.

Twilight (Human form): Dad! Stop!!

I casted my Darkness to make a shield to stop Twilight and strengthen it to keep her trapped in there from acts of teleporting from it.

Twilight (Human form): Dad! Let me out!

I ignored Twilight as my mission wasn't complete. I was dizzy at this point as I was trying to get to where John was and stop him before Cole did anything. Leaning against walls, I was hobbling to where Cole was with a pale look on my face as my vision was spinning at this point along with my balance. I fell to the ground as I struggled to get back up and keep going. Reaching a fence, I could see John and Cole talk to each other. I was running out of time as Cole was preparing to strike the Ray Sphere with his electricity. With my worries going over the top, I gathered my strength to yell out what I could.

Soejammy: COOOOOOOLE!!!

Yelling out, I looked to see Cole was rushing to my side as he crouched down.

Cole: Hey! What are you doing here?? You look like you're about to throw up.

Soejammy: Get John AWAY from the Sphere...!

Cole: Huh?? Why??? He helped us get the Ray Sphere. We need to-

I reached for Cole as he could see the seriousness in my eyes.

Soejammy: You DON'T understand...! That man...!! Ngh...!

I coughed as I held my head in pain as I tried to explain.

John White: COLE! WE CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!!! THEY'RE GOING TO GET THE SPHERE!!! DESTROY IT!!!

Cole: Jammy, I'll come back to get you. Just stay tight.

Cole began to run off as I reached for him.

Soejammy: No Cole! You can't! You'll be making a big mistake...!

Cole jumped onto the platform where the Ray Sphere was as I looked at him as the world began to spin.

Soejammy (Narrator): I coughed as I was sick to my stomach as my will on the Darkness was losing grip more and more. I watched Cole gather all his electricity and began to strike down on the Ray Sphere as hard as he could. The attack does break the containment, but it also shatters the Ray Sphere. Though, things don't go as planned for both Cole and John... Knowing the story, John gets caught up into the blast as he is sucked into it. Cole was beginning to move fast as he rushed to grab onto me. Helping me run, we were trying to get away from the blast when a pulse was generated as it began to rush through the area. When Cole saw this, Cole shielded me with his body as the pulse surged through both of us as I went unconscious from it.

After some time passed, I opened my eyes as I groaned and felt dizzy. I got up slowly as I held my head and looked around.

Soejammy: Ow... That really hurt... Ugh...

Cole: Hey. Rest back on the ground, idiot. You're lucky you weren't obliterated.

Soejammy: I'm fine. Really.

Cole: You're really hard headed, you know that?

Soejammy: And you are just stupid.

I groaned as I picked up a rock and chucked it to the Harbor in frustration.

Cole: What are you talking about???

Soejammy: The Ray Sphere, Cole! The Ray Sphere and John White! I was trying to stop you from doing that with John nearby because THAT was going to happen!

Cole: And just HOW do you know that?

Soejammy: You wouldn't understand!

I sighed as I leaned against the bench nearby as I looked at Cole. As I was calming down, I realized I never felt this calm before.

Soejammy: Ugh... My body feels different. What did you do?

Cole: Besides trying to pulse heal you and your Daughter, I say that I need to-

Soejammy: "My daughter"!?

I looked as I saw Twilight was on the ground as she was bruised up and looked worse for wear.

Soejammy: Nonononono!!! Twilight!?

I rushed up to Twilight as I held her in my arms and looked at her.

Soejammy: Hey! Twilight!? TWILIGHT!?

Opening her eyes with a groan, Twilight rubbed her head softly.

Twilight (Human form): Ugh... What hit me...?

Cole: A blast from the Ray Sphere. You're lucky to have been out of the explosion. You must've been hit with the force and sent flying it seems.

Twilight (Human form): "Sent flying"? I was trapped in a barrier my Dad made because he was hellbent on reaching where you and John were!

Soejammy: Hey!

Twilight (Human form): Well it's true!

Cole: Okay, both of you, stop!

Raising his voice, Cole got both Twilight and I to stop as we looked at him.

Cole: Look, we can talk about this later. For now, we need to-

Getting a call on his phone to put it on speaker.

Cole: Trish, if this is you calling, we're fine and-

Kessler (Phone): Trish isn't on the call, Cole. But count your lucky stars that I haven't even tried anything.

Hearing Kessler talk on the phone, we all became alert fast.

Cole: Kessler.

