Hannah did seem surprised at what I had told her. I really didn't understand why she got so worked up about it though. He's nice, fun, and kinda...adorable. And considering I work with him most of the time, it's better to get along with him, then to be miserable in his presence.

[Next Day]

"Good morning, L," I yawned. "Oh, you're already making tea?"

L turned from the counter to face me. "Good morning, today's going to be quite a long day, so I figured I'd make tea to keep us awake later."

I smiled at his idea and sat in my chair and looked at my emails.

I read one. "L...come look at this. They believe that Kira has killed an innocent man in trial. It says, 'This was an unexpected death of an innocent man, pleaded not guilty, just seconds from his death.'"

This scared me. If Kira killed the innocent... No. I'm not letting another person die for no reason.

"L, what was that idea about restraining Yagami-kun? I'd like to test that out, for a month."
