Tsunade's POV: (didn't see that one comin did ya)

I'm stuck in my office writing a letter to a feudal lord when Shizune comes in and tells me Ayano and Naruto were here to see me. Ayano comes in nervously while Naruto is smiling like always, "Hey granny Hokage!" Naruto greets me. "Hello Tsunade-san, sorry if we were interrupting y-"

"But this is important dattebayo!" Naruto interrupts Ayano-chan, both of us cringe at his volume. I sigh, "alright what is it?" I'm guessing it has to do with ramen or his missions, honestly, this beats writing those stupid letters. Ayano looks hesitant before taking a deep breath, "the entire Uchiha massacre is Danzo Shimura's fault." I blink taken aback, didn't expect her to say something like that.

Ayano continues "the Uchiha clan was blamed for the ninetails attack 16 years ago which led the rest of the village to hate them. So the clan was going to use the ninetails to destroy the village as revenge, Itachi was under a lot of pressure for a long time having joined the Anbu, which the Uchiha clan had Itachi spy on the council and Lord Third, while the council and Lord Third asked him to spy on his clan. I let him talk to me about it and we both decided to get married in hopes of stopping the village from hating the Uchihas because of me being the daughter of the Fourth Hokage."

I nod trying to process this new information, "but sadly our plan only led to the village thinking I was on Uchiha's side not the village's, a few years later things had been getting worse between the village and the Uchihas, but Itachi's cousin Shisui told the council about his Mangekyou Sharingan ability called 'Kotoamatsukami' which casts a subtle mind-controlling genjustu on others. Shisui was going to use it on the clan so they would no longer want to attack the village. Itachi later told me that Lord third had agreed to this plan but Danzo would later attack Shisui, and steal one of his eyes." My eyes widen "damn him! I knew his methods of protecting this village were strange, I didn't know he went that far, but wait didn't Shisui commit suicide?" I ask.

Ayano nods "yes, Shisui was able to get away but knew Danzo would find him and steal his other eye so he gave it to Itachi then fell off a cliff into the Nakano river. Itachi came home that night crying, and told me Shisui was dead, later telling me that Danzo forced him into killing the clan and allowing Sasuke to live because if he didn't Danzo would have his Root kill them instead."

I nod, "Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I'm guessing this is all to bring Itachi Uchiha back to the village?" Naruto and Ayano-chan nod in response to my question, "Yes, he doesn't deserve to be cast out for protecting his village dattebayo!" Naruto replies before adding to it by saying "plus he's gonna be a dad soon". My eyes widen I didn't even notice she was pregnant, "As the Fifth Hokage I am happy to announce that Itachi is officially pardoned I will speak with Danzo telling him if he harms or orders people to harm anyone that knows he shall be executed. And congratulations"

Ayano wipes tears from her eyes "thank you Tsunade-san"

Reg POV:

Ayano and Itachi leave Tsunade's office, "See, everything will be fine dattebayo!" Naruto says hugging his sister. Ayano nods happily, finally, Itachi could come home.

They could be a family

The only problem now was the fact that Sasuke is still seeking revenge, not yet knowing the truth about his brother. How were they going to tell him, or even find him, last she heard from him was at Hiyori and his wedding.

The siblings return home to be greeted by a crow in the house, Naruto's eyes widen, "There's a crow in the house!" Naruto rushes to try and catch the bird which was swiftly dodging Naruto's flailing arms.

"Naruto calm down ya know, it's Itachi," Ayano says patting her brother on the head, making the blonde pout "I knew that". And in a poof of smoke the crow was now Itachi, Ayano smiles and hugs him and he gives her a small smile placing a hand on Ayano's stomach, and starts rubbing it gently. "Hello little ones," he says softly, Itachi then looks at Naruto then looks away awkwardly. "Hello Naruto, I..." Naruto nods cutting Itachi off, "I know, it's okay dattebayo."