Kessler (Phone): I'm disappointed, Cole. The Ray Sphere was the catalyst of your powers, and it could've strengthened you even more. But you rejected it. I, for one, wouldn't have done the same thing.

Cole looked at his phone and looked at Twilight and I.

Cole: Yeah, well I'm not like you. It took me a while, but I finally realized that this isn't about me or what I want. You've hurt many people because of you and your First Sons. I'm telling you right now, if you do anything to Trish, or my friends, I will give you hell. If we do fight, I'll be making sure you're dead and then no one will threaten this city ever again.

Kessler (Phone): That remains to be seen. Meet me at the Station Building.

Hanging up, Cole was about to begin heading to where the location was as I reached out for his hand.

Soejammy: Hey! You're not going alone!

Cole: Sorry. But he has to answer for his crimes. Bringing you in will only make it worse.

Soejammy: Like HELL you won't! I demand you bring me with you. I have some unfinished business with Kessler, and I will not stand on the sidelines!

Cole: Can you even do anything normal right now? Huh? You were dizzy before and you looked like you were about to puke.

Soejammy: I am okay! Watch!

I began to focus as I tried to make my armor. But what surprised me was that I didn't have it anymore.

Soejammy: The hell? Okay... Shield!

Raising my arm up, I tried focusing on my shield power, but even that didn't come up.

Soejammy: Why aren't my Darkness powers working?!

Cole: Yeah, I don't have time for this. Don't come to where Kessler is.

Soejammy: But Cole!

Cole began to run off as the area was nearby as I just slumped onto the ground.

Soejammy: What happened? It was still there with me... But now... Why is it gone...? I feel... I feel relieved to be free from it now. But the one thing keeping us safe is gone...

Twilight sighed and looked at me while getting onto her knees and hugging me.

Twilight (Human form): Dad... You don't need powers to define who you are. In fact, you've come up with MANY ideas and strategies to attack on your own before. In fact, Rainbow Dash didn't want to tell you this, but she told me how you used Mini-Nep as a distraction to have Fluttershy tackle her off you.

Soejammy: But it was effective.

Twilight (Human form): Regardless of that, you are still amazing with OR without powers. You're my Dad. And he always knows how to get out of ANY situation.

I looked at Twilight and smiled as I hugged my daughter.

Soejammy: Sometimes, even a fool like me needs to be reminded...

Twilight (Human form): Not a fool, just forgetting you're not someone who can do everything.

I smiled as I got up and looked to see explosions and electricity flying.

Soejammy: Well, Cole isn't getting younger. Want to go help?

Twilight (Human form): Like how you say it, hell yeah.

Soejammy: That's the spirit!! You're not part of the Jammy-family, if you don't charge into danger haphazardly!! CHARGE!!!

Running towards the danger, we kept getting closer to where the danger was.

Location: Crater

As we arrived at the blast site where the Ray Sphere went off, this was the birthplace of Cole's powers.

Twilight (Human form): Okay, I get that it can cause damage to an area, but I didn't expect this!!!

Soejammy: Just wait until you see in inFAMOUS 2.

Twilight (Human form): There's a sequel?!

As we watched the fight, we saw Cole get into close combat with Kessler as he was trying to reach his enemy, but it was the other way around. Cole's head was grabbed by Kessler and felt his energy slip away from him. Gunshots could be heard as Zeke could be seen coming in to save Cole. Doesn't really work though as Zeke gets blown away.

Twilight (Human form): What was he expecting charging in like that?

Soejammy: Nothing at all really. Just thinks he can jump in, get a good few shots, and give time for Cole to get up.

Twilight (Human form): Wow... Shocker...

Soejammy: Was that a pun?

We didn't even get a chance to talk about that pun as Kessler noticed I was here.

Kessler: YOU!!!

Soejammy: Uh-oh.

I tried to run, but was ultimately pulled to where Kessler was.

Soejammy: I'm in trouble!

Kessler: Ever since you arrived, all my plans were down the drain and scrapped!!!

Soejammy: Not my fault you can't predict the future. "Mr. Future Man." Not all plans are laid in stone. Not when I'm around of course, but you know what I-

Kessler: Enough!

Soejammy: Hey, wait, what are you doi- AAAHHHH!!!

Kessler had decided to throw me to the ground as I was about to get up.

Soejammy: You know, if you wanted me just to be on the ground, you didn't- Ayayayayayayayayayayayaya!!!

I was beginning to be electrocuted by Kessler as I writhed on the ground.

Soejammy: WhYhYhYhYhYhYhYhY mEmEmEmEmEmEmE!?

