It was nighttime in Ponyville and everyone is celebrating Halloween or Nightmare Night as they call it in their world.

We see Spike dressed as a dragon.

Spike: "Ugh, come on, Twilight. We're gonna be late for the Nightmare Night festival."

Suddenly, Twilight comes out from her room, revealing to dressed Star Swirl the Breaded.

Spike: "Huh? Are you that one kooky grandpa from Ponyville Retirement Village?"

Twilight: "I'm Star Swirl the Breaded."

Spike was dumbfounded.

Twilight: "Father of the amniomorphic spell?"

Spike still stares, earning a glare from the Element of Magic.

Twilight: "Did you even read that book I gave you about obscure unicorn history?"

Spike: "Uh..."

He then heard a doorbell.

Spike: "Oh, I wonder who could that be?"

Spike goes to open the door and when he did, he gets jumpscared by Speedy, in his Great Werehog form.

Speedy roared.

Spike screamed in terror before passing out, earning a laugh from Speedy.

Speedy: "Opps. Looks like I'd got him good... Hey there, Twilight."

Twilight giggles.

Twilight: "Hi, Speedy. Hmm, what kind of costume are you wearing?"

Speedy: "This isn't a costume. This is another one of my forms. I am... The Great Werehog!"

Twilight: "Well, I am Star Swirl the Breaded. You know, from the obscure unicorn history?"

Speedy: "Nice. You know, you look pretty cool with that costume on."

Twilight blushed, smiling seductively.

Twilight: "Ohh~ My knight in shining armor is trying to hit on me~ How bold of you~?"

Speedy: "Relax, "Star Swirl". Spike is in the room and he's walking up now."

Spike then wakes up.

Speedy: "Hey, Spike. Sorry if I scared ya."

Spike: "Scared? Me? I wasn't scared! I'd just... caught something in my nose."

Twilight: "Sure you did, Spike."

Another knock was heard and Spike goes to open it again, only to yelp all of a sudden to see three girls with their costumes on and candy bags.

Girls: "Nightmare Night! What a night! Give us something sweet to bite!"

Twilight: "Hi, everyone. Great costumes. Happy Nightmare Night, Granny Smith."

G. Smith: "I should have been asleep five hours ago."

Speedy: "Want me to take you home, Granny?"

G. Smith: "It's alright, sonny... I'll manage."

Twilight gives candy each of the girls and boys until a boy stumbles in to introduce himself to the Sparkle household.

Pipsqueak: "Pipsqueak the Pirate, at your service. It's my very first Nightmare Night."

Twilight: "Since you moved here from Trottingham?"

Pipsqueak: "No, my very first Nightmare Night ever."

Speedy: "Cool. You dressed up as a pirate. Not bad, kid."

Pipsqueak: "Whoa! You must be Speedy the Hedgyian, are you? It's an honor. I heard so many stories about you. Nice costume."

Speedy: "Thanks, kid."

Twilight whispers to Speedy.

Twilight: "You're not gonna tell him it's not a costume?"

Speedy: "I don't want to scare little kids half to death. That'll be uncool of me to do."

Twilight: "Good point."

Speedy: "Well, I'm off. Going to take a look around to see if everything's okay. You kids stay safe out there, okay?"

Pipsqueak and the other kids nodded.

Pipsqueak: "Yes sir, Mr. Speedy."

Speedy: "No need for formal, kid. Just call me Speedy, alright?"

Suddenly, Pinkie Pie, who dressed as a chicken, pops up out of nowhere.

Pinkie: "Enough, chitchat! Time is candy!"

Twilight: "Pinkie Pie, aren't you a little old for candy?"

Pinkie: "Too old for free candy? *chicken squawk* Never."

Speedy chuckled.

Speedy: "Happy Nightmare Night to you too, Pinkie Pie."

Pinkie Pie gasped at Speedy's appearance.

Pinkie: "Sweet Celestia, Speedy! What happened to you!?"

Speedy: "Relax, Pinkie, it's me. I'm just looking like this to bend in and enjoy the holiday. What do you think? Scary, huh?"

Pinkie: "No kidding. It looks good on you. The teeth and the spikes on your shoes and the fur. All you need to do is to scare me, Speedy."

Speedy: "Scare you, are you sure?"

Pinkie: "Yeah, go ahead. I can take it. Just give it a good one."

Speedy: "Well... alright, if you insist."

Pinkie gets jumpscared.

Pinkie: "Wow, that was good, Speedy. You're definitely going to win the costume contest!"

Speedy: "A costume contest? Huh. Guess we'll wait and see, huh? Have fun and stay safe, Pinkie Pie."

Pinkie: "You too, Speedy."

Speedy then goes out to search for Rainbow Dash.

Speedy: "Hello? Hey, Rainbow Dash! Where are you?"

Suddenly, Rainbow Dash swoops by and descends in front of Speedy, whistles as she checks him up.

R. Dash: "My my~ Speedy, look at you all buffed with those muscles, teeth and fur. You look super awesome."

Speedy: "Thanks, Dashie. And what are you supposed to be?"

R. Dash: "I'm one of the members of the Shadowbolts. They may be rivals of the Wonderbolts, but they do look intimidating, don't they?"

Speedy: "No kidding. That's cool. You look pretty sick with that costume on."

R. Dash: "Aww, thank you, Speedy."

The two shared a kiss on the lips before the pair sets off together.

Speedy: "So, where's Scoots?"

R. Dash: "She's trick or treating with her friends. She'll be okay. Man, this is gonna be great. Let's find the others."

Suddenly, Princess Luna arrives and everyone in Ponyville bows to her. But Twilight smiles and walks up to Luna.

