Weiss POV

     I am with (Y/N) under my dorm bed and he is terrified of the doctor who came in to check on him.

Weiss: (Y/N), why did white coats hurt you?

(Y/N): They hurt me, they poked me with needles, they cut me and when I wasn't on the table, I was beat by security for no reason. *starts crying* I don't want to go back, I want to stay with Mommy!

     Did he just call me mommy, he must have been been subjected to illegal experiments.

Weiss: Listen sweetheart, you will stay with mommy ok. But this doctor needs to look at your wounds so I can take care of you. How about I sit with you on my lap while she looks at you?

     (Y/N) just gives a reluctant nod and follows me out and I sit on the bed and he on my lap. While reluctant at first, I helped ease him into it and the doctor was able to get a examination in, but I said no needles.

Doctor: His scars are surgical and from the looks of it he was beaten as well when he wasn't on the operating table. He is also severely malnourished and underweight. His horns would tell me he might be a bull faunus but he also has a reptilian tail so, I'm not sure what kind he is. His mental state is also concerning, this much trauma is the reason he is so distrusting towards people.

     There was a knock on the door and Ruby goes to answer it. She opens the door and Professor Ozpin and Goodwitch are there. Ruby lets them in and (Y/N) naturally holds me tight and hides his face in my shoulder.

Goodwitch: So this is who causing all the hubbub.

Ozpin: I think a explanation is in order.

Weiss: I found him in an alleyway in downtown Vale, he was hungry and alone. I couldn't leave him and we just found out that he was subjected to extensive experimentation and abuse. I have decided to take him in and raise him myself, if that's not too much of an issue?

Ozpin: Of course he can stay. And I think I know where he was experimented on.

     Ozpin then pulls up a picture of the destroyed research facility and all the dead guards and scientists. (Y/N) sees the picture and begs me.

(Y/N): Please don't send me back?

Weiss: Ssh, it's ok. I will never let anything bad happen to you, I promise, son.

(Y/N): Thank you, thank you, mommy.

     He hugs me and I finally see a smile on his face, and I just hold him and kiss the top of his head. Ozpin then tells me that if I needed anything I only need to ask him.

Ruby: Don't worry Weiss, all of us will help you in any way we can. You can count on us.

Weiss: I always can, can't I. Thank you everyone. But first I think this one needs some food and a bath. I'll get a bath started, Yang can you get some food from the cafeteria, please?

Yang: You've got it, be back in a jiffy.

Blake: I'll call Coco and see if she can make some clothing for him. I don't think he can walk around in torn shirt and pants.

Weiss: Agreed. (Y/N), please wait in the bathroom and I will get you cleaned up in a minute.

(Y/N): Ok, mommy.

Ruby: I'll sit with him until your ready.

     Ruby takes (Y/N) to the bathroom and Ozpin stops me before leaving and tells me something he didn't want to say in front of (Y/N).

Ozpin: The experiments the people were doing on him, they were trying to turn him into a living weapon. I don't know if this is his semblance, but when he gets angry he turns into some sort of monster like form. It's in the early stages so he can't control this form yet, just please keep that in mind.

Weiss: I will keep him safe, Ozpin.

     Ozpin then leaves and I get changed and get a bath started for (Y/N). As I am shampooing his hair, I really look at his horns and unlike a bull faunus, whose horns point backwards, his point forward. I am being careful as I wash him so as not to hurt him or irritate his wounds too much. As I dry him off I start to see what looks like scales on his back almost like a crocodiles back. He giggles as I touch his sides and I see he's ticklish, and I tickle him a little bit more and he continues to laugh. He then hugs me and I pick him up and kiss his cheek, I then hear a knock on the door. I put (Y/N) down and open the door slightly and Blake has some folded clothes in (Y/N)'s size. I took them and got him dressed, we come out and sit down on my bed and Ruby actually has a plate of cookies to share with (Y/N).

(Y/N): What are these?

Ruby: *gasps* You don't know what cookies are. Prepare to be amazed.

     Ruby hands him a cookie and I nod to him causing him to eat it. He gains a happy expression on his face and eats more really fast.

Weiss: Don't eat too fast you'll get a stomach ache.

     He listens and starts eating the other food Yang brought, he had an astounding appetite. After he ate it was time for bed, he was setting himself up on the floor.

Weiss: Sweety, what are you doing?

(Y/N): There's no bed so, I was going to sleep on the floor.

Weiss: Oh honey, come here. You can sleep with me.

     He gets under the blankets and I snuggle him close to me. I kiss his cheek and wrap my arms around him, I smile as he falls asleep. He just looks so peaceful, I fall asleep thinking about my new son and how I'm going to keep him safe.
