It had been a few weeks, Danzo was killed by Sasuke, Hiyori was in a coma, and the fourth great ninja war had begun!

Itachi has been very worried because he isn't allowed to fight in the war. Ayano has to reassure him that it will be okay, though she is also saying this for herself.

On a particular day, Ayano woke up from a nap after Itachi had practically dragged her into the bed because the poor redhead hadn't slept in days. When she looks around she spots no Itachi anywhere and can't sense his chakra anywhere. Ayano groans, "Of course he did" She knows her husband too well. He had snuck out to find Sasuke and help him because the poor teen was a mess, according to what Kakashi said the last time she saw him. Ayano gets out of bed and prepares herself to go find him and drag his ass back home.

Ayano also had no choice but to bring the twins with her. (because nobody could babysit for her because of the war) This also would not take long at all because Ayano has one of her flying thundergod seals on Itachi's person at all times. So after getting the twins settled she teleports to Itachi.

She is now in a cave right behind Itachi who was in the middle of a conversation with Sasuke. Once noticing her presence the two Uchihas get a shiver down their spines as she grabs Itachi's shoulder. "Itachi Uchiha! You are in deep shit ya know!!"

Itachi sighs knowing he's going to get an earful if he doesn't apologize and explain himself, Itachi gets on his knees and does so. Ayano looks down at her husband and sighs, "I know you want to help during this war Itachi but you're still recovering and I don't want anything to happen to you ya know." she says sounding calmer than before, with her arms wrapped around her children in baby slings on her chest. "I know, I just felt Sasuke needed me."

Ayano nods understandingly and then looks at her brother-in-law. Sasuke looks exhausted the bags under his eyes are more distinct than they have in past times he's been without sleep meaning it's been for a longer period of time. She frowns shaking her head, "Sasuke... I know you have been through a lot these past few weeks. But you have to sleep ya know."

"She's still not waking up..." Sasuke says quietly under his breath.

Ayano frowns, this must be really hard for Sasuke, he did cause this, after all, well he somewhat did. "Don't give up Sasuke You'll find a way to wake her up soon ya know."

Sasuke nods, then looks at the sleeping babies in Ayano's arms. He felt his lips curl into a small smile.

"Thanks..."