Twilight (Human form): DAD!!

I watched as Twilight was trying to make her way towards me as I held out a hand.

Soejammy: NO! St-Stay back!!

Twilight didn't even listen to me as she focused some of her energy into blasts towards Kessler. Kessler was unfazed as he didn't even seem to register the hits.

Twilight (Human form): Leave him alone! Stop hurting him!

Kessler: So, you're the Daughter he cherishes?

Twilight (Human form): Yeah?! So what!?

Kessler looked at Twilight and then towards me as he had a sickly grin.

Kessler: If Cole couldn't understand the meaning of losing someone, I'll let someone ELSE do that for him!!

Stopping his current attack on me, I tried to breathe as I got up, but then I began to hear a scream.

Twilight (Human form): AAAhhhh!!!

I looked to see it was Twilight! Kessler was harming her!!

Soejammy: Kessler!!! NO!! LEAVE HER ALONE!!!

Kessler: You wanted to interfere with my plans? Fine, I'll just make you PART of my plans!! Starting with her!!!

Kessler lifted Twilight up into the air while increasing the intensity of the electricity coursing through Twilight.

Twilight (Human form): AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Soejammy: No Kessler!! DON'T DO THIS!!!

Kessler: Then stop me then!!! Use your own power and stop me with it!!!

Soejammy: I can't!!! I don't have it anymore!!!

Kessler: Dig deeper then! No power is gone!!! It's impossible!!!

Soejammy: I'm telling you, I DON'T HAVE IT!!!

Kessler looked at me as he gave a frown.

Kessler: Then you fail then...

I watched as Kessler tossed Twilight over to the side while high in the air as she landed on the ground hard.

Soejammy: TWILIGHT!!!

I began to rush over to where Twilight was, but began to feel electricity course through me again as I was pulled away and lifted into the air.

Soejammy: AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGH!!!!!

Kessler: I'll end you, here and now. The information you have... You are a liability!!!

I looked at Kessler and then towards where Twilight's unconscious form laid at. I began to cry as I was upset for many reasons. Upset I was weak, upset I was stuck like this, upset I let harm come to my daughter like this. I was angry. I then saw Cole get up as he rushed over to Kessler while firing his Megawatt Hammers to distract Kessler off of me. I fell to the ground as I was a little weak and got up slowly.

Cole: GO!! Check on your daughter!!!

Cole got blasted away as Kessler's focus was on Cole again. I looked to where Twilight was as I began to stumble towards her. My clothes are a wreck, my body in pain, scratches and cuts on my body from the damage. My body even felt numb from the electricity I felt. As I reached Twilight, I crouched down and saw her hurt badly. I lifted Twilight up and held her in my arms.

Soejammy: Twilight... Please... Open your eyes...

Twilight did open her eyes as she smiled.

Twilight (Human form): H-Hey Dad...

Soejammy: What were you thinking?! Jumping in and getting yourself attacked like that!? You know better than-

Twilight (Human form): Dad... Don't... I did it because you would have done the same for me...

Soejammy: That's because you're my Daughter!! The parent is supposed to protect their child!! Not the other way around!!!

I held Twilight close as I tried to look at Cole for help, but he was busy fighting with Kessler. I held Twilight closer as I was crying at this point as Twilight pushed me away from her.

Twilight (Human form): I'll be fine Dad... Really. If you can shake big hits off... So can I~

Soejammy: No. I never meant to make it seem like that. It always hurts. Every damage hurts. But keeping a strong face when in danger is something I do to keep my enemies thinking they have me pinned down!

Twilight (Human form): But you've been protecting me for so long... I didn't want to be protected anymore... I'm your Daughter... I wanted to be like you...

Soejammy: My Daughter shouldn't HAVE to be like me!! You're great just as you are, Twilight!!

Twilight (Human form): You... Really think so...?

Soejammy: Yes! I'm your Dad! I'm PROUD of you!!

Twilight (Human form): That... Makes me happy...~

I began to look around to find a way to get out of this area.

Soejammy: I'm getting you out of here! I need you to hold on tight to me and-

When I looked back down at Twilight, I widened my eyes as I looked to see she wasn't breathing.

Soejammy: Hey... Hey! Don't you do this- NO!!!

I felt my breath leaving me as I was watching this in front of me. I felt like my world was coming down again as I held Twilight in my arms to try and shake her softly.

Soejammy: Twilight... Twilight!! Don't you dare close your eyes like- TWILIGHT!!!

