It's been three and a half months since Ayano found out she was pregnant. (cus that's when the baby bump is like kind of visible author-chan does research) Even learned they were twins (because Author-chan cant choose a gender lmao) and she still hasn't told Naruto. She just doesn't know how to properly tell him, mostly because of the question of who the father was, she wanted to dodge that question entirely.

Speaking of the father, Itachi has been visiting every few days instead of every other week. They even talked a lot about names

Flashback......

"since it's a boy and a girl how about Rin for the girl and Obito for the boy."

Ayano perks up at the names," like after Obito-nii-chan and Rin-nee-chan?" her eyes landing on a photo of Kushina, and Minato with his genin team, Rin Nohara, Obito Uchiha, and Kakashi Hatake. She was very little when Rin and Obito died, but she remembers how close she was to them. They always called her strawberry because she's 'red and sweet like one'.

Itachi nods, "I know special they were to you"

Flashback ends

Ayano smiles at the memory, as she looks around the empty house. Naruto had left early to train with Kakashi-nii, and his teammates Sakura and Sai, Sai had joined when they were going to go and bring Sasuke and Hiyori back to the village, he's doesn't have good social skills. Ayano sighs knowing it's about time she tells Naruto, so she heads off to the training grounds.

When Ayano arrives Naruto was in the middle of being smacked by Sakura. "Damnit Sakura! I've said this so many times ya know!!! DON'T HIT NARUTO!" Thankfully this stopped Sakura mid-smack allowing Naruto to run over to his sister with a huge grin. "Ayano-nee-chan! what are you doing here?"

"Well can't a woman watch their brother train with his teammates ya know" Ayano responds giving Naruto a playful glare, Sai comes over "You should start dieting you look fat," he says putting on a smile.

"YOU'VE GOT A DEATH WISH YA KNOW!!!!" Ayano says angrily, meanwhile Naruto was looking at Ayano carefully. "And I'm pregnant, not fat ya know!!!" she growls bonking Sai on the head, Naruto blinks a few times shocked. His sister was pregnant and hasn't told him, sadness and a bit of anger started to grow inside of him. Naruto thankfully calms down but Ayano could tell Naruto was upset but hiding it, "You're gonna be a great mom," Naruto says his voice cracked during the word 'mom'.

Sakura smiles not understanding the situation as usual, "congratulations, who's the father?" Ayano became uncomfortable the one question she had been dreading has now been asked, thankfully Kakashi could sense her uneasiness and asks Naruto to take Ayano home (not before congratulating her of course).

When the siblings get home Naruto finally breaks down, "It's Itachi's isn't it? He's the father" Ayano sighs knowing this would happen but secretly had been hoping this conversation wouldn't happen. "Naruto-"

"Why him nee-chan!? He murdered his entire clan and Hiyo-chan's mom!" Ayano flinches, "Naruto listen, it wasn't his fault. He-"

"of course it was! And it's his fault Sasuke and Hiyo-chan left!" Naruto argues, why was his sister defending a murderer, not to mention someone who tried to kidnap him! Ayano couldn't take it anymore she hated hearing people talk about the man she loved that way she has had enough. "Because the Uchiha clan was planning on using the nine tails to destroy the village! Itachi had no choice after his cousin Shisui died, it killed Itachi inside knowing he had to do it! Hell, Itachi wanted Sasuke to get stronger so he could kill him, so he didn't have to deal with the guilt anymore!" Tears stream down Ayano's cheeks as she continued, "he spared Hiyori because he knew how much Sasuke like her, so he wanted them to be happy together ya know!"

Naruto stands there in shock, his anger was washed away and replaced with guilt. He hated seeing his sister cry he knew how much she cared about Itachi and now knowing this information he finally understood. "I-I'm sorry nee-chan I... I didn't know"

"we're planning on telling Tsunade-san. I just worry about Danzo he's the reason for Shisui's death and the massacre, if he finds out that people know the truth he'll tell the elders and probably have us killed" Naruto frowns, "If that Danzo guy tries anything I'll beat him up dattebayo"
