Sorry about the delay for this chapter, I completely forgot that I didn't add this chapter to Wattpad opps. But the good news is since it's summertime I now have the time to write hopefully my writer's block will end because I really want to continue writing this book and my Hiyori book.

It had been a few days since Pein attacked the village, which is quickly being rebuilt. Naruto was being seen as a hero, this of course made Ayano ball her eyes out.

Though there was also a big issue...

Tsunade was unconscious and the village needed a Hokage. And the person who was 'put in charge' was.....

Danzo

Ayano was terrified, thankfully Itachi and her had previously warned Naruto not to get involved with Danzo and his men. But knowing Naruto, he would most likely do the exact opposite.

"It has been a while since I have seen you Ayano-san"

Ayano's eyes widen, she knew that voice and who it belonged to....

Danzo!!!

She quickly turns around to look at Danzo who had just walked into the tent she was in. (she's sharing a tent with Naruto and Hiyori who were not there at the moment, Itachi is there too but that part would be obvious)

"I'm surprised I startled you. You were always so vigilant, perhaps having children has made you lose your touch" Danzo says rather unamused. (for something most people would say with a smirk)

Ayano sighs internally, she wants nothing more than to beat the crap out of him but doing so would make her be seen as an enemy to the village. "so why are you here ya know?" Ayano asks looking back at Rin and Obito whose diapers she was changing before Danzo showed up.

Danzo looked around the tent for a moment then his eyes landed on Itachi who was currently sleeping. Ayano notices Danzo's gaze so she picks up the twins and lays them down close to her husband, then put herself in between her family and Danzo. "I heard you are now the Hokage so one would think you'd have more important things to do than see me and my family," she says with her arms crossed.

Danzo scowls, "I was informed that Itachi Uchiha was welcomed back into the village not too long ago and I wanted to see for myself."

It was just as Ayano feared, he was going to try and do something to Itachi. Ayano takes a breath collecting herself, "Yes, Tsunade pardoned him and allowed him to return"

"I find that odd as I recall Itachi murdered all the Uchihas except for Sasuke. I don't believe you can pardon a massacre."

"I'd like you to leave Danzo"

Ayano's temper suddenly took control of her. "and I hope you don't come to see us again ya know."

Danzo leaves, and Ayano lets out a sigh of relief.

Later on, Ayano found out that Danzo had deemed Sasuke a rouge ninja and to be deposed. Itachi started to grow more and more worried for his younger brother.

And apparently, Hiyori went to find Sasuke.

A week later it was announced that Danzo was killed by Sasuke and that the Fourth Great Ninja War has begun. Itachi desperately wanted to help but Tsunade said it was better he stayed in the village to keep it safe from harm.

Now Ayano was gazing at the Hokage monument.

"So much has happened, dad... I... I'm scared, I don't want anyone to die. And Naruto went off to learn to control the ninetails. I wish you and mom were here, I miss you both so much..."

She pauses for a moment wiping a tear from her eye. "I have two children now, Obito and Rin, after Obito-nii-chan and Rin-nee-chan. I... I hope I'm making you all proud ya know."
