Chapter 1

"-We found another group of survivors." The mech reported with a hum as you walked down the ledge cut out the the rock

You nodded, "Where are they?"

"Currently? In the medical bay." He affirmed his wings twitching

"What about the expansion on the west side of the overhang?" You asked

"Uh..Minimum due to the thick rock and the potential for another storm." He stated

You vented.

Your group of survivors have come a long way since the fall of cybertron, and the massacre of much of your race, But there was still much work yet left to do. Even with the large expanse of rock the storms on the planet you have made refuge on made it difficult to build any shelter on its surface.

This fact ate at you like a starving scraplet, but it wasn't even the worse part. This planet didn't have a reliable energon source, and this caused you to send bots out by space bridge. Some got lucky, others didn't, but it didn't look good either way.

"We discovered a message today though." He said

You raised an optic ridge, "A message."

"Yeah something about 'to all who get this message go to Ath.' Or something," He hums, "The message was kinda... Distorted? possibly from the length it had to travel to get here from its source."

"Cybertronian?" You asked

"Grounder." he confirmed

You tapped your digits together a little, "Possible energon source?"

"High likely hood." He nodded

You hummed, "How about other recourses, Like medical?"

"Less likely, but who knows, their grounders they had the time to grab everything they needed before having to evacuate." He grunted

"I need time to confer with the Guard about what to do, but for now I wish for solitude." You spoke turning your gaze out the window to the grey sky

"Of course Ma'am." He said before turning and walking away

You sighed and walked to the top side your wings shifting into a lowered position. You climbed the last few steps up and forced the heavy metal door open. You stepped out onto the hard, weathered rock made victim to the many temperamental storms of this pits bound place. Your wings twitched at the soft wind.

It was one of the few times this place was peaceful and calm. It wasn't bad, the cool nip on your wings was a comforting one. You began to walk allowing your visor and intake guard to snap away away and let the chilled air lap at your features. You sat on a ledge, one of many here, and slowly pulled a warn and tattered cloth from your sub space.

You vented softly and let the silky material run over your digits. You pressed it softly against your face rubbing it against the scars that had formed since you had lost him.

"With this cloth I present my honor to you." You heard the familiar words ring against your audios, "with this gift I humbly ask for your servo to have and to hold though the process of courting such a lovely femme as you."

You cracked a faint smile at the memory, he was such a kind mech. You miss him dearly. It tears you up inside realizing that he's not here with you where it's safe.

if you closed your optics though, and thought hard enough. You could lose yourself in an elaborate fantasy where he was still beside you and everthing was ok.

Sadly fantasy is much kinder than reality.
