Ayano was hearing a knock on her door "Coming" she calls out before running to the door she cleans up the apartment a bit. But when she answers the door it's...

"Lord Third what are you doing here?" she looks down nervously "I've heard that you got into a fight not to long ago" Ayano sighs "The were making fun of me and mom and dad." The Hokage sighs "I'm not here to lecture you about attacking your classmates  I have more important things to tell you" Ayano looks at him confused before allowing him to come inside and goes to make some tea "So what is it you wanted to talk about Lord Third?" she says as she pours some tea into a cup and hands it to her guest.

"We have decided to make you and Itachi Genin" Ayano nods "oh good glad it wasn't anything bad...." she pauses and thinks "GENIN!!!!" she cries out in surprise "well technically Itachi will be a Genin you will be a Jonin but I thought you should be a Genin first"  Ayano is even more shocked "J-Jonin but I'm only six I-" The Hokage puts a hand on her shoulder "You are perfectly capable of being a Jonin or a Genin because you can use the flying thunder god technique"

Ayano nods "ok"

Time skip of like a few months (i think)

Ayano was sitting next to Itachi with the other genin "Alright now onto team 15..."
"Emi Hyuga"a blonde haired girl with pale eyes stands up. "Nori Oono" A greyish brown haired boy with blue eyes looks up "And Ayano Uzumaki Namikaze" Ayano gets up.

Two years later...
Ayano is walking around the village with some dango and stops when she sees a familiar face "ITACHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ayano runs over to him and his dad hugging Itachi tightly making him smile.

Sorry for interrupting your time Itachi but do you have a moment to talk?" Itachi looks to Fugaku and the older Uchiha nods

"I haven't been able to talk to you in a while sorry for that" Ayano says looking down ashamed. "No it's alright I'm busy as well with my team" Itachi replies trying to cheer her up "No I mean like I'm now the jonin leader of my team" Itachi is taken aback he never thought she would say something like that. "What happened to your original jonin leader and why are you the jonin?" Ayano begins to tell Itachi about her mission  "we were supposed to take down a low rank group of rogue ninja's but they were stronger than anticipated and killed her I killed all of them and brought the rest of my team home and Lord third named me the teams Jonin due to me being qualified enough for it even saying so when we were made genin but he wanted me to be a genin first"

Ayano hugs Itachi tightly starting to cry "I... I still hear their screams and see their bodies it hurts I could have saved her." Itachi wipes her tears kissing her cheeks "It's ok it's ok."  "Hey!" a voice calls out from behind the two it was a boy with dirty blonde hair.   "We have another mission, so stop flirting" he starts to walk away "WE WEREN'T FLIRTING YA KNOW!!!!" Ayano shouts back "Itachi" Itachi looks down at Ayano "I'll see you later ok" Itachi nods

A few days later...

Itachi and his team had returned from their mission and then  hearing that they were going to to on another mission a few weeks later.

"So I am to help a squad with a misson to guard the daimyo of the Land of Fire?", "Yes with Yuki's squad" Ayano nods

At the entrance of the village...

"So why are we waiting here?" Emi complains "Quit your whining Emi, we are here to wish redhead luck on her mission with Tenma's squad" Nori yells back, Emi puts a hand on Nori's mouth and points "Look someones here!!!" Ayano and Nori look to see where Emi was pointing, it was Itachi and his team. "Oh thank the stars you guys showed up, now we can leave!" Ayano smacks Emi "don't be rude ya know" Emi grabs her head and pouts "Sorry for embarrassing you in front of your crush Sensei" Ayano blushes as red has her hair. 

The dirty blonde haired boy from a few days ago was there along with a girl with greyish brown hair. The two look around "Wait this is a mission with our team and a jonin why are you guys here" Nori looks over at the team and sighs "the jonin is here" Emi raises her arms "behold our sensei Ayano Uzumaki Namikaze"

Ayano steps forward and and waves. "WHAT!!!!?"

"Their sensei died so the Hokage made Ayano-san the Jonin sensei of their team" Yuki explains. Itachi walks over to Ayano  "so does this mean I have to call you Ayano-sensei" Itachi asks with a smile. Ayano chuckles then her red hair floats as she glares "never call me that again". Itachi who is still smiling but is still terrified.

Emi chuckles "You two are adorable" Ayano and Itachi blush then glare at the blonde Hyuga who in turn smiles wider and grabs Nori and start to walk away."and we will let you guys get to it"

When Ayano's team is gone Yuki looks back at his genin and Ayano "Anyway the lands are all relaxed now that the war is over, so travel between countries is so much safer now. Which is why we can assign this sort of mission to genin-centered teams" Yuki-sensei explains "So the five of us are to guard him?" Tenma  asked

Ayano nods "Yeah but some Anbu are going to be watching in the shadows" 

During the mission...

Team two and Ayano were surrounding the daimyo in a loose circle. They were almost at the village but Ayano sensed a presence "We should hurry if we can" Ayano says to the daimyo who nods in return. She then notices Itachi giving her a look she nods and takes out one of her kunais, the twelve guardian ninjas that were also with them grabbed the daimyo and put him in his palanquin. as a man in a mask with long black hair was before them Ayano felt that his chakra was familiar but she didn't think long on it before one of the twelve guardian ninjas asked if everything was ok "we're just going to check this out" Yuki replies "please wait here" the masked man moved forward during the conversation and asked if he could ask a question. Even his voice sounded slightly familiar to Ayano. Yuki said that the road was closed then was put under a genjutsu along with the daimyo and his guards

Ayano looked around to see if some others were not in the genjutsu there was just Itachi and Tenma "and then there were three" before Ayano and Itachi could do anything Tenma ran at the masked man but the attack went through him and then Tenma let out a cry in pain as he fell to the ground. Blood gushed from the boys body flowing onto the ground his body twitching for a few seconds before his body stopped moving completely, Ayano's eyes widen before remembering her sensei's death another death she could have prevented.

Her breathing got faster putting her hands on her head feeling her soft red hair not paying attention to the fact that Itachi was being choked when she does however she throws a kunai at the masked ninja and as she hoped it went right through him and she uses her teleportation jutsu and teleports behind him and a rasengan in her hand as she charges at the masked man the rasengan hits him and he falls back a little dropping Itachi, then turns to Ayano teleports to Itachi helping him up, the masked man walking towards them "so you grew strong strawber-"

Before he could finish he looks towards the sky "Kakashi Hatake" he turns back towards the two "A narrow escape for you two" then he disappears not long after four figures appeared all wearing animal masks they were anbu elite ninja led by the Hokage.

The smallest anbu  teenager with grey hair and a fox mask walked towards them "are you two alright?" Ayano runs towards the ninja and hugs him "Nii-chan!!" she says as she starts to cry into his chest. The masked ninja hugs her back then pets her head in an attempt to calm her down as the young Kunoichi continues to cry.