Twilight: "Happy Nightmare Night, Princess Luna."

P. Luna: "Happy Nightmare Night, Twilight Sparkle. How are you this evening?"

Twilight: "I'm doing wonderful."

P. Luna: "Very good."

Speedy and Rainbow Dash went to the Carousel Boutique to see Rarity and the rest of the gang dressed up and ready. Rainbow Dash then forms a sinister grin as she grabs Speedy and takes him under the bushes.

R. Dash: "Hey, Speedy. I just got a very good trick for them. Wanna hear it?"

Speedy: "Shoot."

Rainbow Dash whispers in Speedy's ear and when she's done, he nods at her as Rainbow Dash comes out of hiding and meets the girls.

R. Dash: "Hey girls, how's it going?"

Pinkie: "HI DASHIE!"

Applejack: "Howdy, Sugarcube."

Fluttershy: "Happy Nightmare Night, Rainbow Dash."

Rarity: "Rainbow Dash, darling. Have you seen Speedy? I thought he would be here to join us."

Rainbow Dash makes a small chuckle, while Speedy makes his plan in motion. He then jumpscares the girls.

Rarity: "OH MY WORD!!!"

Rainbow Dash laughs.

R. Dash: "Oh man, that was so good!"

Speedy: "Hey girls, it's me, Speedy."

Applejack: "Oh Golly, Sugarcube. You sure got me good. I didn't see that coming."

Fluttershy: "Speedy, as a friend... NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! Excuse me for yelling, it's just that, I don't like getting jumpscared so sudden. I'd get scared easily."

Speedy: "Sorry, Flutters. I won't do it again. I promise."

Fluttershy: "Well... okay, I trust you."

After that, the gang decided to go to the center of town to celebrate Nightmare Night. On the way, Speedy was explaining everything to the Mane Six and Spike about his Werehog form.

R. Dash: "So wait, you lose your speed when you transform into this? That's gotta suck."

Speedy: "Yeah, but I'm not complaining. If speed won't be enough to get the job done, then perhaps, strength is everything. Am I right?"

Applejack: "You took the words right under my mouth, Sugarcube."

Fluttershy: "But how could you fight if you're like this, Speedy? Does this form grants you any special powers?"

Speedy: "Of course, Flutters. I can "flex" my arms and grab any items or obstacles to my advantage. Look, watch."

He flexes his arms, much to everyone's shock and amusement.

Rarity: "My word, darling~ Your muscles sure look incredible~"

Pinkie: "They sure are, right?"

The girls were blushing and swooning over Speedy's muscles, making Spike jealous as he wishes he can get some muscles someday. As they arrived to the center of the village, they saw some people screaming in terror for some reason.

Speedy: "What the...?"

The gang turn to hear roaring and saw a bunch of Timberwolves are terrorizing everyone in Ponyville.

Rarity: "Oh no, it's the Timberwolves!"

Speedy: "Timberwolves...?"

Twilight: "A race of wolf-like creatures located in the Everfree Forest. They're the most terrifying creatures all over Equestria."

Fluttershy: "They're going to ruin Nightmare Night if they keep scaring away everyone."

Pinkie: "You gotta do something, Bluey."

Speedy: "Don't worry, Pinkie. I'll handle this. Time to show those Timberwolves a real scare."

With a battle cry or rose, Speedy charges at one of the Timberwolves and the battle starts when Speedy stretches his arm and delivered a punch straight to one, then another, and another wolf tries to attack Speedy. But he attacked with his claws, sending both Timberwolves in opposite directions. Three more Timberwolves knew that this would be trouble, so they called on reinforcements, much to everyone's worried for Speedy's safety.

Mane Six and Spike: "Look out, Speedy!"

Speedy looks ready and as all the Timberwolves rushed in, they dogpiled him, thinking that they have won. However, Speedy used brute force to toss them off of him, going "Unleash" mode. He then attacks the Timberwolves off-screen as everyone tries to look away but kept staring at Speedy's brutal takedowns. In the end, Speedy was victorious.

Speedy: "I think that's all of them. You all are safe now, everybody."

Everyone in Ponyville cheered and thanks Speedy before they resume trick or treating with their kids.

Applejack: "Nice going, Sugarcube."

R. Dash: "Yeah, that was awesome!"

Rarity: "You'd shown those ugly, nasty and hideous creatures like it was nothing."

Fluttershy: "You were so brave."

Pinkie: "You were so hot out there, Bluey~!"

Twilight: "You did a great job, Speedy."

Speedy: "Thanks, girls. Now, come on, it's time for us to party!"

And so, they made it to the party and everyone in Ponyville was dancing.

Twilight: "Hey, Speedy, would you like to dance with me?"

R. Dash: "Whoa, Twilight! What do you think you're doing? I'm his alpha female, remember? So, I get to dance with Speedy first!"

Rarity: "Sorry dearie, but Speedy's dancing with me first for being too hot and handsome!"

Applejack: "No way, Rarity. Sugarcube's dancing with me first."

Pinkie: "Sorry AJ, but Bluey's dancing with me!"

Fluttershy: "Um girls, I think it would be better if Speedy dances with me first."

And so, the Mane Six starts arguing on who should dance with Speedy first and the boys watch from the sidelines.

Spike: "You must be the luckiest in the would to date those six."

???: "Ooh, Spike~"

Spike turns to see the Cutie Mark Crusaders are here and tackles Spike onto the ground, getting hugs and kisses from the trio, earning a chuckle from Speedy.

Speedy: "Right back at you, buddy."

Then, everything fade to dark.

Episode cleared.
