Weiss POV

     (Y/N) holds my hand as we head to Professor Ooblecks class. We get there and we are a little early, so I sit (Y/N) on my lap and check his head again to see if a bruise will form there. Thankfully, nothing seems to be forming on his head, I then start tickling him again and he starts laughing. He finally gets out of my hold and tackles me to the ground, I am too busy laughing and chasing him to notice Professor Oobleck coming in.

Oobleck: Ms. Schnee, surely there is a reason for a child being in my classroom?

     (Y/N) then has me pick him up and hides his face in my chest.

Weiss: Professor Oobleck, this is (Y/N), I found him on the streets yesterday. Now I have decided to raise him myself.

Oobleck: Ah, of course, Ozpin told me about a child is going to be staying at school with you. Oh and he is a faunus, very interesting.

Weiss: About that do you think you can help me determine what kind he is, after class of course?

Oobleck: Of course.

     With that he started teaching class, he was talking about the history of the great war, again. Anyways, after a lengthy class, the bell sounded and I carried (Y/N) to the Professor. (Y/N) is standing there terrified of Oobleck and his examination, he's trying to hold back tears. So, I stand close to him and hold his hand to keep him calm.

Oobleck: Incredible, (Y/N) is a wonderful discovery. Where did he live before the lab experiments.

     When this is said, (Y/N) jumps in my arm scared.

Weiss: He doesn't really remember and it's still to scary for him to talk about. What are you thinking professor?

Oobleck: Dr. But I am thinking he is a dinosaur faunus, long thought to have gone extinct millions of years ago. What species is unclear to me as of right now.

Weiss: Maybe I can look at the library and see if I can't figure it out.

Oobleck: A wise decision. And for further notice (Y/N) is welcome in my class anytime.

Weiss: Thank you, Professor.

Oobleck: Dr.

Weiss: Whatever.

     We have a little time before combat class, so the team and I head to the library to find anything on dinosaurs. We make it and Ruby and Yang are already complaining about studying. Blake however was more than eager to help, so we start looking through book after book. Finally Blake might have a lead.

Blake: Weiss, I think I found something, take a look.

     Blake turns the book towards me and I see a three horned dinosaur with a boney shield come from the back of it's skull.

Weiss: What is this called?

Blake: Triceratops, the three horned lizard. The largest member of the group of horned dinosaurs known as ceratopsians. Also these guys were vegetarians.

Weiss: Well that explains (Y/N)'s distaste for meat.

     Blake and I look at the picture and the features on (Y/N) and see lots of similarities. So maybe he is part triceratops and that would explain why he was used in the experiments and why he doesn't have bruises on his head from this morning. Then Yang asks.

Yang: So, Weiss. How long until we start training (Y/N) to be a huntsman?

Weiss: I'll only let him train if he wants to become a huntsman. But we will have to wait until he has put on weight and we start with excercise not actual combat.

Yang: Got it, Ice Queen.

Weiss: Hey!

     We all laugh, I pick up (Y/N) and we head to Professor Goodwitch's class. As we arrive, Cardin and his hyenas are back. So I sit (Y/N) as far from them as I can, though I still felt uncomfortable being in the same classroom. Then Professor Goodwitch walks up to me and asks.

Glynda: I just need to know if (Y/N) is ready for this kind of class?

Weiss: He'll be alright. Just keep him away from Cardin and his hyenas.

Glynda: I can handle that.

     With that class starts and Jaune is up against another student and surprisingly Jaune won, I guess all that training with Pyrrha is paying off after all. The Glynda walks up and asks Cardin to pick an opponent.

Cardin: I choose the Ice Queen. *pointing his mace at me*

Weiss: I accept your challenge. *towards (Y/N)* Now you stay here, mommy will be right back.

(Y/N): Mommy going to fight butt head?

Weiss: Yes, stay with Yang and mommy will be right back.

     I kiss his forehead and head to the arena with my weapon and Cardin has a smug look on his face.

Cardin: You and that brat are going to pay for what you did.

Weiss: For what, getting your butt kicked by a girl or where you decided to harm my son?

     Cardin charges with an overhead swing and I deflect it with a white glyph. He stumbles and as he regains him self, I attack with a flurry of quick strikes. Barely able to block he counters by slamming his mace into the ground and creating a shockwave. He then tries to swing at me, to which I backflip and cause him to miss. I take advantage and use my time glyph and rush him. As he tries to recover I summon multiple white glyphs and then very quickly strike after bouncing off each one. After I bounce off the last one, I then stab the ground next to his head and look at him dead in the eyes.

Weiss: That was a warning next time you insult my son I will not be as merciful as I was today.

     I then kick his head knocking him out. Glynda calls the match and dismisses the class, as I walk back (Y/N) jumps into my arms and cheers for me.

(Y/N): Good job, mommy.

     I kiss his forhead and we all head back to our dorms for the evening and homework. While I am working on my homework, I gave (Y/N) puzzles for him to solve and he is actually really good at them, though he does prefer brute force over intellect, which is fine. He is still young but he is my son and I wouldn't have it any other way. As we get ready for bed, (Y/N) can barely stay awake so I tuck ourselves into bed and give him a kiss goodnight. He then looks at me with those (E/C) eyes and says.

(Y/N): I love you, mommy.

Weiss: I love you too, my little dew drop.
