My brown hair whipped behind me in the wind as we were crossing over to our part in the airport to reach our plane. As we finally boarded the plane to go to chicago i sat down in ky seat and looked out the window. I saw snow flying everywhere. I felt my phone vibrate it was Harley texting me. The message read " hey Ginger have a safe flight there and back. I totally have a story to tell you when we get back from this break." I smiled and replied "Cant wait to here about it Harley and thanks." I turned off my phone and slide it into my pocket. I couldnt wait to get to my Aunt and Uncles house it will be the first time in years that i will get to see my cousin Chuck. We were best friends but because of everything with our family we havent been able to see each other. It was deepest my christmas wish for years to see him again. I felt the engine roar to life and i watched as we take off down the runway. I closed my plane window and put in my ear buds. I had frosty the snowman playing through my ear buds until i fell asleep.
*Time skip to getting off the plane in chicago*
I pulled my purple suit case behind me. As i saw there blue chevy impala pull up. I ran to the car. I saw Chuck get out of the car and i gave him a huge hug. He helps me put my luggage in the car. As we both get in the car i realize there is so much to tell him. It was so great to see him and my Aunt again. They played some christmas music and it felt like a real reason to celebrate this season and the day that will happen soon. I looked out my window and saw so many houses covered with lights and i saw the bulls stadium. I smiled and remeber all the times we went to watch them play as kids. This so far has truely been the best present i could have ask for this year. I dont even want anything else. We finally pull up to there house and they take me to the guest room to unpack. I set my purple suit case on the bed and pulled out all my sweaters, jeans, tshirts, and pj's. As i did this i put them all in the dresser and closet. Just as i finished putting everything away. There was a knock at the door. I span around and answered it. It was my cousin chuck and he said "Hey Ginger. Do you want to build a snowman with me like we used to as kids." Now usally i would be all like heck no but because it was hin asking and he is my best friend that im related to i screamed to him "Race you down the stairs and out the house! Who ever gets there last has to make the base for the snowman!" I pushed him to the other side of the door and started running he was right behind me and i saw his mother smiling and laughing with a tray full of christmas cookies as we ran by but as i did Chuck passed me. He laughed and said "You will never catch me Ginger!" I screamed "yes i will i just have to put my snow boots on and so do you." He stopped dead in his tracks and raced to put his boots before me. We made it outside at the same time so we decided to rock paper scissor for it. Like i said he brings out the little kid in me again. "ROCK PAPER SCISSORS SHOOT!" i won so he worked on the base as i worked on the body of our snowman. I got the first one done as he finished the base then he came and helpped me push up on the base. He decided to roll the second body piece and i rolled the head. Once we finally put it together we decided to name him fredric the 5th. We both fell back wards and laughed but then i said "Fredric has no face!" We both jumped up and freaked out we ran into the house and grabbed the essentials an old velvet hat and 5 pieces of coal for eyes and buttons (we didnt have any buttons) i also grabbed a carrot and a corn cob pipe. We got back out there he put on the hat and i put on the eyes he put on the carrot and i did the buttons. I screamed "We forgot his mouth!" We ran back in and grabbed some more coal. We finshed and i smiled. We decided to make snow angels and have a snow ball fight. Which i won by the way. We finally came back in when his mom told us dinner was ready and that we would watch some christmas movies eat dinner and drink hot cocca. Yep the most perfect christmas ever!