I held Twilight in my arms as some tears were falling from my eyes as I felt sick to my stomach. My world was crashing around me as I had no breath. Memories I had with Twilight coursed through my head as I held my Daughter in my arms and began to cry out loudly in pain, rage, regrets, and sadness. I could hear nothing except silence and a loud ringing in my ears as I was just basically in so much pain. When I began to hear sounds again, I was crying out as rain began to come down on top of me as it then began to spread throughout the area.

Third point of view.

Cole was fighting Kessler as he was dodging the blasts Kessler was throwing at Cole. Getting a chance to run up towards Kessler, Cole was trying to reach to drain Kessler of his energy.

Cole: I'm going to make you pay for what you did!

Kessler: You think you can??? Not even that man could save-!!

Feeling rain beginning to pour down, Kessler and Cole looked at the rain as it was just pouring and soon to come down harder.

Kessler: Rain?

Kessler looked at Cole to see if he was doing this as Cole just backed away.

Cole: Don't even think about it.

Kessler: If it isn't you, then who-

Lightning struck down in an area around them as it got Cole jumpy.

Cole: The hell???

Lightning struck in the area again as it was nearer to Kessler.

Kessler: What is the meaning of this!

Hearing Soejammy crying, they looked at him as he was holding Twilight in his arms tightly. When Soejammy cried out, lightning struck the ground again as another came down again.

Cole: Jammy?

Kessler: What is this I am sensing...?

Looking at Soejammy, the two could see he was putting Twilight down softly as he began to stand up. The rain began to pour harder around the area as rumblings of thunder began to stir.

Kessler: What? You think I'm going to apologize for-

Soejammy: SHUT UP!!!

Three lightning strikes came down from Soejammy's rage as all three were near where Kessler was standing.

Soejammy: I don't want your apology... I want to see you perish!!! My Daughter... MY LITTLE DAUGHTER!!!

Lightning strikes began to come down more as they struck the ground and persisted around the area. Some went away before being replaced by new ones as Soejammy just glared at Kessler.

Soejammy: You're going to regret what you did to my Daughter... Because I have NOTHING left holding me back now!!!

Raising his arms, Soejammy made a lightning strike down on Kessler as the old man was having to move for his life. Feeling scared for the first time in this fight.

Kessler: You didn't have electricity powers before!!!

Soejammy: Do I LOOK like I CARE!? RAGH!!!!

Channeling the lightning strike, Soejammy called it down on him as he raised his left arm to direct the strike to shoot through his arm in a stream of electrical charge. Kessler was on the defensive with this display of rage and power coming from Soejammy by making a barrier to filter the flow of electricity while moving away from Soejammy. Each blast being redirected was hitting the ground as it was causing abrasions in the ground could be seen as Cole was just left stunned with the damage Soejammy is causing.

Soejammy: YOU ENDED MY DAUGHTER!!! I'LL END YOU!!!

Channeling electricity, Soejammy began to move at lightning speeds as he caught up to Kessler and kicked him into the air. Streaks of lightning were around the area as Soejammy was catching Kessler and continuing a stream of attacks before hitting him next to an electrical cable with power still in the crater. Soejammy appeared next to Kessler with his energy surging across his body in rage as it was shifting from red to blue with his rage causing this to happen.

Soejammy: She was a child... A CHILD!!!

Soejammy shot a stream of electricity into Kessler.

Soejammy: But did you not even ease up!!!

Soejammy fired another stream into Kessler as the old man was yelling in pain.

Soejammy: HOW DARE YOU!!! HOW!!! DARE!!! YOU!!! HARM!!! MY!!! CHILD!!!

Soejammy was sending stream after stream, after stream of lightning on Kessler as the old man was trying to endure it with his barrier made of his own power. Soejammy wasn't just trying to finish off Kessler, he wanted to make him suffer first.

Soejammy: I did EVERYTHING to protect the PEACE!!!

Soejammy fired a stream with both hands to make the attack stronger as he got closer to Kessler who was on the ground having to endure the attack with his barrier.

Soejammy: And yet, you didn't CARE whose child you selfishly ended!!!

Being in front of Kessler, Soejammy stopped the stream to gather it for a Electromagnetic Shockwave to get Kessler into the air again. Gathering more energy, Soejammy began to fire Megawatt Hammers into the air and then fired a bolt of lightning to direct them into one strike to have Kessler land on the ground hard.

Soejammy: BUT IT WAS NEVER ENOUGH!!!

