It has been 16 years since Speedy went through the portal to a new world and watched his mother passed away. Since then, Speedy has been growing up into a 18th-year-old Hedgyian while keeping low and hidden from everyone in the village. He never found a place for him to crash so instead he just sleeps outside during the lake somewhere peace and quiet and he was fine with that.

However, his moment of peace has come to an end when some guards came and took him in to show their princesses.

{Scene Change: Canterlot}

Royal Guard: "Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, please excuse for my sudden arrival. We have found what seems to be a Hedgyian who was last from Ponyville."

Sun Princess: "How interesting. A Hedgyian last seen in Ponyville?"

Moon Princess: "Has he been giving you trouble catching him?"

Royal Guard: "Strangely, no. He didn't even notice he was being watched. So we waited for the right moment to bring him in for you."

Sun Princess: "You have done well, my royal guard. Now, let me and my sister speak with him alone."

Royal Guard bows before taking his leave, leaving the Hedgyian alone with the Royal Sisters.

Moon Princess: "Is this the one, sister? The Hedgyian you've been seeing in your dreams?"

Sun Princess: "No doubt about that, sister. This is the creatures we are looking for. This one will be the one who will protect our world from evil threats. His days of being hidden are over."

Speedy awakes from his slumber and gets up, yawning and scratching his arms. He then finds himself in a castle and saw two alicorns ahead.

Speedy: "Whoa... Where am I?"

Sun Princess: "Glad to see you awake, Speedy the Hedgyian."

Speedy: "W-Who are you and how do you know my name?"

Moon Princess: "Be calm, Hedgyian. We mean you no harm. I am Princess Luna, Princess of the Moon."

Sun Princess: "And I am Princess Celestia, Princess of the Sun."

P. Celestia: "We have heard about what happened to your mother, Longclaw. We are sorry for your loss."

Speedy: "My mother did everything she could to protect me by telling me to stay hidden from the outside world. If only I have listened to her more, she wouldn't have to perish by the tribe."

P. Luna: "Do not blame yourself, young one. You didn't know you were being followed. And I know for a fact that your mother wants you to be safe and do what promised you. Which is why our guards brought you."

Speedy: "For what?"

P. Celestia: "So, we can help you start your quest. You don't have to hide anymore. You can roam freely as you please. Everyone in Ponyville will treat you as a friend. Which is why I've informed my faithful student Twilight Sparkle about you. She and her friends will be waiting to meet you. You can head there and start becoming their new friend."

Speedy: "T-Thank you, Princess Celestia and Luna. I appreciate what you're doing for me but why?"

P. Luna: "Because your mother wants you to have a good life. And I'm certain that's what she wants."

P. Celestia: "Now, there will be a purple dragon who goes by the name of Spike. You will find him at the entrance."

Speedy nods and thanks the princesses again by giving them a thumbs up. Then in a split second, he sped off, catching the two Alicorns by surprise.

P. Celestia: "My... What remarkable speed."

P. Luna: "Yes, sister. He certainly is gifted."

{Scene Change: Ponyville}

We see a purple dragon with his hands in his pockets, waiting for Speedy to arrive.

And then, Speedy showed up in two seconds flat.

Speedy: "Hello there. You wouldn't happen to be Spike by any chance, huh?"

Spike: "That's me. And you must be Speedy, right?"

Speedy: "In the fresh."

Spike: "Cool. Twilight and her friends are waiting for us at the Castle of Friendship."

Speedy: "Lead the way, buddy."

Spike then leads Speedy to the Castle of Friendship, where Speedy will meet his new friends.

And so, everything fade to darkness.
