My best friend, Hannah, and I met up the next day. "I think I've taken a little bit of a liking to my partner," I said. I blushed slightly and smiled. On the other hand, Hannah's eyes were widened with shock. I thought she'd break her jaw from how low it was hanging.

"Come again, sweetie? Did you say what I think you said?"

I nodded. She tilted her head, holding the same facial expression from a minute earlier. "What?" she questioned, still obviously confused.'

L was walking and ran into us, so I smacked Hannah's arm to get her to snap out of it. I laughed.

"Well, speak of the devil! We were just talking about you!" I said, laughing. "Hannah, this is Ryuzaki."

L looked kind of nervous "Hannah," he repeated her name. "It's...uh...nice to meet you."

I giggled. "Oh Ryuzaki, please don't be nervous! She's my best friend, it's not like she's some random stranger I picked up off the street!"
