"Raptor!?" 

"Starscream?" 

The two seekers stared at one and other either's optics wide. A large relived grin grew on Raptor's face plate. The silver seeker couldn't help but smile a little. 

The brown femme rushed over and wrapped her arms around the larger seeker laughing relieved for her old friend. 

"I can't believe your alive!" Raptor chuckled looking up at the seekers face

"I've always been good at staying alive huh?" the mech chuckled softly glancing away 

"We have to get you too the royalty!" Raptor suddenly stated and grabbed him by the arm, "She'll be so happy!!" 

A hot wave of pure guilt and fear washed over the silver mech as the smaller femme tried to tug him forward.

"(Y/N) is.... Here?" Starscream wasn't sure he wanted the answer he was gonna get 

"Yes of course! Now stop being a stubborn grounder and move your pedes! I know you've must have been dying to see your love again!" Raptor grunted still trying to tug the larger seeker forward 

Starscream swallowed thickly as his wings fell straight down at the thought of seeing his court mate after all these years. Especially after what side he has alined himself with. His wings rattled as they trembled, he'd have to check what was loose later.... If he had a later to look forward too. 

"Stars?" Raptor asked looking at her friend, "Lets go?" 

Starscream looked at the smaller femme with a guilty and almost fearful expression, "I can't..."

Raptor released his arm and faced him with a huff her wings twitching in an annoyed manner.

"What do you mean you 'Can't'?" She did air quotes as she said can't, "Its the royalty! Its your c-" 

The femme stopped mid sentence finally taking in her old friend's frame. Mostly the bright red insignia branded into his chassis. Plain for all to see. Plain to tell the betrayal of his race. 

Raptor shot her yellow tinted optics back up to his face her expression morphing into many different ones as she processed the fact.

Starscream was a decepticon. 

Tears welled in her optics as anger built up and bloomed in her chassis.

"Raptor..." Starscream started, but he found he couldn't finish 

More likely fine an excuse good enough to explain his predicament. So he remained quiet as Raptor's optic ridges tilted down in anger.

"How.... How could you!?" She choked out 

"I..." Starscream swallowed hard 

"HOW Starscream!?" She sobbed wings flaring, "You! My friend! The court mate of the royalty! How in the deepest, bloody hole of pit could you!?" 

Starscream just looked down. He found his words caught in his throat pipes. He just couldn't get an explanation in his defense out, but he doubted no matter how many words he spoke he couldn't fix what he's done. 

Raptor glared at him as she straightened herself tilting her chin up, "You are no more than a cowardly grounder." 

Starscream didn't retort as he would have if it was someone on the Nemesis. He just slid down to his knee joints his helm tilted down.

"Everyone expected so much to come from you. Looks like you let them down." Raptor spat through her denta, "It would be better if you were dead." 

Starscream found himself in agreement with her words.

Raptor looked away, "I just can't look at you." 

Starscream couldn't help the pitiful whimper that broke his silence 

"I have no pity for you grounder." she growled, "You are dead to everyone." 

With that she took off and flew away leaving Starscream to sulk in his sadness and guilt.