Looking around him, Kessler found there were Shock Grenades as they went off as Kessler barely had enough time to raise his defenses.

Soejammy: IT WAS ALWAYS ABOUT YOU!!! YOU AND ONLY YOU!!!

Bringing his hands together, Soejammy began to focus his energy into an attack that was an electro-magnetic ball as a field around him was formed.

Soejammy: I should have ended you before this fight even began!!! I should have stopped you!!! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME DAMN IT!!!

Throwing the ball of electricity, the impact caused an explosion that sent Kessler flying to land agains the ground in a roll. Kessler groaned as he was struggling to get up.

Soejammy: I'm not done with you yet!!! GET!!! UP!!!

Using both hands, Soejammy encased Kessler in an electric cage-like ball as he lifted him up and slammed him into the ground multiple times.

Soejammy: You wanted to see what happens when I get angry!? YOU'RE HAVING IT NOW!!!

Focusing his electricity into his legs, Soejammy jumped up with a surge of lightning coursing through him as he lifted Kessler into the air before sending him back down in the cage to make an impact zone.

Soejammy: Twilight was the only thing keeping me from ending you!!! And now... Now she's gone.

Soejammy began to dive towards Kessler for a Thunderdrop. The impact resonated with the clouds as a thunderous roar screeched across the sky. The shockwave blinded Kessler while Soejammy began to swing his fist after fist at him.

Soejammy: She never meant harm!!! She wanted to do good!!! A future to learn from!!! AND YOU TOOK THAT AWAY!!! WHY!?

Soejammy punches Kessler in the stomach.

Soejammy: WHY!?!?

Soejammy breaks Kessler's arm.

Soejammy: WHHHHHHHHHY!?!?!?

Soejammy generated Gigawatt Blades in his arms and thrusted both energy blades into Kessler's chest. They didn't cause any physical damage, but they still hurt badly for the one receiving it.

Soejammy: I hate you... I hate you SO MUCH!!!

Soejammy lifted his hand as he was charging up his energy fast as lightning was striking down where his hand was raised as it was gathering power with each strike.

Soejammy: IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED!? SOMEONE TO BE YOUR DAMN CHAMPION!? TELL ME!!!

Kessler looked at Soejammy as he closed his eyes and felt he was ready to accept defeat. Soejammy yelled out as he was about to strike down at Kessler.

???: NOOOOOOO!!!

Hearing a voice, Soejammy stopped in his tracks as the electricity was sparking in his hand violently. Soejammy was just frozen as he was trying to listen for something.

???: DON'T DO IT!!!

Turning around, Soejammy began to breathe hard as he didn't want anything to be a trick to him right now. His body soaked in rain, his eyes fueled by rage, his body trembling from all the electricity coursing through him. Soejammy was taking deep breaths as he was scared to look.

???: Don't do this... You know this isn't you... Not the you I grew up to know...

Looking in the direction of the voice, Soejammy saw Twilight as she was alive with Cole crouched to the ground. Soejammy was breathing hard as the electricity in his hand was getting unstable slowly. Twilight limped as she looked at Soejammy.

Twilight (Human form): I'm okay. I'm okay, Dad. Don't do this... You're not that kind of person I know you to be... You were like this before from what Nintega told me as you had no remorse when you had the Darkness... Don't go back on that path... It'll destroy you... Dad...

Soejammy was looking at Twilight as she just hugged him tightly.

Twilight (Human form): I'm here... Dad... I'm here...

Soejammy was softly losing the power he had in his hand as it disappeared quickly with the rain quickly dying down. The rain was fueled by Soejammy's sadness and anger, with it going away, so too was his mind being clear once again. Kessler was getting back up, barely able to stand as he looked at Soejammy.

Kessler: No... This isn't how it was supposed to go! You were going to end me!!! DO IT!!!

Soejammy: Shut up.

Stretching his arm out, an electrical blade pointing to Kessler's forehead could be seen as Soejammy gave a blank stare at him.

Soejammy: Don't even dare to try it again... If Twilight wasn't here... You'd be dead where you stand...

Soejammy then pulled back on his power to properly hug his Daughter in his arms. Kessler looked at them both as he glared at them before feeling a tapping on his shoulder. Turning around, he could see Cole.

Cole: Forgot about me?

Cole then punched Kessler into the air as Cole raised his arms up to call down a lightning strike.

Cole: DIE!!!

Twilight's point of view

As myself and Dad watched Cole, lightning was striking right down on Kessler. Cole wasn't stopping until Kessler gave up. When Cole couldn't keep the attack up, it ended as Kessler was getting up slowly as he coughed in pain. I could see his lips moving softly, as I was taking Nonverbal Communication, I could make out that Kessler was saying "Trish... I love you... Please forgive me..." I was about to speak out, when Kessler lunged at Cole and dug his fingers into his head.

Twilight (Human form): COLE!!!

Soejammy: No. This needs to happen.

Twilight (Human form): But!

Soejammy: Cole isn't dying here...

Twilight (Human form): But...!

Soejammy: Cole is learning everything from Kessler... As a dying message...

I was about to say something when Cole gasped and Kessler fell back, having perished... Zeke had finally regained some strength as he approached the area as he was confused about what had happened. Cole clenched his hand into a fist and began to walk off on his own.

Twilight (Human form): What just happened...?

Soejammy: The story I didn't want to happen...

Twilight (Human form): Why...?

Soejammy: Because... The Beast... Will be coming...

Later...

Location: Neon District

After finally leaving the Historical District, my Father and I met up with Cole and Trish. Zeke... He was just off to the side.

Cole: You two... You have helped so much...

Trish: Is there anything we can do?

My Dad raised a hand as he shook his head.

Soejammy: Of course not. We were just doing what was right and helping when needed. I'm sorry about John though...

Cole: You can't save everyone. But sometimes, it is something to work hard for.

Soejammy: Couldn't have said it better than that.

Cole: But how did you do all that? You were channeling lightning and electricity like a maniac against Kessler.

My Dad tilted his head and was confused.

Soejammy: I... I don't know...

Cole and I looked at my Father as I chipped in.

Twilight (Human form): Huh? How could you not know?

My father was confused even more as I looked at my father.

Soejammy: All I know is that, my body felt a surge of electricity and I just began doing it. Right now, I couldn't do it if I wanted. 

Twilight (Human form): Really...?

Soejammy: Until I can tap into this with no problems... Sorry...

I was about to say something, but Cole and Trish got my attention.

Trish: Your father must've experienced a painful situation as his sorrow in seeing you... Well... Die... Caused him to subconsciously call upon that power... Though... I don't know how...

I looked at Trish as I felt sad. I looked to Cole as he seemed to have thought of something.

Cole: It could have been from the blast as I did feel like some of my powers were being pushed out of me. Maybe it gave some of who I am to your Dad?

I thought about it as it did seem possible as an energy source of power doesn't just disappear.

Twilight (Human form): You do have a point. But it'll be more fun having my Dad learn his new powers instead of me for once.

I looked at my Dad as he was trying to focus his energy, but wasn't having much luck and didn't hear anything I said.

Soejammy: Huh? Learn what? I'm not going back to school! You can't make me! I HAVE TWO DEGREES!!!

Cole: Calm down, Casanova. No one said about you doing any of that.

Soejammy: Phew...

Twilight (Human form): But it will be with what I'm doing!

Soejammy: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

All of us began to laugh while my father passed out from fright. Once it was time to head our separate ways, my father and I were the first ones to leave while gazing back at Cole and Trish being happy together.

Twilight (Human form): So... You actually got the ending you wanted in this game.

Soejammy: Yup! And I do not regret it one bit!!

I sighed as I looked at my father and stared at him.

Twilight (Human form): Dad...?

Soejammy: Hmm?

Twilight (Human form): Please don't be like that again... I remembered how you were with Trixie and the Timberwolves... Please don't do that again...

My father looked at me as he stopped.

Soejammy: Twilight... I can't-

Twilight (Human form): Pinkie Promise me you won't do that again.

My father flinched as I said that and stared at him.

Twilight (Human form): If there is one thing your friend told me, you don't break the Pinkie Pie Promises. And I'm holding you to that fact. Do you Pinkie Promise?

My father looked at me and sighed.

Soejammy: Damn that Nintega... I knew he was gonna rat me out on that crap... Haaaa. Fine... I cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye. I Pinkie Promise.

Smiling at my father, I called out into the sky.

Twilight (Human form): Okay! You can beam us out! We got what we needed!

Soejammy: NINTEGA!!! I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR BUTT!!!

As I giggled in hearing my father back to normal, I was about to say something, but I thought I heard something.

Twilight (Human form): Did you say something?

Soejammy: Huh? No, no I didn't.

I looked at my father as I shrugged at the feeling as we finally left the game. Giving my father a new set of powers to learn and master with.
